I agree with you with Ronaldinho and Ronaldo. There are better (offensive) players than them.

This what confuses me about Pato, is it totally because of Pato's ability that doesn't match Dunga's tactic or Dunga has problem with Pato?

I think it's the latter. Dunga used Nilmar in a similar position to Leo uses Pato in some friendlies.

You´re right.
Pato value(imo) even increased with his new role in Leo scheme. But in Pato´s case, and with all the interviews that I hear here during Dunga tenure, it was clear Dunga doens´t like somehing in Pato. As player and as person...

dunga does not disliek nor hate pato. he dubbed him ronaldos replacement a couple years back and had great words to say about him.. http://www.chinadaily.com.cn/cndy/20...nt_6572196.htm

, the only reasoni can think of pato not making the NT is his young age, maybe he though he lacked experience.. although there were some other young players there too, who knows his reason.. but none the less i think pato would have been key for brazil because if his speed and the midfield of brazils precise passing + patos speed up front through ball to pato = goal

But maybe things changed since then?

On one hand, saving Pato for Milan only games is good. On the other hand, playing for one's country can make a difference for a career. But who knows? Maybe Pato will perform like Rooney and C. Ronaldo and lose confidence. Sometimes things could be a blessing in disguise?

perhaps they have, i wouldnt be suprised because i cant find any other reason pato wasnt included in the STARTING 11 let alone the entire squad itself.. pato is a great player, hes showed that.. and i agree with you 100%, with youth players that are quality they need some type of lets say "experience" to shine and i thought the wc would have been that for pato, just the experience from having played with brazil and being in a world cup would have improved himself as a player, if he had scored goals that would even greater improved him and his confidence to the next level.. well w.e hopefully the new brazil coach realizes the talent in pato

I feel bad for Pato, he is under so much pressure at Milan. If they could get either Aguero, Rossi or Robino to partner him, he would do so much better and play with more freedom.

It seems Thiago Silva and Pato will be used in the first XI of the next Brazilian NT ... Unhappy about the possible injuries, but very happy because these players deserve it, they will gain experience of the highest international level, and they will allow Milan to have some international stars again (I don't mean they aren't stars nor we don't have any other stars, but they're young and will play in one of the best NT).

To conclude, I'll be happy to be able to watch some Milan players in a NT, and we will have World Champions again in 4 years (I keep my prediction despite all: Brazil will be the winner of the next WC).

Come on Pato and T.Silva, show to the world what you're worth !!

PS: But before, show to Europe what you're worth with Milan !!

He just scored a nice goal against the US, passing play from Ganso and Ramires, he ran in and went round Howard.

That means there is no problem with the injury. I like the way Pato finishes, he always tries the most sure option.

This could be his season.
