Yes, only the number 10 (I forget his name) played pretty well. But one man playing well means not a lot if the other two of 3 midfielders play average.

Milan beat Catania 3-1 and go to the next round of the playoff games of Primavera Championship (the winner of the final will be win the championship). In the first leg Milan were beaten 0-1 (I think there was no Verdi and Albertazzi in that game).

Minutes Game

Compare the english version with italian version of the link since name of player in many occasions is also translated like Verdi to Green.

I am glad to see Gaeta as the main striker supported by Odumadi and Verdi.

I follow our Primavera carefully and it's the best team since many years. Superb work has been done by Filippo Galli, Mauro Pederzoli and Giovanni Stroppa. I wish, next coach will use some of the youngsters in first time while no serious investments during mercato.

It's time for Strasser and Albertazzi to play serious games in professional football. I really like this duo. Strasser well organises game in the back and he's physically ready.

Now shortly, but I'll write something more. :D

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the primavera drew 1-1 in the first leg of the final for the championship against Atalanta (which is known for it's strong youth development).

You probably meant Beretti's game. I just read that they drew 1-1 with Atalanta in the first leg after beating Juventus in the semifinal.

Nazionale under 19: convocato Albertazzi

Portieri: Colombi (Pergocrema), Perin (Genoa);
Difensori: Adamo (Palermo), Albertazzi (Milan), Brosco (Triestina), Caldirola (Inter), Faraoni (Lazio), Malomo (Roma);
Centrocampisti: Bertolacci (Lecce), D’Alessandro (Grosseto), Galano (Bari), Sala (Chelsea), Soriano (Sampdoria), Taddei (Gubbio), Tremolada (Inter);
Attaccanti: Borini (Chelsea), Destro (Inter), Dumitru (Empoli).

even with all the youngster we've brought in there is still only albertazzi in the italy U19 squad!! this isnt a good sign!!

Be patient. We just started to invest in youth last year. Zigoni normally plays for U19, he is probably injured since he didn't play against Catania last week. Beretta is probably injured too (but I think he is member of U17 not U19, I am not sure). One player that we got in winter is too young, he plays for U17 if I am not mistaken.

Primavera won Coppa Italia (something that we missed for such a long time) and are in 1/8 final of the championship. Beretti drew 1-1 with Atalanta in the first leg of the Championship Final. Allievi and Giovanissimi are also still in knock-out round. What impress me so much is the Primavera since they were extremely bad for years.

Below are the links of the champions of Primavera and Coppa Italia.

We are still in competitions ergo the lack of call ups.
