Since the last winter mercato, there were rumours about Manchester City wanting Ronaldinho ...

believe me, it only takes for them want to sell him, they will find him a good buyer in a sec. Berlu and Galliani are good at that.

Not in England or Ireland from any credible source if they do it will be marketing but I don't think they will be looking for him , they are going after Ibra Torres Yaya Toure Balotelli Dawson and Chiellini thats what Mancini has said and Mansour backs him , just going by there plan.....But id take Robinho 4 Dinho , I dont think anything good will happen this summer I think next year they will have no choice with all the contracts ending and if next year they renew those contracts then we can worry.

i think for some reason we'll go after ibra maybe it's just wishful thinking but, he's a
6'4" striker who creates his own shots and knows italy well, imagine sell ronaldinho, klass keep borriello 2 wide backs and 1 or 2 midfielders and we're set, i just don't want to sell pato but for 60 million? hmm the reason i say this because pato doesn't create shots, could create space lanes but no passes assist,

OUT : klass, ronaldinho , dida , jakulovski, favalli,
PATO - i hope not but 60 mill think real hard? -

In : Robinho (15 Mill) , Ibra 30 - 40 (Mill)

PROMOTE : De Vito, Stasser , Albertazzi , Verdi , Zigoni ,

Returning players : Astori, Diniz , Paloschi,

---------------Abbiati-----------------------

De Vito ---- T.Silva --- Astori --- Antonini

--------Abate ---- Rino ---- Flamini -------

--------------- Pirlo --------------------

--------Robinho ------------------------

------------------------- Ibra ----------

4 - 3 - 1 - 2 : since berlu is obessed with this formation

Interesting question... If it was up to me, and we get Robinho and Jucilei and others like you said, I would play Pato and Robinho up front. Pato more advanced as CF and Robinho as a second striker, but playing free(left, right, deep). The secret to take the best of Robinho is to let him play all the field up front. He has great mobility and thrives getting the ball in stride... as winger he become a little predictable.

I really don't believe in this Big CF dogma. I want a CF(big or small) that can create his own chances and for the others. Thats why I wanted Luis Fabiano last season. But Pato was a CF all his youth career and already show he can do it in Serie A, even when played alone in Carlo's C. Tree...

Also, Robinho playing free(like in Brazil NT) create a lot of space for the CF, midfielder and fullbacks. But I will not hold my breath for Robinho. He is improving game by game here, and if he will have a good(or great) WC that I am expecting, we will be out of the race(budget).

A REMINDER: I know it will be late for most you guys, but there is a amazing game to watch today(21:40 Brazil) Santos x Grêmio. Fist leg 4 x 3 to Grêmio so, Santos need just a 1 x 0 win. But they don't know how to hold a lead without to attack. So, expect a crazy game like always happen with this Santos team...

Why is everybody so sure that Berlusconi referred to C. Ronaldo instead of the "real champion" Ronaldo?

You're welcome, Xudong...
It's about to start. Let's hope for a amazing game like the first...

EDIT: Almost forgot, São Paulo X Cruzeiro are playing right now, also. But for Libertadores da America.

Yes, and I am watching both. Thanks again. So far only one goal and one torn shirt, from two matches.

Well, anyway, Manchester City, by becoming a big "buyer", will have to sell ... they can't keep 15 strikers in their roster.

Ibrahimovic or Torres going there ? Adebayor leaving ...
Balotelli ? Bye Bellamy and/or Adebayor.
Chiellini ? ...

About Ronaldinho, he is still a good value marketing wise, like you said, and a club like Manchester City needs this kind of player right now. Why ? Because taking Ronaldinho means more sponsors and a signal to other "good" players that the project is serious. It's why they took Robinho at start, to be able to then approach other stars (well, with Robinho, that failed a bit after his first interview !! I loved his "happy to have signed in Chelsea" at his first day in Man City ...).

Guys, be realistic!

If we can not spend big money, I am sure we will not (Berlusconi said so) then let's make our squad younger and more italian so we can prepare for the future!
The time is come to rejuvenate!!

Based on the squad list (Official webpage)

Out:
Dida, Favalli, Kaladze, Jankulovski, Oddo, Beckham, Mancini, Adiyiah - 6 foreigners, 2 italians

In (replacement):
Marchetti, Astori, Albertazzi, Otamendi, Aogo, Strasser, Lazzari, Jucilei, Verdi, Oduamadi - 5 foreigners, 5 italians, (5 milan youth product)

Coach: Allegri or Galli - Tasotti (Italians)

These are cheap changes, and can give us quality, youth, commitment and hunger, what we need for the future if we would like to build a winning squad for the next 10 years!

And if Berlusconi can give us a gift (Robinho, Ibra etc.), who can make the difference then it will be ice on the cake!

And hope that they won't be relegated to Serie B aka Parma v.2.

my ideal situation, sell ronaldinho and hunter, get ibra and robinho and we will have the best attack in the world

Pato on the right running on to through balls, Ibra centre forward coming deep when necessary to create magic and set up Pato or keep possession, Robino on the left acting as a left wing, left forward and second striker dazzling and pulling defenders away creating space and holding the ball.

Ronaldinho "was" a good player, there is no guarantee he will perform as well next season as he did this season. He is also in his 30s, he has one everything there is to win, there is no possibility of him playing in another world cup, so there is no incentive for him to push himself anymore. He can no longer run or take on players, he is limited to picking out passes. Robino is still young, he can run and take on players. He has potential but has not reached the heights of Ronaldinho, so he has added motivation to push himself.

Ibra is Ibra, he was the king of Serie A for the past 5 years. The fact that he has not risen to the occasion at Barca doesn't mean anything, he is still a fantastic player.
