So credit as to go to Messi.
those "thugs" just won the treble. Why string 5 consecutive passes when 2 will do?

He is being a bit of a coward, he just barely won the scudetto and there was element of luck in them winning the coppa and the CL. I think he is leaving on a high note, he probably can't handle the stress of another season in Italy. Winning the treble was more due to the quality of a few individuals like Millito, Sneider, Maicon than his coaching skills. What he did right and what mattered most was putting together a balanced team and getting one or two important players to complete the team.

Hey Shegs! I think this Inter success is kind of made you angry, the same way Man Utd's double made me back in 2008. But Inter deserves what they achieved. That is simply a phenomenal performance by this Inter side, lead by the Great Jose and Great Zanetti

Congratulations to Inter Milan

But AC Milan will be back soon

Jose is a brave man and has defeated the whole Italian media and his rivals yet again. Without him it would have been the same
I wish if Leo had put a balanced team with the available resources and saved us from utter humiliation against Inter and Man Utd for that matter

& finally, i guess it was mainly Jose's idea to go for 2 passes instead of a string of 5 consecutive passes

wat do u guys think about a formation like this? the names really arent important to me 4 this post, except where pato is.

-----------striker----------------
------------------pato----------- > i dont think pato plays well as just a winger, so as a secon striker
robinho--------------------krasic > two wide players
------------r80------------------ >maybe pirlo instead of ronnie, but a player who can be creative in midfield, and make great passes.
------------------flamini--------- > to help defensively
antonini-TS--Nesta - Zambrotta

Wow, pretty much every post right now is about Inter's success.

A few updates...

Allegri could be announced as coach as soon as tomorrow. Cagliari want to keep Astori, with us possibly getting Lazzari. Also Tassotti could be on his way too ahead of next season. All news from milannews.

On another note, which I know is off topic but am unsure where else to post this, I must absolutely recommend a book called Inverting the Pyramid by Jonathan Wilson (a reputable football writer who does articles for the guardian and Times). It's a book about the history of tactics in the sport and talks about significant changes through time.

A chapter within the book is dedicated to Sacchi's Milan (and to a lesser extent Capello's), which I read and found incredibly insightful as it has a lot of comments from Sacchi about his ideas in the game. It is by far the most interesting and in depth read I've ever had about that particular side.

That isn't all obviously, it goes into detail about many great footballing sides, such as systems of the very early days, 50's Hungary, 70's Brazil and Holland (total football), 82' Brazil and Italy and many others.

An absolute must read for any football fan who has an inkling of interest in tactics...

Thanks for the tip, my friend... I will take a look at it.

Anyway, one of our market objectives(Jucilei) will be playing today. Corinthians X Fluminense(15:50 of Brazil). Also, at the same time would be playing Internacional x Săo Paulo(same hour) for Brasileirăo. Giuliano(we where linked last season) and Walter(interesting prospect) maybe will be playing.

Well he's disrespectfull to Inter, but so are most of their players, former players, coaches etc. The place is full of mercenaries and it's fun to see half of their players wanting to leave after their biggest victory ever.

I think it's more disrespectful to Pellegrini though, since he hasn't even been fired yet...

Anyways, seems like Allegri will be announced as a coach tomorrow. I think it seems like a decent choice, although it remains to be seen if he can handle players like Ronaldinho, Pirlo and Seedorf, since it's really not the same as players like Matri, Lazzari and Cossu. His style of play though is something that I imagine Berlusconi will like.

Thanks for the tip. But isn't Wilson the guy who thinks Sir Alex Ferguson changed 21st century tactics?

Corinthians vs Fluminense on !

30 mins in #8 Jucelei, trying to keep an eye out on him.

So far, one really bad touch that almost led to a FLU goal and a probably undeserved yellow though the announcers agree he got ball but it was a tackle from behind...hmmmm.

To add...this Dentinho guy is as soft as charmin toilet paper ! He's always falling down and almost broke his own ankle slipping earlier !
