Summer Mercato 2010

Thats a good mercato indeed, its true we dont need a crazy load of money, just some smart transfers and the guts to offload some players we dont need.
I'm all in for selling huntelaar and Ronaldinho for example.
something about 30m could do the job with the extra money we would get from ronaldinho and huntelaar.

the key is do to some smart business and good scouting. But I'm not sure galliani is the right man for this job. he only seem to look at old crap.

mee too, im usually only here in the summer. last 3 summers have been really similar, hoping 4 a better mercato this year.

Milan move for Felipe Melo? Friday 28 May, 2010

There are reports that Milan could begin reconstructing their midfield with the addition of Juventus flop Felipe Melo.

The Brazilian has been a big disappointment during an overall disastrous campaign from the Bianconeri.


He has, however, made it into the Seleçao for the World Cup in South Africa over the summer.


According to ‘Il Giorno’ newspaper, Milan are ready to take Felipe Melo off Juve’s hands and revitalise his Serie A career.


The Rossoneri would also give him the opportunity to play in his favoured role rather than expected to start attacks from midfield.


Milan are looking to the future, as Massimo Ambrosini and Gennaro Gattuso have been blighted by injuries and the advancing years recently.


This would not be the only transfer between Milan and Juventus, as it is also reported in La Stampa they are in talks to exchange Mauro German Camoranesi with Marek Jankulovski.


Both players are out of contract in June 2011, so need to move now in order to avoid a free transfer situation.

True Giorgos , I read an article in the times recently that Portsmouth should be punished severly and not allowed to play the F.A Cup final because of there 130 million debt and how it is a disgrace that they still can play , Man Utd are in 750 mill debt Arsenal about 600 mil , Liverpool 400 + mill sure the utd and Arsenal ones are servicable but they completely miss the point of there own article if the don't mention how much money those 3 own.

Yes, this is a great lineup that can move well etc. Still we'll need new players next year but fore this one we'd be much stronger for sure.

Good news is that calciomercato claims Rui Costa is sponsoring a switch Huntelaar - D. Luiz, and that would be a genial move by Milan. A player that can play RB, LB, CB at highest levels in the future. Some small money for Jucilei and those are 2 great signings.

We've been linked to M'bia of Marseille. A Cameroon international, he's a strong holding midfielder.

Very average midfielder ... just a decent player. Deschamps used him as a CD and that worked, he was their most solid defender (which allowed Deschamps to put Heinze on the left to replace Taiwo).

The problem is that he doesn't like playing as a CD and said it several times in the medias (which made Deschamps upset during the season when he replied him that if he doesn't want to play as a CD, Deschamps has a place for him next to him on the bench).

According to Guardian Man City offer 35m for Dzeko, so bye bye Dzeko, bt don't worry we wud sign him in 2020............

Hello again bro, it's been quite a while since the last time you visited this forum, I hope everything's fine with you.

IMO both players have similar qualities as they can take on players, set up chances for their partners, or even score the goals themselves. That's why I think swapping Pato with Robinho won't add much to the overall quality of our team.

In fact I think it might harm us a bit since Pato has adapted so well to Italian football. Pato also has a stronger mentality, he overcame the 'second-season syndrome' (unlike Zarate for instance) and despite some injuries last year, managed to do pretty well when being played out of his favorite position as the wing forward. On the other side Robinho never really settled in Madrid and did worse in City even if we can argue that he played as a left forward or even winger most of the time there, whereas I think both are at their best when played as supporting or second strikers though Pato could also play as a CF.

That said, I'm just against the idea of swapping them but not of having Robinho in our team as it's always nice to have another player who can decide the result of a game at anytime. But unfortunately it's more like an utopian dream now, so I wouldn't give the idea much thought if I were you my friend

Nice to meet all of you, especially you, my compatriot. I don't like that idea either; Pato has nice personality and stronger mentality compared to Robinho, and that means a lot.

I do hope we get Otamendi though, he himself has declared that he would like to play for Milan (as also said by Luis Fabiano, Dzeko, Fabregas, Cissokho, Eden Hazard, Milos Krasic, and a bunch of other quality players in the past. F*** management).

Yes he is...for that price anyway. For that kinda money i'd like to see us get three great players whose wages would probably add up to I'mahomob!tch's. That way when B pulls another disappearing act on us we won't be completely lost.
Contrast that to not reinforcing the gaping holes () in defence and midfield but buying this guy who's allegedly world class but is slow, would demand time on the ball and has a history of doing his magical disappearing act in the most crucial games. Crap indeed

Naletilić: Nema recesije, najveći klubovi su puni novca

Od hrvatskih nogometaša, čiju je cijenu spustio neodlazak na SP, sredinu bi ovog ljeta mogli promijeniti Modrić, Srna, Pletikosa i Nikica Jelavić te Strinić i Mandžukić iz HNL-a.

Najveći ovoljetni transferi nogometaša dogodit će se uoči i nakon Svjetskog prvenstva, a za vrijeme samog natjecanja eventualno će trajati licitacija među klubovima o odštetama za igrače koji su već ranije dogovorili svoje uvjete s novim poslodavcima, smatra Marko Naletilić, nasljednik menadžerske dinastije kojom još uvijek dirigira otac mu Predrag.

Porazgovarali smo o gibanjima u aktualnom prijelaznom roku:

- Upravo se završavaju transferi etabliranih igrača, dok će nakon Mundijala na meniju biti pojedinci koji su se istaknuli u redovima takozvanih autsajdera.

Od ovih etabliranih riječ je o Fabregasu, Torresu, Ibrahimoviću, Jovanoviću, Krasiću...

Zlatanov je problem visoka plaća koju malo klubova može podnijeti. Uvjeren sam da će Inter prodati Realu Maicona, ali neće Milita i Sneijdera. Kako Liverpool ne igra Ligu prvaka, prodat će Torresa, ali moguće je da će čekati da mu na SP-u poraste cijena.

Naletilić smatra da će ovaj prijelazni rok biti bolji od prošlog, kad su se tržili Cristiano Ronaldo, Eto’o, Ibrahimović, Kaká, Milito, Huntelaar, na kraju i Robben i Sneijder...

- Svjetska recesija neće utjecati na visinu odšteta jer najveći klubovi imaju novca. Ionako se uvijek sve vrti oko Real Madrida, Barcelone, Intera, Chelseaja, oba Manchestera... Aktivniji nego inače bit će Juve, koji je lani podbacio, te Milan, ako mu u vlasničku strukturu uđe Gazprom.

Naletiliću je glavno tržište Italija. Lani je imao punomoć da u Milan dovede Edina Džeku, ali je cijena od 40,000.000 eura koju je istaknuo Wolfsburg bila prevelika prepreka.

- Džeko je ovog proljeća bio i na radaru Real Madrida, no najvjerojatnije će u Manchester City, bojim se da Milan niti sa svježim ruskim novcem ne može u tu utrku.

Od hrvatskih nogometaša, kojih nema na SP-u, popularniji će biti Srbi.

- Strahovito smo izgubili što nas nema na pozornici u JAR-u, pa će pogledi zainteresiranih biti usmjereni prema reprezentativcima Slovačke ili Srbije, čiji su igrači slični našima. Od onih iz HNL-a prodat će se Strinić iz Hajduka, a vjerojatno će doći i ponuda za Mandžukića. Od onih koji su već izvan zemlje, zanimljiv klubovima iz Liga petice je Nikica Jelavić, po profilu i učinku (30 golova u 52 nastupa, nap. p.), istina je da se za Modrića i Srnu zanima Chelsea, a osobno vjerujem da ću uspjeti Pletikosu maknuti iz Moskve.
Polušpice su izvan mode

Na primjeru Reala ( Mourinho), koji dovodi brza krila sposobna ponavljati, može se ocijeniti kakvi se igrači danas najviše traže u vrhunskim klubovima:

- Dobro ste rekli, brzina i ponavljanje, samo se to traži. Većina momčadi igra s jednim jakim i svestranim napadačem, te s po dva hitra krila, poglavito u Italiji i Engleskoj. Polušpice su izvan mode, osim u Španjolskoj. Zato su trenutno u žarištu zanimanja moj Krasić, pa Di Maria, te tipovi igrača á la Robery i Robben, brzi i jaki ‘jedan na jedan’. Danas bi jako profitirao Miki Rapaić, u svoje vrijeme takve igrače nisu puno cijenili. Posljednjih godina trguje se i s trenerima, mnogi su veće face od igrača...
Traže se ‘gladni’ treneri

- Mourinho je broj jedan za napraviti rezultat, no za mene je najbolji Capello. Nisam u posljednje vrijeme razgovarao s njime i ne vjerujem da će u Inter, jer ne može ponoviti Mourinhovu ‘triplettu’. Capello jest kazao da će se nakon napuštanja reprezentacije Engleske umiroviti, no on je manijak svoga posla, kao i moj otac.

Prandelli će preuzeti ‘azzurre’ nakon Lippija, u Fiorentinu će Mihajlović, Del Neri iz Sampdorije je preuzeo Juventus, dok se Milan odlučio za Massmiliana Allegrija (42).

- Allegri se dokazao prošle dvije sezone u Cagliariju. Iznimno je talentiran, mlad, gaji ofenzivan nogomet kakav se sviđa Berlusconiju, ima osobnost, a nije ni skup. Općenito se u ambicioznim klubovima traže ‘gladni’ treneri, željni dokazivanja - naglasio je Naletilić.

Domagoj Vida odlično prošao, Zvonko Pamić mogao čekati
Naletilić smatra da je Domagoj Vida iz Osijeka postigao maksimalnu cijenu od 2,400.000 eura koliko će za njega platiti Bayer Leverkusen, dok je još tinejdžer Zvonko Pamić imao potencijal da ostankom dvije-tri sezone u HNL-u postigne višemilijunski transfer. Dodajmo i da je hrvatskim reprezentativcima, osim Njemačke, dostupna i Francuska, gdje za razliku od Italije, Španjolske i Engleske imaju status igrača iz EU, kao i u Grčkoj.

Also, that his ( his player ) Krasić will go to Juventus aldough United wants him. That Dzeko will most likely go to City becouse even with Gazprom money Milan cannot pay that.
