Bale is fantastic player but did u watch him defending? i guess not. this guy best played at left wide player. but when defending he is no better than our fullbacks! and if we want a full back to be our focal point on going forward then i would take marcelo over dani alves and maicon. truth to be said we need a full back who can hold his position and go forward, and bale just cant do it,

Such talented and young player will learn to defend as Serginho did in Milan, that should not be a problem.

On "milanesi sa balkana" one person is saying how italian forums are talking about Galliani helping Perez to buy D. Luiz coz Milan cannot pay for him, and Milan will get some player from Madrid. That would really be something great from Galliani again. Just bringing the "news", not my idea. We'll see.

Rui Costa clearly said Milan has an advantage on his players.

Almost certainly not true but ... in that case he should sign with Madrid himself, and you know who I mean

I think Bale is animpossible player for Milan, to expencive and Tottenham will play CL etc. Not possible. Marcelo is an ok solution as an attacking LB as far as Im concerned. MAybe idiot Galliani did something and MArcelo will be free to join us after Kolarov signs for Real.

Lazzari was one of the more important players in Allegri's Cagliari and is effectively an attacking midfielder. He's a decent player and I believe around 25. I also think his wikipedia page had a comment that he'd already signed for Milan in a deal for around 10m euros.

The guy talking about Ganso is FIFA agent Sabatino Durante who does deals for Santos. Ganso surely can be bought for less as he's certainly not known well enough outside of Brazil to be worth that amount. The only player in his age group who I think would be valued at a similar price would be Neymar, who's more widely known outside of Brazil.

As for other rumours of late. I simply say No to renewing Favalli, No to renewing Dida and definitely no to Cannavaro.

I actually believe he's much better than Gattuso in attacking phase, 25 years, with him and Flamini we could easily get rid of Gattuso, and keep Ambro on bench...

i cannot believe some guys here are actually considering Bale & Marcelo as LEFT BACKS!!!!
i know they are both very good going forward (i prefer Bale) but they are not good defenders....I don't think either of them can defend better than Abate did this year and although these are all young players, they are just not full back material.
But again, as somebody said, we are too late for Bale....we should have got him in Jan...
Diarra i don't like, we already have a better player in Flamini, just let the guy play
Cannavaro is a definite no...although no defender can ever produce a better 7-game serie like he did in 2006, that was the last i've seen him play well
Nobody offering 40M for Dzeko is a real shocker especially with all the hype that every team out there wanted to sign him...could there be more to that issue?

Dzeko is a better player then Cardozo in my oppinion. Faster, stronger in headers, better control etc. Cardozo is a good player, but not a player we need.

Bale can play as a LB, if Sergio could and Stam played as a RB ( with a LOT of attacking efficiency!) so can Bale. MAicon never looked to be such a beast when he started as a RM, RB, look what turned out.

Im worried about this Lazzari stuff. We dont need to spend money we dont have on such players, but Galliani does that all the time. It 1000 times better to invest into a player like Jucilei or someone like Bonucci ( plus some exchange of some of our players) etc.

Lazzari will not give us what we need. We need a player that will give us a jump in a quality.

Also, maybe it would be better Milan invests into 2 great players and fits few young ones into the first team and so prepares the squad to be competitive for 2 years.

We cannot build a top team this summer unless someone gives Galliani 100mln. OK, so lets not spend money on 4,5 players that will be mediocre and make Milan mediocre even next year with more signings ( possibly ).

Why dont just sell what we can, pay, or include in the deal some players, for lets say D. Luiz ( pure class CB, FB ) and a player like Ganso or someone. Make maybe few smaller deals and that is it.

Next year again invest into 2 class players ( CF, CM ) and the team will then have a very strong "backbone" of NEsta, Thiago, Luiz, Ganso, CM, PAto, CF.... By buying mediocre players we can pay for we'll never built a great Milan again. What do you think?

Ahhh...silly season...the wonder, the joy, the anticipation, the worry!

Personally, I think keeping Ronalinho should be a priority, and letting Dida, Favalli, Oddo, and a few others go is almost as important.

Who to come in? Well, I would want to see the new coach first....then I guess we will see what comes of that...

NO WAY! mark my words, he will have a terrible season, he has nothing left to play for, there is no silverware to win with Milan and there is no World cup coming up, and be fair, he isnt the most proffesional player around.

and mark my words, without him we could end in a 10th place last season

I was just going to write this...

Some sources here reported today about noon that Wolfsburg didn't receive a 40 M offer for Dzeko, so he's staying. This is bad for Dzeko, his progress will stall, and he knows it. This move is very unfair to him. He wanted to be kind and grateful to the team who gave him a chance, he extended until 2013 just for Wolfsburg to get more money for him, and this is what he got in return. Still, better another year in Wolfsburg than move to Man. City. Perhaps he'll be able to move to Milan next year.

For L. Diarra, this guy is all speed, determination and energy. That's all what he has in common with Gattuso, apart the fact he is equally bad in attacking. He can't make a tackle without making a foul, he tackles like headless chicken, without timing and precision, just wants to take the ball with force, but he can't force the ball of a 70 kilos player (Delgado from Lyon). Hilarious. But unfortunately in nowdays' football it's more important he can cover a lot of ground with his running, than actual tactical or technical skill.
