Some interesting news today. Moggi is convinced Milan will do something big in the market. Despite his obvious flaws, the man knows football, so if he expects Milan to do something, then I won't be surprised if we get some interesting transfers.

Cellino (Cagliari president) has admitted he's forcing Allegri to see out his contract. The reason is pride and he's apparently angry at Allegri for losing focus on Cagliari during his time there.

Moggi is not the only fotball related person who says that we are going to make a big transfer this summer. Some of the other agent go even further saying that Milan has already agreed the transfer of Dzeko...we can only wait and see.

During all the current week, there were almost only bad rumours: this player linked with Juventus, this one with Inter, him with Real, etc ...

And today, only good rumours:

- Antonelli, a LB coming from our Primavera and playing in Parma, could come back (with Paloschi staying in Parma one more year), I never rated him so high but he did a good season. Luca Antonelli could be a good backup for Luca Antonini (http://www.tuttomercatoweb.com/milan...d&idtmw=212327).
- City still wanting Ronaldinho (http://www.tuttomercatoweb.com/milan...d&idtmw=212339 ; yes, IMO, it's a good rumour, as if we sell him and as we don't tend to buy wingers by looking at the names of the players we're linked with, that would mean we would stop this 4-3-3, so we would use some of our players properly and would get more money than expected from the sale of Ronaldinho as MC overpay on the mercato ... the only problem is the quote of Pato saying he stays by hoping that Ronaldinho will also stay).

Let's wait the end of the WC for Italy (Bonucci), Brazil (actually, we're not linked with any NT player ?), Netherlands (what will happen with Huntelaar ?) and Argentina (Otamendi) and we will probably know if something "big" can really be expected or not ...

Oh yes, I forgot, it's not a rumour, it's pure truth: the WC starts today !!

Can't believe Cellino would pay Allegri wages for a year just to spite him. How ungrateful considering that Allegri's taken Cagliari from relegation battles to midtable. Also surely players like Matri and Astori wouldn't go to Cagliari in the future if they did something like this.

He wouldn't and he won't ... He just tries to take some profit from this situation. Even if Cagliari and Milan say they have a great relationship, Cellino "controls" us since we decided that our next coach would be Allegri.

You read it: a mid-table team managed to find a way to control us for some weeks ... If Cellino deals well with this situation, Cagliari could be the big winner of our choice to take Allegri. Oh, and if I were Galliani, I'd say to Cellino that we give him 100% of Kaladze, Oddo, Jankulovski and our 50% of Astori if he allows Allegri to sign in Milan right now.

About the ungrateful thing, it seems Cellino thinks the bad results of Cagliari (I don't remember, they started in January, February ?) are the consequence of Allegri's behaviour ... I don't know what happened between them, but it looks like they're not very friends (if I understand well, it's because of what said Allegri several times when he was linked with all the top clubs of Serie A in medias, he never said "no", it's even the contrary, he opened the door).

Mancini was here only on loan right? We only paid for a loan and his half-season salary, and if I remember correctly, if we wanted, we could pay a fixed amount for his half ownership; which means, if we wanted to have him in whole, we then would still need to bid against Inter for the that.

That sounds like a lot of trouble to "keep" him. Wouldn't that be easy to just send him back? Sometimes I don't understand what Galliani is up to.

True, but I tend to listen to Moggi more than many others. Latest news says Berlu has said that we sell first, and only then buy. Biggest problem is we're having trouble getting rid of Kala, Janku and Oddo.

You're on the mark there. He was got on loan and quite frankly, I have no doubt he should not be kept on a permanent basis, it would be a terrible decision (I'd rather give his position in the squad to Verdi than keep him).

No, because Inter don't want to keep him ... so they would agree for a price with us actually. The problem for Mancini is that we don't seem to be interested too ...

What do you people think about the fb Adriano from Sevilla? He is linked with Milan together with Fabiano. Huntelaar + money for both of them or something like that seems fine to me.

Whats up with all this fetish for Fabiano? Yes Huntelaar was bad, but Fabiano isn't that much better! Keep in mind Fabiano is 30! Dzeko is the best choice, or send Pato to the middle, and bring in Krasic or Ganso.

If our management has that kind of ability to make sense with their decisions, we wouldn't be AC Milan.

PS: I know it's not about our mercato, but I really found it funny when I read this article, really, if you don't watch the picture, and if you erase the "Inter" and "Moratti" words from the article, you could really think it is Galliani speaking ... Milan is the creator of a new wave in football clubs (we have always been the ones who make the innovations) !!

Rumors today that Braida has offered 27 year old right back Francois Clerc a 3 year contract with a salary of less than 1m per season. Even though he is cheap and free, this player is not a good addition. He's not the type of player we need, not even as a sub. We should have tried for Motta (Roma). What happened to Mario Fernandes, Van der Wiel, Jucilei and all those players we were linked with?

Other rumors from skysport claim that Gattuso will join Cannavaro (Trez & Lippi included) at Al Ahli in Dubai. Now that would be a good move as we would free one more useless player from an expensive contract. Hopefully this could open the door to Jucilei. There's also a rumor that City is offering 15mil for Ronaldinho and a 9mil per year contract. I would refuse it and ask for 20m.



Moratti wants to sacrifice at least one player from his team, most likely Maicon. Inter are already shaping up the Benitez way and I can see them being so pathetic. Inter should have kept on to their squad. As much as I'd like to see Inter crumble in Italy, we need them badly in Europe especially next year as we need to get 5 more points than Germany on average to keep our 4th CL spot.

We should hope that teams like Palermo, Juve, Samp, Roma and Napoli not disgrace Italy in Europe as they have been accustomed to in recent years. I believe in Napoli but not the rest.
