If Allegri wants to play 4-3-1-2 like in Cagliari, and I REALLY hope that will be the case, Ronaldinho is surplus, so it's worth the risk to sell him. Only if Allegri could persuade Berlu to do that. If Ronaldinho would go, it would mean Allegri clearly knows what he wants (unlike Leonardo last season), and it would be a great sign.

Oezil is FANTASTIC fit for trequartista position in 4-3-1-2, he's exactly what Allegri wants from a player on that position. That is, to have movement, to go to the side, to act as a center forward sometimes, in other words to make cohesion with two forwards... Pastore would be great also. Money from Ronaldinho should be enough for either of the two.

I will repeat what I wrote many times here, we must take risk by selling older stars for which we can take money to improve our team. Now it's the right time to sell Ronaldinho just like it was the right time to sell Pirlo two years ago.

I think so, he is the best option for AMC now. We really need him. IMO, we need a AMC the most, not SC or FB.

I agree with you. With limited budget and big-money needed to rebuild a team, selling almost-30 stars will help a lot (of course not all stars). Gattuso, Pirlo (this player I am not so sure) are the examples.

The team would also be more balanced with this formation (and even more balanced without Ronaldinho) ...

And it's the year for Pato to explode at the highest level ... as a striker !! If that happens, we'll be able to sell him for a big amount of money (60 to 80M) !!

About Ozil, I never noticed him in a game (and more especially because I don't care about Bundesliga). I really saw him for the first time against Australia. I'm interested to see how he will play against Serbia, a team a bit more organized and better than Australia ...

Is he that good with his club ?
I mean, does he often do the kind of performance he did against Australia ?

PS: Of course, I'm kidding about the last part (the sale of Pato, not about his level).

It seems it's already a done deal for Storari in Juventus (4.5M). Does that means that they're going to sell Buffon ?

About Ozil. He's just 21 (turns 22 in October)

Last year:
9 goals, 12 assists in 31 league games. He filled in Diego's role as CAM in 4-2-3-1

year before he played mostly wing in same formation, because Diego took his role, had 3 goals and 12 assists in 28 games (only 20 as starter).


Werder finished 3rd last year with 71 goals (second most behind Bayern who had 72). An improvement on year before where they finished an abysmal 10th

Ozil could be gotten a little cheaper (if hype dies down), because he is out of contract in 2011 and has no desire to renew. Werder were said to sell him for 15 mil euros before world cup, but only Arsenal offered 10 mil.


For m... him + Afellay on dutch NT could be steal buys. Afellay is another creative guy who can play everywhere in midfield. Often took a deep role this year, but in post had been mostly attacking winger could be had for even less

Interesting to read about Storari, who would come, someone up and coming or another underwhelming veteran

geotav, your post bout dida made me laugh so much haha... just as there are many rumours about storari being sold to Juve, unfortunately it seems like Amelia (really bad GK in past 3 years) is coming our way on a free loan.. I dont like this move, IMO Storari is better but it kinda sounds like the management need the 4m for something in the works

They certainly do, we needed that money to pay off the phone, plumbers, laundry, and electricity bill.

4M for the arguably the best GK in the Serie A last season. What a bargain for Juve.

Even though I have only seen him play over the past months or so but this Hernandez kid from Mexico is showing great potentials. How come kids that Milan sign can't do the same?

How many kids does milan actually give a chance to? I'm not talking a 10 min cameo....

Firstly Ozil is beyond our reach..... And bringing in the Nigerian keeper as our second GK if Storari leaves would be a risk.... Alot of pressure knowing that somewhere during the course of the long campaign Abbiatti will get injured and this bloke will have to step in.

But having Dida between the sticks means risks are no longer a worry for Milan anyways.....

For starter, using a non-EU spot on a backup GK is very stupid. These Non-EU spots should be use in the starting 11.
Secondly, GK should be the least of MIlan concern as what's the point of selling Stoari(best GK in Serie A in 09-10) for 4mil, if the replacement is probably going to cost the same.
