Count your blessings. At least we didn't have to sell two players for over 80 million to fund the 15 million Huntelaar.

The fact that it would just be a loan, with an option to buy him if I'm not wrong, is good because if he finally explodes (if he plays because I think he will start as the 2nd Gk in the hierarchy), we'll have a very good GK and not too old. If he doesn't manage to improve, he'll go back to his club and will probably never become the very good GK he could have been after his promising young years.

It looks like the sale of Storari is going to finance the purchase of Lazzari as it seems he is valued to 6M, and as a consequence, that would mean that the arrival of this player would be paid thanks to the money earned with the sale of Storari and the money saved in our wages budget (with the end of contract of Dida).

So, if any other player leaves, that will mean we have some targets on the mercato.
Exactly, it's a good move imo.

Amelia is indeed very talented, but does seem to have problems off the field. At least I seem to remember him getting in fights with alot of coaches. Nevertheless this increases our budget by 5 Million, and gives us an option to buy Amelia (At least I think), a young goalkeeper, if he turns out to be a succes, which he very well could be.

About Ibrahimovic, I can't think off any better partner for Pato. It actually could happen, but is probably unlikely. Afterall Man City did loan out Robinho (The most expensive EPL player ever), so it's not impossible for a player as expensive as Zlatan to be loaned out. The question is just if Barcelona really are gonna try and give him a year more by pushing Villa to the LW.

Personally I think it would be a crime for Barcelona to push out Pedro from the starting 11 and push Bojan further away, but no one knows what this new Barca president is like.

I know that many of us had better options in mind, but the Amelia move is a good one.... Storari was never coming back as long as there was strong interest from other clubs anyways.

This deal is of a player who has heaps of potential but with us taking no risks if it doesn't work out. Furthermore, the deal will most likely leave Abbiatti happy as well, so we can keep both for next season.

But who here would prefer Diego Alves and Amelia?

AC Milan Set Sights On Barcelona Duo Aliaksandr Hleb & Martin Caceres - Report
The Rossoneri are looking to shop in Catalonia...
www.goal.com

AC Milan are interested in acquiring the services of Barcelona duo Aliaksandr Hleb And Martin Caceres, according to Italian publication Leggo.

The Italian giants are in the market for reinforcements as they plan to mount serious challenges in Serie A and the Champions League.

Hleb was expected to move to Inter as part of the deal which took Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Barcelona, but the Belarusian declined a transfer to the Giuseppe Meazza. He instead took up a loan stint at Stuttgart, where he had previously spent five years, helping Die Roten reach the Champions League round of 16.

Caceres, who is part of Uruguay's squad at the World Cup, spent the season on loan at Juventus, who opted against a permanent deal for the 23-year-old.

Both players are not part of Pep Guardiola's squad plans at Barcelona and could be interested in a new challenge at Milan, with whom the Blaugrana have a good relationship following the transfers of Gianluca Zambrotta and Ronaldinho in 2008.

Down fall of the Dutch has just started. RVP will 100% choke when they need goals desperately.

Carceres is alright, especially knowing that we need a full-back... However he is very injury prone and not someone I think we should invest in. If he was on loan again then we should be interested, but it seems Barca want to get rid of him for good.

Hope springs eternal , I think we'll get a few new p;layers but not Dzeko i'd like him and he would work but 40 million is a figure that we are not prepared and honestly not able to pay now.Milan dont have that sort money to spend now its a hell of alot of money and I just can't see it happening...although I know you said hope and i hope too.

Dzeko, 24 had a price tag of £35 million but it now looks like Wolfsburg will not receive more than £28 million for the player, who has netted an impressive 56 goals in 94 league for the club and 15 times in 24 appearances for the Bosnian national side.

Sao Paulo defender Miranda in AC Milan sights
tribalfootball.com
Sao Paulo defender Joao Miranda remains a target for AC Milan.

Milan have been tracking Miranda for over 18 months.

The 25-year-old has been one of the best performers in Brazil's Serie A and knows all about Milan's Thiago Silva.

Milan are weighing up moving for either Miranda or Velez Sarsfield's highly rated young centre-back Nicolas Otamendi this summer.

i rather get otamendi whose younger and can play as wideback also
