We really need a ACM like Kaka, if not, signing Fabiano will not get the most effect.

Ronaldinho play too wide on the left, sometimes cut inside. If he remains, we still need a player like Borri to move a lot and shield the ball. Dzeko is to expensive.
Özil? I just found the video of the U21 European Cup 2009 final. Özil was awesome there. I thought that his player only a player that show up only in certain games but how he managed to bring his friend to destroy England 4-0 in final is surprising me. But his price should be at least double right now and I've heard that Barca are interested in him. So, I am sorry to write previous sentence.

I really don't know the way Barca spend. Where could Özil play in current Barca team, when they bought Villa & Mata, maybe Fabregas.

So if Berlusconi want to give us fan a gift, your choice is Özil, right?

IMO, ACM is needed the most. Özil is fine for me

Well, Ozil in Barcelona could be there to progressively replace Xavi ... One year to learn, one year to take the starting place, and in 2012-2013, Ozil is their new starter in midfield.

In Milan, Ozil would become one of our starters once he puts one foot in Milanello ...

So if I were Ozil, my choice would be easily done: Milaaaaaaaaaaaaan !!

Yes, Özil. But as long as it is not a star who will end up his peak performance I will agree though. A young player (if possible) who can play for the first team. I like Özil and Müller.

Ah, we are not like some years ago. This place (thread) is only for dreaming.

Tbh, I don't think a transfer of Özil would be completly unrealistic. His contract runs out next season, and he seems set on leaving the club. Werder Bremen are gonna have to sell if a decent offer comes in, which it will... Also he's a player who's clearly worth the money, he's already proven in Germany and best of all the World Cup, so I don't think it takes a football scout to see that signing him would be good buisness, and I'm sure even Galliani knows this.

Biggest problem in my opinion is to convince him to come to Milan instead of Barcelona, Chelsea, Juventus, Merda etc. who are all, for sure, gonna be bidding for him as well.

Poor Özil if he chooses Barca

Ah, we are not like some years ago. This place (thread) is only for dreaming.

Uhm, do you like Honda?

Özil is a typical playmaker, he can do everything required for a midfielder, but he is not physically strong to defend or be lethal like a forward. A classical midfielder.

Honda is a modern player, physically strong but still very skillful, freekick specialist and can play as a forward (his heading & composure is good). A leftfooter, often drift in from the right, can play like an inside forward (winger with the strongfoot opposite with the flank) on the right when Ronaldinho is a left inside forward.

Classic or modern?

The amount 20M should spend for one of them or player like them. I still think we need an ACM than a forward. A multi-function like Ibra is another case, but that's more dream than a dream

Both would be needed ...

Honda is the typical player that all clubs need: he can play in so many positions, and he proved in CSKA and with Japan that he can play at the highest level (+ he is left footed, we have no left footed player in our team, so would be perfect for us).
Ozil is the typical player that we need.

I'll call Galliani tomorrow to tell him to sell Ronaldinho and Gattuso in the next few days and start the negotiations with CSKA and Werder.

More seriously, if Juventus is interested by Ozil, I'm a bit afraid that we will let them buy Ozil and take Diego (thanks to the good relationship between both clubs since the new managers are at the head of Juventus).

Like Juventus will do the same kind of season as this year, they will want to replace Ozil who will miserably fail (like Diego this year), we will let them buy one of the players we want, and welcome Ozil. As a consequence, we will have an in form Diego (back to his best level in Milan) and a competitor for his position or for the central midfield (back to his best level too in Milan). In 2 years, thanks to Juventus, we'll have an almost complete new midfield with Flamini being a starter with them ... Milan always wins at the end, that's the true story of football.

PS: Am I dreaming even more than you with Ibrahimovic ?

I don't mind if Juventus take Özil and us Diego. The Brazilian is perfect for 4-3-1-2 (or 4-1-2-1-2) formation.

Flamini - Pirlo - Ambrosini
----------Diego--------------
----Fabiano---Pato--------

I concern for Özil about his fitness. He was often subbed out both at club and NT. He rarely got injuries and all were minor, but the destroyers in Serie A is another story. Juventus, like Inter, has the tendency of signing strong & athletic players, so the chance is small.

PS: The more dreamer, the closer reality is

Now Hunter will be sold I think and we'll probably get 12 - 15 million , I dont think Fenerbahce have offered 23 mil for him , I'd imagine that we will have 20 million at most to spend , so you want Dzeko 35 million and 3 young good players that would be about say 8 million each for a good player 20 - 23 thats 59 million we just do not have it to spend for whatever reason it just is not possible.

I think Fabiano will arrive with 1 or 2 free out of contract players or loan players....But saying MGT are going against the fans isnt really what is going on we will not have 59 million to spend , Dzeko is out he is too expensive for Milan.

Also Dzeko is 24 , 25 in March I wouldnt fancy having him when he is 35 , thats what has us in a mess in the first place.
Interesting...
so by what you're saying.. I'd say we're totally screwed.... We can't buy unless we sell....and we don't have anything to sell... so we'll have old idiots like Oddo Dida Gattuso Kaladze Favalli who will just get older..and then retire.. and then we'll have no money to buy anyone new????

If that's the case I have 2 questions...

1. How did Berlusconi get that broke? How did Milan get that broke? They sold Kaka and Sheva for a lot of money...how in the world are they broke?

2. If Berlusconi is that broke, why doesn't he sell to a sheik so we can have some money... why are we going to continue on like that.. next year we'll end up like Juventus this year...

Berlu is definitely nothing close to broke.. the money he makes day to day just increases in his bank. its milan going broke. theyve bun cupless for some time now and HAvent made the best of investments.. the problem is they sell without buying, and the players they sell are the players that make us a recognizable club. kaka did a big deal in r ucl win and sheva basicly did alot in everything we've won.. see, when you get rid of those players and dont win anything, that money from sales slowly decreases just on player wages! basicly ; spend, go in debt, make the money back from actually winning things and huge ticket sale and jersey sale increase, then u pay the debt and have a good team, its a cycle basically, makes sence to me. but with berlu and galis hard bald heads we need to sell to buy. gattuso, dida, favalli, janku, oddo, zambro out - robinho, hernanes and a good investment towards a young upcoming (pato type but more of a acm or wherever we lack) and were set.. by time winter mercato is over with another quick addition and we have a highly competitive milan again

he is definitely not broke. but his government just approved a massive pay cut to workers.... he CANNOT be seen spending 30 million on players. we are just in a lose-lose situation at the moment.

and NO way do I, and many other italians, want this club to go the way of foreign ownership. that would be the darkest day. but im certain it would never happen..
