That could be the starting lineup for 2012 euro and it is allot better than the one in SA already.

You know that Juventus will have four players (out of 5) in the back right? I envy them.

The other two may not stay with them, but I won't be surprised if they end up with G. Rossi too. Juve has been fast and effective this summer. Whether it works out is another matter, but at least their fans could be happy for a few months.

Italy always does that (hoping to fix something big with something quick and stupid). Any football historian please correct me if I am wrong, but I can only remember vaguely, after the tragic exit from WC 1966, Italy had a similar move, and the result was that no Italian club could even hire any new foreigners for at least a decade, and 1970s wasn't exactly Italian clubs' golden era. Instead, after 1980s, when Italy lifted the limit and re-opened up to the foreigners, Serie A prospered again and gained the fame as the "Small World Cup".

For the record, I think this was another stupid, stupid move; and to make it worse, as Hitman pointed out, it was not just stupid, but unfair and unprofessional. They should at least have the decency to wait until the next year or the next winter window to start implementing it. So many negotiations have started and have to be halted. I don't know if it has happened to some clubs, but I wonder what will happen to those clubs that have already hired two non-EU players for the upcoming seasons?

On another side note, juventus must have seen this coming otherwise how to explain that they have got five decent players (I envy the most Bonucci and Marco Motta)? They probably knew this was going to happen, after they sent so many craps to Azzuri, they knew Italy was going to lose this way.

@Aficio: I am sure that he could just use his claws to cut the ball right before it goes in, but he might be called for handball and may get red card + PK.

Milan sacrifice Ronaldinho for Ibra?

Milan could be willing to part with Ronaldinho and Klaas-Jan Huntelaar to raise funds for Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Keisuke Honda.

Vice-President Adriano Galliani has confirmed that the Rossoneri are interested in Ibra, but “we must sell before we can bring in any new players.”


According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, the two stars sacrificed to bring in the Swede will be Huntelaar and Ronaldinho.


The Dutch striker, currently at the World Cup, flopped in his debut Serie A season and is surplus to requirements under new Coach Massimiliano Allegri.


After turning down Fenerbahce, it’s reported Huntelaar could be talked into accepting a transfer for Bayern Munich worth €15m.


The rest of the cash for €40m-rated Ibrahimovic would be raised by selling off Ronaldinho, who has not yet extended his contract amid a row over wages.


The clubs willing to splash out the personal terms he requires include Manchester City, LA Galaxy and Olympiacos.

Why should be Ibra? Almost old player changed to a 1-year-younger player, that's not a good sign for club that must spare their money.

btw, we have been linked with Fabregas before...not this summer I mean a couple of year ago.... you know, he suits the bill perfectly for being a world class champion who can change Milan completely right now... plus the Barca move doesn't seem so simple and even if he goes there, where's he going to play? Barca will have to shuffle it's deck just to fit in Fabregas. I guess thats why Barca are saying we will not go crazy for Fabregas, if they dont want to lower their demands we don't need him.

I say, let's start talking about him here and then the press in a few days will write about him(always happens with MM)...that might give ideas to our management..

I know the players can do whatever they want during their holidays, but like Ronaldinho isn't the most serious guy during the season, he will need 6-7 months to be physically in form.

The only good thing about it is that Allegri won't be able to use R180(kilograms) and as a consequence, he will probably not play a kind of 4-3-3 ...

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is increasingly close to joining Milan, as the £30m would be paid over four years.

All i wish for at the moment is for us to get rid of Oddo, Khaladze and Janku. Could add Bonera in that list as well.They are just dead weight now. I would be glad if we can drop em off even in return for ****. As far as Ibra. is concerned, am not very excited about shipping him in. Would prefer Huntlaar to stay. N btw if Allegri thinks Huntlaar is already in excess to Milan s requirments, Ibra. is no better. Selling R80 wouldnt be that bad an idea especially after i saw that disgusting pic of his in one of the posts. Guess we are not going to have a very happening mercato afterall.

Joe Cole will not be coming to Serie A, he is only saying that to drive up his wages offer from Man Utd and Arsenal.

As for Ibra, he is too expensive for Milan and I just don't see Berlu selling Dinho to fund Ibra. The team I see him heading to is actually Juve, as they are spending money while still have players that Barcelona want in Poulsen and Tiago.

Rumour has it that Merda are interested in Lucas Leiva. LOL.. if some of us think Galliani actually works for Madrid then perhaps Rafa's appointment was masterminded by Berlu to sabotage Inter from inside.

Allegri's job will be twice as easier if Rafa comes up with another N'gog kind of buying.

I cannot believe rumours about Ibra at all.....He is really expensive and while its seems do-able we'll be spending 13 million for 4 years on his fee and wages which basically 13 times our budget these last few years ....Berlu and MGT are happy with our squad I think they want rid of Oddo, Janku and Kala but its really 2 years too late to be honest.Allegri isnt going to make demands he'll probably think i'll do my best finish 2nd or 3rd and when that happens he'll be gone like Leo...IDK it could happen.

It wasn't too long ago we said if Leo leaves at the end of the seson then we know MGT will have no plans to sign players get rid of the deadwood etc... And it happened and now I am supposed to believe that they are going to sign Ibra or Fabiano and Honda ??? Bollox to that these pr!cks are taking us for a ride again we will end up with nothing again unless its free , old or on loan.
