On a related (or unrelated) topic, Wolfsburg stunned Manchester City with a price tag of 50 million pounds for Edin Dzeko.

is this the everyday asking price or are they taking them for a ride as they know they are dirty rich?

one more question: can someone confirm that Roma is out of contract and not with us any longer? I remember that he signed a one-year contract but somehow I still saw his name mentioned as part of our new season's squad.

It's even the contrary ... Wolfsburg always said they don't want to sell the player. Dzeko had a 35M option to leave: no club tried to get him for that price. 2 weeks later, Manchester City comes with 40M, but there is no more option in his contract, and Wolfsburg refuses. I'd say it's quite logical ... Now, Wolfsburg knows that some club could be able to spend a lot of money for the player and they set an asking price, higher than what they asked previously, for him. This way, they can only win: 50M and as a consequence, money to complete/reinforce their team, or they keep their best striker.

Our players are still in holiday, I think we do not have a new season squad now. About Roma, as I saw in transfermark.de: http://www.transfermarkt.de/en/ac-ma.../verein_5.html The end of contract is unknown. IMO, there is chance that we have an option to renew it, but it is still early to do so. |

Here the situation: Dzeko signed contract with Wolfsburg until 2010 some years ago. In summer 2009, his all about he wants to go to Milan, but Milan can't provide asking 25 M. Then, Dzeko signes another contract with Wolfsburg until 2013, and by doing that he makes his price tag 30+ M. It's like he makes sure Milan won't buy him. That sounds stupid. But believe me, the man who's got that far starting from Bosnia isn't stupid at all. There must be something about that contract that makes him available to Milan. Also, they've rejected 40 M from City, now the price is 50 M, well they'll surely reject that also, that's all bull****. It's like they don't want to sell him for any price and he's raring to go. |

Wolfsburg do not want just money because they are not poor and in a ambitious plan. However, they like a lot of money. That's economic.
They are not the right one to negotiate with current Milan. Let's Man City do it. It will be fun if City would be as strong as Chelsea, they are not very different. After World Cup, there will be more serious news for discussing. |

Actually, now I tend to believe Dzeko is going to stay at Wolfsburg. It's obvious they are not planning to sell him (unless somebody goes crazy with an offer), and they are already improving their horrendous defence - they bought Friedrich, and Kjaer from Palermo.

I think last year, some people began to think that Berlu and Galli will not be spending money till all the old guards are gone. Which is stupid since the team will struggle.... A year has passed and some of those old guards are gone, Dida and Favalli, their replacements, a loan deal for Amelia(while selling Stoari-best keeper in Serie A in 09-10 for 4.5M), and Yepes(34 yrs old) to replace Favalli. Instead of recalling Polashi or signing a striker, they extend the contract of Pippo for another year.
NOw they are willing to sell Oddo, Kala, Janku and even Gattuso. All players whom did not play much in the 09-10 season due to injuries or just pure crap. Then instead of working hard on packaging these players, they complain about the players not wanting to leave and want to stay and prove themselves.... Which are all BS, since no real teams actually want them, and if a team do, that team actually want Milan to pay for part of their salaries. That seems to be fair from my book, since the players that are on the transfer market are really crap. Point is that by 2011 summer, almost all the bad contracts will be gone, Milan will then need 6-7 ready players to fill as those players who stayed will be a year older. The end of the tunnel is as dark as it comes. Really don't know how people like Berlu and Galli get to where they are today with no hindsight. |

Muppets http://www.football-italia.net/jul04v.html .....so 7.5 million a year for 4 years is way out of our budget great.
So far this mercate we have got the following statements. 1)A big star transfer will arrive 2) No one will arrive 3) We have 30 million to spend , 20 for first team , 10 for youth 4)We have no money 5)We will have to sell to buy (we sell Storari for 4.5 million...still have no money) 6)We have to get rid of a couple of last years squad to bring in new players...Dida , Favalli , Storari , Mancini gone still no room for signing actual good players players....Yepes and Amelia is a cop out just cos they were free 7)We cannot afford any big signings (big semmingly being 7 million +. 8)We are not in transition and will remain the same as last year with the squad that fought for the scuddetto right until the end....didnt realise that the season ended on week 29. 9)We won trophies right up until 2008.....you see this crap no we didnt our last trophy was December 2007. The crap that comes out of there mouths....now I know some may say its tactical so teams will not screw us finacially , but I cannot believe it when it comes to B&G they are even lying about the history of the club now. I never buy that crap when a team GM or Pres or Manager say they team is fine...and does not need new players.....as a way to drive down the prices on their targets. Since if that's really the case, they would not be calling TEAM B and asking them for one of their players.
I mean, lets say I am the manager or GM or Pres of Pool. B & G just said Milan is fine and no need to get new players as a way to drive targets' values down.... then a week later they called me and asked if I would sell Torres(listed at 40mil) to them for 20mil, b/c they don't need Torres as their team is perfect....I will tell them to F OFF, right away. IF you really don't need something, why go shopping? I know Juve failed big time last year, but at least we see their GM/Pres are working on improving their team instead of stating their team is fine....... |

They will never deal with us face 2 face so they are happy finishing 3rd and getting to the CL league knockout stage without having to spend this will not happen this year as I think that we will find it very hard in Seri A and CL.You see how tired our team gets Pirlo Ambro Nesta key areas Pato is made of glass Hunter + Pippo cannot Score Borri is a 10 - 15 goal a season man.Dinho tires aswell alot in games after 60 minutes. And then We have Gatusso Kala Oddo Bonera Janku who are useless and Seedorf who can only manage 20 minutes at the end of a games....And we dont need a few new players B.S.
I think we have honestly maybe 7 usefull outfield players this season and there is ? over some of them. Its really frustrating as with the 6 or 7 contracts ending next year I think that only Kala Oddo and Janku will be gone , and then probably we will operate with a squad of 23 or 24 players and will be told it is enough to compete. They'll be happy 3 less wage bills. |

Thats why it was a smart decision to stop spending money on AC MILAN products after the sale of Kaka. I think if you are true Milan fans, you should stop it too. Then it will show Berlu that he sucks....
I really hope Berlu sells Milan to just someone who cares and is willing to spend for the good of the club. |
