So does anyone know much about Luca Santanocito? Can't say I've ever seen him.
I've read rumours on goal.com and milannews that Robinho could be a possible replacement for Dinho. I wonder about how good Robinho would be for us, but at the same time I think it's a deal worth doing if possible. The potential of Robinho partnering with Pato sounds devastating and he will work more for the team than Dinho. That would mean we lose our EU spot though if I'm correct, meaning no Jucilei (no big problem for me if we get Asamoah). Quote:
Asamoah since breaking into Serie A for Udinese has always played as a deep CM who drives forward when attacking. Essentially whilst I say I'd like him to play DM, more specifically I'd want him to offer protection to the defence but also link the defence to attack, playing to a role closer to Sweinsteiger for Germany (and Bayern) than similar to what we expect from Ambro. Berlu wants Galli to do something....But then Berlu needs to say here Galli go buy some new players heres the money , and bad Galli has been in the past 5 years he really can't do anything without money.
Eder is a no go says Galliani , Jucilei who is a good player with lots of potential and isnt expensive isnt even being looked at.Honda is too expensive they could of got Ibra for 7.5 million a year for 4 years too much they said....A lack of signings isnt whats bothering me , whats bothering me is the fact that there is no plan no sign of effort just talk about how great we WERE in the past.....Italy were great in 2006 but they will not playing in a WC final on Sunday so what does the past matter. Allegris doesnt know if Dinho Huntelaar Oddo Gattusso Janku Kala Adiyiah or Onyewu will be there , how can he plan for anything ....and Im guessing he knows that there will be no new players.Taking over the reigns of AC Milan may not be the best thing for an up and coming manager. Everyone is looking for the same thing and investment of about 50 million but selling Oddo Kala Janku Rino and Huntelaar would account for half of that .Get 4 players for about 10-13 million if they are good enough take Caceres on a loan with a view to buy. But who knows what will happen but I think we all have an idea. Last edited by Jay Crisp; 08-07-2010 at 04:24. |

We have next to no budget at all (even though Berlu is in the top 10 richest in Europe) and will sign 1 player MGT want it to be Ledesma who they will bid 6 or 7 million for (is that enough ??) he will play in Pirlos role and Pirlo will move up behind the front 2 as a trequartista...Does this mean Dinho is out ?? if Dinho gets sold for say 15 million and his 9 million wages and the 4.5 of Storari and the money for Oliveira from Zaragoza and Fly Emirates money that will be about 30 - 40 million. And they only plan on spending 6 on Ledesma.
There are the most fuked up bunch of ba$tards , I never thought that they pocket the money but you have to wonder. |

I like ACM and the all-rounded forward more, but good fullbacks are very hard to find these day ![]() Quote:
Robinho has Spainish as second nationality, you only need 3 years in Spain to obtain one. So Spain is a good place to buy ![]() double-checked: http://www.transfermarkt.de/en/robin...ler_15511.html Last edited by Aficio; 08-07-2010 at 04:54. |

Lotito wants 7 million for Ledesma a figure Milan are willing to pay but only if Gattusso gets sold.
AC Milan have 100% become a small club I not talking smaller Im talking small .Madrid Barca Inter Chelsea Bayern are big clubs who spend alot and buy great players , then you have second level clubs like Lyon Arsenal Porto etc.. who spend money to imrove there squads....Genoa Tottenham Napoli Benfica are outspending Milan , and while I know that spending does not guarantee success HOW THE F**K HAVE WE BECOME A CLUB THAT HAS TO SELL PLAYERS TO BUY A 7 MILLION GOOD PLAYER NOT GREAT ONLY GOOD. We need to sell Gattusso for Ledesma we get about 10 million a year from Emirates (is that correct) and we got 4.5 million for Storari.Where is that money gone really ??? I give up , I mean Galli says they want to sign Ledesma lotito wants 7 million...its now 12:40 here I bet you that by 16:00 GMT that Galli will say something about cooling the link . How can we cut spending when WE ARE SPENDING NOTHING http://www.goal.com/en/news/11/trans...-spending-cuts |

Lazio and Palermo fights for Hernanes. Lazio wants Kevin-Prince Boateng. One of the players who impressed me during the WC.
if we continue to play with 4-2-3-1, i'd rather to take Honda/Oezil/Boateng and Thomas Muller from Bayern. Pato on the left performs better, Muller is amazing player, Germany missed him so much during the semi final, very important for them, both defensively and offensively. Frederich and Kjaer will form a very good CB pair together, Wolsburg finally had a nice CB pair. Arsenal signed Koscielny, very good CB.Thats what they need. Arsenal should improve on team defence, defence and destroying rival's game. Otherwise The scudetto is a dream for them... City is doing great job, Boateng, Silva and Yaya Toure.they are overpaying much Though. Great signings. i dont rate Boateng much after i saw him on WC. Good player but never close World class material... Asamoah costs much, i doubt if we can sign him. What about Khedira? He would be an upgrade to our midfielders. Basti is so unlikely... We need quality, young and world class signings...Not gambles or finished or ex champions... Robinho can make great contribution to us. All we need is a player like Honda or Ozil in midfield then a fighter in front of the defence with very good offensive skills such as Ledesma. Then focus on wing backs...Then we are set... |

13:10 My time brother....and we are facing a financial straighjacket Berlus own words.
He is right we have spent a wopping astronomical 61 million in the last 6 mercatos Summer and Winter not including this summer so we have not been overspending and in that time we have sold about 115 million worth of players. Last edited by Jay Crisp; 08-07-2010 at 07:17. |

Stolen money ? If I did the right translation, Berlu said he has given money to the club for years but it's Galliani who didn't use it properly (I summarize) ?

Financial straightjacket that there is no money will be no money and we will be trying to swap players instead....the one he wants is to swap Hunter for Podolski , Hunter will not go to koln and Podolski is not good at club level.

The size of the club is determined by its success. Not its budget. That is why so many players passed over Man City (Kaka, for one) and only when they got Mancini as their manager, did anyone actually take them seriously.
Clearly because of the political realities surrounding Berlusconi, it seems pretty clear that we are not going to be spending. I think its funny that we want a youth program like Barca's, but are not ready to go through the pain of that transition. Frankly, I like seeing more and more young names come to us, while not guarentees, I would love to see more players like Abate, Antonini, and Borriello playing for us. Milan is a big club, its a team that makes quite a bit of money (top 10 in revenue) and other clubs aren't stupid. Milan might have a tighter budget, but they still have some money. I don't see the point of Galliani to pay over-the-top prices for players that have the post-World Cup added price. Furthermore, if clubs want to see us as being on a smaller budget, that puts us in a better advantage. Its the same negotiation skills that merchants use in bazaars and markets in the developing world. I agree with the frustration over Milan's "revolution" always being "next year." However, 2011 really is that year. That is when those contracts we are stuck with actually expire. It seems obvious we're trying to move Kaladze, Oddo, and Janku but we can't. Fine, they'll be gone next year. Dida and Favalli are gone, and I don't see us resigning the terrible trio. Pippo still has some worth to him, those goals two seasons ago were great, and while he frustrated me this season, I have learned not to doubt him. With Ronaldinho, Pato, and Pirlo; Milan still has that bit of star quality. What we were missing last year was stability in the back (injury wise) and the depth that could carry us through tough spots. Keeping Ambro, Zambro, Seedorf, Nesta, and the like aren't the problem, it's that we are relying on them as much as we are. Games like the Chievo game where Seedorf came up big, show that these players are still valuable. Scholes, Giggs, and Van der Saar provide that quality for Man Utd, for instance, the critical element behind their longevity is the reliability of their back-ups. We are going to focus on youth, that's clearly the case. Last year and this year will be painful. Because we're going through transition, does anyone remember the dark times of Barca before Ronaldinho came? I do. Plus, I don't see why you guys think debt is so awesome. Barca just had trouble paying for their players wages. Taking a loan out to pay wages, simple wages. So, no, I don't want that model. If it takes a few years of pain to get back to being healthy on all levels, then I don't care. You can't run a team properly without financial stability, the German clubs are strong examples of that. While I am also frustrated at the lack of new players, I also understand the sort of tough position that the management finds themselves in, whether it was their fault or not is not the point, the fact is that they are trying to deal with it as well as possible. I mean, if we get a coach who has won Serie A coach of the year twice in a row, then grab a keeper on loan who might just be on poor form, and get an experienced CB who was one of Serie A's best CBs to provide us depth that killed us during our scudetto push, I don't see what is the problem considering that it is still July. If a new stimulus is all it took to get Ronaldinho from dead-weight, to one of the major protagonists of last season, I think that Milan is looking on path for a strong foundation. I'm looking forward to more youth injected in, especially as they've been doing so well. I just don't know why we have to continuously yell and scream about the mess Milan is in. It is, but I think the bigger question is where this club is going long-term, rather than next month. I don't know why we are taking the word of goal.com and others. I just see what is happening, and so far we have made a few smart moves, and I think we'll be seeing what happens. I just don't know why some random swap deals and made-up theories over Milan's deep strategy is being put forward by bored journalists, and we seem to love taking the bait and believing the worst case scenario. Until critical injuries, Milan was actually going after the scudetto. I'm sorry, its pretty clear that the problems are not as deep as many here think. That's the difference between us and Man City. |
