What confuses me is if NOT ONE SINGLE TEAM OFFERED FOR ODDO when he was cheap how will signing him to an extra year making a million more expensive ....have him sold any easier.

We knew we needed new blood and said last summer if nothing happens mercato wise it will be bad for the future looking even worse this year ...Check

Using youth is good its great but how many of these guys are they thinking will become good players ??? all the Barca guys , Rooney , Pato , Fabregas and all othere Arsenal guys were getting 7-10 games a season at 16 & 17 ad were regular at 19 because they were/are very good players.

Our youth guys are all 19 & 20 and have never played if they were good and really promising they would of got game time , but between Zigini Verdi De Vito and Strasser Albertrazzi Adiyiah (the guys that we think could step up) they have played what about 30 mins...Im not saying they are bad but i dont think they are very good either.

I have this feeling that we will sign Ibra...Barcelona names his price at 35 mil wich is fair for a player of his quality.He is very marketable so I believe that berlu won`t have problem spending that money on him.

They said in the beginning that we have 20 mil to spend. 12 mil from hunter sale and 4 from Storari is enough to get him here.

Ibra for 35m is expensive imo for a forward who will be 29 in the new season. In the past I wouldn't have questioned the move, but right now it seems a crazy move given our money troubles and our needs in other areas of the squad.

Sakho again linked with Milan and Inter according to Milannews, so maybe something to be excited about.

At the current state of Milan, I think it is stupid to splash anything over 30mil on any players even if tat guy is Messi. Since there r just too many holes to fill. Galli should really sign players who are around 10mil max, that way he can fill two to three holes in this Summer and again next summer.

Guys I would like to see and can really come for cheap are Santacroce, Jucilei,Tulio Rommedehl, Santon, M Richards and that N. Korean striker. If Milan managed to sell Hunter and Dinho, then sign Honda and someone like Forlan.

As it stands i really don't think Milan will be doing any business until August when there generally is more value in the market the only exception being a player which is milan no 1 priority on the transfer list possibly ibra who knows. These rumours generally never seem to pan out we must of been linked to over 35 players so far this summer so far the only recruits are amelia yepes and santonocito 2 which came as complete surprises to me as the rumours only surfaced about them when milan had completed the deals. To assume that ibra and co are realistic transfer options will only break you heart especially with a financial monster which is mancini man city buying anyone and everyone man city would probably jump at the opportunity to bring in ibra if he became available.

In any case i would rather assume that Galliani priority is defence and midfield rather than another striker we should even attempt a move for ibra unless we are able to sought out the basic problem occurred in the fullback positions in particular the rb position and as for the midfield please can have a alternative to seedorf we were lucky he stayed injury free and in form last season. If there is a budget available to buy players are first two objectives should be honda and van der wiel than if we have any cash left over sakho or ranocchia should be a priority. My personal view is we should only seek out a new striker if are able to get rid of klaas and borriello for a healthy amount otherwise we will just be encouraging another debt crisis and a team which is top heavy.

^ Salcido was amazing this WC. He made so many attacking runs. Shifting Antonini to right to accommodate Salcido would be nice. That way, we will have two attacking full-backs, a treat for the sore eyes.

They are already getting Shaq, Mike Miller and Raja Bell. That's a pretty decent supporting cast right there and they are still not done. I pray to God my Lakers do something else to improve their bench and beat this team of ring chasers.

It's better the basketball fans open a special thread for basketball. As bad as our mercato I still like milan football mercato much more than anything about basketball.

I agree. And I particularly don't want to see any discussion on that in our Milan forum, as I am from Cleveland.

I may be mistaken, but if Oddo has signed an extension i think i read that he will be taking 1.5 million til 2012 instead of 4 million. Still too much... What is Galliani thinking. There is a good article on milannews.it about galliani
