Shaktar have bid the £20 million that Man City want for Robinho.I hope he turns them down and comes to Milan instead I really do , but if they already bid the £20 million actually about 23 million euro then Berlu Galli Braida would want to get there thumbs outta there ass's.

If I remember correctly, he was midfielder in that game. 6:0 under Cesare Maldini? Then, he was definitely in center of midfield with Giunti, with Gattuso and Serginho on the sides. Maldini was LB in that match, if I remember correctly. Btw Serginho put one of the best performances I've ever seen in Milan's shirt.

But I agree with you Kaladze, though bought as a DM/CB, was a hell of LB, the first CL won under Ancelotti he was definitely the best left back in CL that season. I still remember how impressive he was against Real at San Siro (1:0), he ate Figo alive and still had the time to always be at hand in attack.

Regarding Papasthatopulous, didn't he played RCB/RB in 3-4-3 in Genoa? I've heard that he's very good on the side, so Allegri might use him on RB as he loves to play one side back who's really good defensively.

Robinho won't come here as he's too similar to Ronaldinho and it would be STUPID to sell a player of Ronaldinho's class to buy a player similar to him (similar position).

For Dzeko, he says that he's "bombed" with offers but Wolfsburg don't want to cut the price. Anyway, there no truth in 7 days ultimatum for Milan to make an offer, nobody wants to make an offer because the price is high, and Dzeko knows that.

Guess we finally have the Papas-pipi-the-lolos. Havent watched him as much. Was watching some of his videos when he played for Geneoa. He s impressive. Does any one know if he can be used in as a FB or he s only a good CB??? The other good thing he s only 22, so he s one for the future and plus we didnt have to waste our non EU spot on a defender except maybe we ve had to compromise on the ownwership of some of our young lads. In a way its good for both the players and Milan, so we can find out if these guys really deserve to play with Milan. So now our defensive issues seem to be balanced. Now i hope we can sign one good midfielder and offload some of our old guards and i think our summer mercato wud be a decent one.

The impression I get with Di Gennaro in what's stopping him becoming a really good player isn't talent imo, but rather motivation. In recent years, young players are becoming less interested as footballers and more interested in leading a flash celebrity lifestyle. My personal feelings are Di Gennaro, whilst a big talent, lacks the motivation to really break through and reach his potential. I also believe that's one reason (not the only reason though) Borriello hasn't ever been as good as he could have been (you just need to look at his touches during matches to see he has talent).

DZEKO, HONDA, Van der Wiel are not BIG NAMES,, but 3 guys who could seriously bring Milan back to their best....

Now add Rannochia, Papastathopoulos, and maybe another midfielder to replace Gattuso.... then we really have a squad...an impressive squad....
The names you mentioned there aren't massive names on par with Ronaldo and Kaka, but these guys are a massive demand. Dzeko's one of the most sought after players in the world and the asking price is as much as what Barca apparently want for Ibra.

Honda and Van Der Wiel are also wanted by many clubs and their prices have risen a lot during the world cup. Both are good players and could play an important part in Milan, but let's face it, we're not in a state to compete financially against many clubs.

However, we shouldn't be disheartened with names like Jucilei and Papastathopoulos (I think I might just refer to him as Sokratis lol). These guys are at a good age to come into our squad and mature into important players, and whilst not well known right now, are quite evidently talented. Very much like Pirlo, Gattuso, Kaladze and Kaka (to name just a few), these guys could grow into the stars we desire.

Every squad needs star players that can elevate the team in hard times, but in the current football environment, every squad must be complete.

Sokratis is also capable of pushing forward down the right as he has decent ball control and likes to drive forward (a bit like Thiago Silva).

Robinho as a replacement for Dinho makes a lot of sense. One is past his peak and ageing, and while he can play an important role as an individual, his lack of mobility and defensive effort is a problem for the team.

Robinho has shown he follows instructions to help out defensively and has impressed a lot this year in Santos and for Brazil, with both his movement, ability to run at opponents and goals. At 26, he could play for Milan for another few seasons at the very top, by which time hopefully Verdi will be ready to take a step into the first team.

Wolsburg just finalized the capture of Mario Mandzukic for 9 mil euro,Dinamo Zabreg player(very talented player). He is a direct replacement for Dzeko. Does this mean that they are set to sell Dzeko to the highest bider???!!

Presumably there's some truth to it as it's everywhere this morning. Basically as part of the deal Genoa want the three youngsters on co-ownership. Oduamadi is happy to leave on co-ownership, while Strasser is considering his options. Albertazzi, meanwhile, has apparently rejected the move, wanting to prove himself at Milan.

What this means is if this is the case, then we have to renegotiate others into the deal, with Oddo, Janku and Kaladze all being considered, though the latter two are very unlikely to go.

imo, the best we can get from this situation is Oduamadi going on co-ownership along with Oddo and maybe another youth on co-ownership like Schenetti, Scampini or Novinic. I do want us to keep Albertazzi and Strasser as I think they could be useful in the future.

guys i'll say it one more time, sokratis cannot play as a fb at any case, maybe he can play at a 3-4-3 as the right/left defender center..but he has no technique with the ball down, not enough at least,he cannot run with the ball neither cross..and he can hardly play as a dmc as he is too defensive type, the guy is a pure stopper..

They said just about the same thing when Wolfsburg bought Obafemi Martins last year, didn't they?

Nalx, yup they did, that could just as well mean they are letting go of Misimovic.

Seems like Sokratis Papa is going to be here for the 4.5m euro (Storari's money) and the co-ownership of Strasser, Albertazzi and Oduamendi. Nothing is mentioned of us getting the three Genoa youngsters on co-ownership too. Just when I thought the management did a good move getting a player in the right age, they go and do something stupid like giving those players on co-ownership, who will eventually be bought by us for alot more in the future (Boriello, Abate).

It also is official that Milan have bought 3 youngsters from Inter (I think for 7m euro). Fossatti (born in 1992) is one of them.

Nalx cmon man, you know better that Martins is no replacement for Dzeko, if he did replace someone that it would have to be Grafite. On the other hand Mandukic is exactly the Dzeko type of player..just a little bit less of a targetman that Dzeko is. But great technique and finishing with Baloteli temper

I have not seen much of Papa and the Genoa games I have seen I don't recall him , but he impressed me at the WC and is young but looks and plays very mature.I do not think Albertrazzi and Strasser should be included as co-ownership in the deal that will be a mistake.

Are Man City mad £30 million for Balotelli sure he is a raw talent and has bags of untapped talent but £30 million whatever it is in euros thats too much , Inter plan to replace him with Rossi aswell apparently.

Yeah, I know that too buddy. It's just that I no longer take this kind of news as a favorable sign that Dzeko is getting closer to us or something. Money talks man, and much as he Milan, if Papi refuses to dig into his pocket there's no way we're gonna get him.

Anyway, what's the latest news about Hernanes. The last time I read that Villareal offered 11 millions and that's the best offer Sao Pauolo received as yet. What I'm asking is 1) how come his price drop significantly compared to last season? did he get injured much or his performance drop or something? then 2) how come no big clubs are reported to after him nowadays when last year clubs like milan and barcelona were constantly linked with him?
