Geo can you please post a source to confirm this?

I've read that Zigoni, Strasser and Oduamendi's co-ownership deals came at the expense of SOkratis... if we get these other 3 players on co-ownership too, not bad at all...the deal suddenly doesn't look as bad as first thought.... but still I'd like to know the truth of whats going on first...

On this article, they say that Genoa and Milan want to make a "big trade" of co-ownerships (no link with Sokratis): Albertazzi, Zigoni, Oduamadi, Legati, Polenta, Boakye and Ragusa are the players involved. It seems that Zigoni doesn't want to accept and Albertazzi isn't convinced. So for moment, nothing done.

Geo, it's not Zigoni but Strasser (who is IMO the most ready for Serie A from our bunch of youth). The deal seems to be all those 3 + 4.5m euro to get Sokratis..mentions nothing about the three Genoa youngsters.

But why would they go to Genoa ? Selling 50% of their contract doesn't mean sending the players in the other club ...
And regarding the various articles about all "that" (Sokratis, co-ownerships), I think we should wait a little time because there are very contradictory things in this story depending on the sources. Let's wait for the official comments ?

Anyway, it's official: Filkor, Daminuta and Fossati are Milan players.

Normally the smaller club use the player, not the bigger one (even AC Milan are now not as big as before) that's why the three players should normally play for Genoa, not AC Milan. Why should we sell our half of contract our young players if we can play him (if the players are ready to play for Milan)? It is very weird.

There are two possibilities:
- we desperately need money, so we want to sell half of their contracts (but still keeping them)
- we don't think they're good enough, so we want them to gain some experience elsewhere

The question is: do these young players have any chance to play for the first team of either Milan and Genoa ? I mean, if they don't have the required level for our first team, they won't play in the first team of Genoa, and vice-versa, it's not like if there was a big difference of level between both teams ...

There is big difference between Genoa and Milan. With even Milan current condition, no way Genoa is as same level with Milan with respect of the quality of the first team player (read: qualification for playing in the first team).

That's why the youth players of owned by two clubs should go to the smaller club which in this case are Genoa.

You didn't get my point or I explained it in a bad way: the difference of level between Milan and Genoa isn't that big compared to Milan and a Serie B team for example ? Genoa is a good mid-table team, even there, it will be hard for these young players to have a chance in first team. The best would have been to send them on loan or co-own them with a team coming from Serie B (more chance to play + Serie A).

Ok, I got it now. Of course it will be very hard for our youth players. Even in Serie B they will also face tough competition just to have chance to play there. But we also must consider the ability and talent of the players. Some (but not many) can feature with small Serie A clubs. First normally they will be subs and then step in to the starting line-up like our right fullback that went to Empoli if I remember correctly (not Nicola Pozzi but the other guy who needed not so long time to be Empoli first-team player).

If it is true, it is better for Milan. I still think that 4.5 M plus 3 half of contracts of our player especially Albertazzi are too much.

Marzoratti is doing well with Cagliari. Prefer him to oddo & zambrotta.

The players from what I know will stay with Milan, but Genoa will get half shares in them.

Only the other week there were reports we wouldn't be done half-shares anymore, and the first deal since then and we do 3 at the same time.

Verdi has also been promoted so we have some hope and Romagnoli is also too old for youth team so he may be promoted instead of Albertazzi who may go on loan.

did anyone watch italia vs portugal? how did Albertazzi play... considering they lost
