i wish if we could make 1 huge signing it has to be ozil , it would be perfect for allegri's system , hes rated at 20 - 25 million and 21 and could have the midfield rebuilt around him that would be berlu's ( great champion ) forget dzeko , ibra , our midfield is trash and sell huntelaar , id rather have zigoni as our 4th striker or verdi or adiyah

Gabriel, about Verdi, how old is he ? I mean, how old was he during this season ? 16-17 ...

Do you know a lot of players who can, at this very young age, play in first team of a big team ?

I don't ...

PS: The injuries of Beckham and Pato at the same time were during the worst part of our championship, so like with Albertazzi at the end of the season in defence, it would have been totally against logics to launch them there ... If they are to play in first team, I think putting them during the whole season (no Primavera game) like it should be done this year from what can be read is the solution, they need to live the whole season with everybody to become a real part of the team and not just a backup here and there when everyone is injured.

it would be close to impossible. too many teams are after him.
to be honest the only viable replacement for ronaldinho, is robinho. cheap, and probably in the form of his life.

Disagree with you there.

Pato broke in at 18, when Gila was not scoring, and R99 getting injured. You didn't see Seedorf or Ambro switching to striker to partner Pippo, but rather Pato became a starter the moment he became an official Milan player. Pato signed a professional contract in Nov and only trained with the club for a month or so before his debut.

Rooney broke in with Everton at 17 and I think his second was against Arsenal(league leader at that time when the game was tied 1-1) and scored the game winner.

Mancheda, two seasons ago scored two goals for ManU, that pretty much won them the EPL, as ManU at that time was in a really really bad state where they were losing pts in the league.

The Twins, esp., Rafael debuted for ManU in a CL knockout game.

Santon also broke into the Inter squad at 18 or 19.
Mario debuted at 17 or 18.

Cesc became a starter at Arsenal at 17 or 18 while playing mainly as a sub or in the reserve games.

Point is that, if the player is talented enough, they will be playing in the first team even if they are being called up during injury crisis.

Now I am not saying Verdi, Albertazzi and others won't make it, they could very well be the next Figo, Nesta and Cesc, but until they get a chance-even minutes with the other first team players, they will never make it. Put it this way, would you rather play Albertazzi and Verdi, 5-10 minutes here and there in the first team with normal first team players along with playing Reserve games for a season or just let them jump into the first team with other players with very minimum or no first grade exp.

Ozil had one good season and a good WC. Although I think he is the real deal but he just might be another Podolski and Klose, average for Clubs but great for Nationals.

Ozil will be a free transfer next summer so Werder have to sell now to make any money from him. Not that it would make much of a difference to us, but this factor could lower the price considerably.

Eduardo seems like he could leave Arsenal for just £6 million, for that price i think we should make a bid!

Another player i'd like to see us at least show interest in is Anthony Annan of Ghana. He was really good in the world cup and you can easily see why he's likened to Essien. He plays for Rosenborg at the moment, but i'd have thought a bid of around £6-8 million would be enough. His athleticism would add some much needed bite to our midfield.

If Real manages to get Maicon, how much do you guys think Ramos will cost? As Berlu kept saying Ramos is great and is an admirer, do you think he will submit a bid?

They won't sell him. I think they'll move Ramos to CB if they get Maicon.

If for whatever reason they did sell Ramos, i would imagine Berlusconi would have to find 35 million minimum.

Look at the names of these players: they're all growing stars and they will probably be the biggest stars of football of the coming decade ...
All players can't make it at 16 or 17, all won't become great, but if these players can at least be good squad players, it will already be interesting.

Also, some players need more time to mature, that doesn't mean they will not be good or better ... like you said in the last paragraph.

Agreed. He's not the kind of player I would break our wage structure for.

Now its 5:00pm in Italia and ZIP.....

Ive been reading all our links and story's this afternoon , and the main one's lately is that Dzeko is out of our price range no problem for me there i would love him but we cannot afford him.
Other players were Pedro Leon Fabiano Robinho Ibra Podolski again all too expensive I understand that too disappointing but whatever. Then the same thing is written after each that we don't have that much money to sign these guy's so Milan mgt Galliani Braida etc.. are looking elsewhere I really hope there is an elsewhere and that they have some sort of plan .I do think a striker mid and defender will arrive, But there is this burning feeling that no1 will a fear if you will.

If Dinho goes and no1 is brought in or only a player for a low fee or for free or on loan then we could and probably will be in serious trouble .He scored quite a few last season and created over 20 and if he goes thats almost 35 goals gone as no1 else not even Pirlo in an advanced role will create that.

Just a fear with our mgt you know what I mean , Id be well well happy now with Dinho going Hunter going and getting Dzeko and V.D.Vaart (i know i know) but if Dinho goes and no1 of a similar ability comes in I wouldn't want to be Galli.....I do have faith for awhile at least.
