I don't know what is this "buzz" about Papa managing to mark Messi ... Seriously, it's not one game that should lead us to the statement that Papa is a great player (or the contrary). How was he during the whole season ?

Oddo marked Ronaldo against Manchester in 2007: is Oddo a great player ? One of the defenders of Chelsea (Bosingwa) managed to mark Messi in the Barcelona-Chelsea game of 2 years ago, is Bosingwa a great player ?

I'm optimistic about Sokratis after reading many posts and articles about him, but let's not kid ourselves by judging him only on one game, and furthermore a game with his NT during a WC, which is very different (as well as Messi is a very different player with his NT, I even think they should try to play without him).

Some of the words and ideas of Allegri please me (he has a press conference):
- he wants a balanced team (which means no more player walking and watching his partners)
- it seems that if Ronaldinho stays, he won't let him do what he wants (no more tactics relying only on Ronaldinho, he will have to adapt to the team, and not the contrary) and will force him to have a good physical condition
- likes playing with 2 strikers
- seems he will try to use the young players too
- he doesn't put too much pressure on Pato's shoulders as he said the guy is amazing but he's still young and needs to mature (it's a change, for once, Pato isn't introduced as our "savior")
- said he will bring various tactics compared to the ones (well, the "s" of "ones" isn't needed) of last year

Oh, and he sent a small message to Berlusconi

: "It's obvious that the team, the ideas will be mines. I am the coach."

I'm French, yes, but the Italian language is similar to the French one (actually, only sometimes

), I read and read and read a lot on Italian websites, it's a way to learn, and I sometimes use a translator for one word here and there. So I'm able to read more or less Italian, but without real lessons, it's still very difficult to make my own sentences and have a proper discussion in Italian (I know the basics). Translating Italian in English is a good way to work both languages IMO ...
