I actually love that Dzeko is staying at Wolfsburg, I think we'll finally move for him next year when we get rid of players whose contract expires and their salaries...

I really don't understand some people's logic when it comes to the Dzeko case.... I'm confused. The dude is not staying there, he's leaving for sure. Leaving to where? I don't know, but we all know his preference.

Mediaset keeps reporting that Hunter will be sold and Milan have lowered their demands to 12.5million (knowing Galliani, that would be sac-religious to him). As soon as he's sold, Milan will 'shock the market' with a signing.

Silly season Warro calls it. Silly season.

****ing management

How do you know Dzeko is leaving for sure? He says he only wants to go to Milan. Milan can't afford him. Wolfsburg says they won't accept any offer. Doesn't sound like a sure thing to me.

By the way, RossoneriBlog is reporting that the Galaxy are offering Landon Donovan for Ronaldinho. I'm wondering where they dug that one up.

Usually, I would have laughed at these reports... But these days you're never sure what is happening in Galliani's head...

So we have offer's for 2 of our player's and a third is imminent...Even worse than and more ridiculous than any of our supposed links , offer 1 Landon Donovan swap for Ronaldinho yes the 2 time world player of the year is only worth as much as the guy with the worlds biggest forehead.
Liverpool want Hunter but only on loan...not going to happen.
And Aston Villa will bid 4 million for Flamini , thats ridiculous aswell and Galli with not go for it and for once I agree with him.

In no universe are Huntelaar Ronaldinho and Flamini only worth Landon Donovan and 4 million could you imagine.

I'm pretty sure nobody in here can answer this kind of question properly. Nobody in here know all the numbers in our financials so it's a waste of time even trying. Anyway, splitting our costs in six (transfers, wages, Milan lab, office staff, travel and rent of San Siro) is definitely too simple.

I'm sure Berlusconi have more control over how much money he's put into the Milan system than any of us. If the money are used right, well that is totally another thing...

Babel for Huntelaar. What a joke. How's that helping us? Huntelaar have said he wants to stay, so if selling him doesn't result in us getting Dzeko then I'd say we should keep him.

Or a straight swap with Torres...?

But a lot of those money are written off as ENTERTAINMENT for Berlu.
Honestly, even if Berlu did spent all that money over the past 6 seasons, it was still not as much as those REAL BIG CLUBS/CHAMPION CLUBS.

Ok... I have no comment to that. Maybe you know something that I don't.

So? I've never expected Berlusconi to spend as much as Real Madrid, Barcelona, Chelsea, Manchester City and others because I really don't think it's necessary (like a lot of others in here). I think we could be just fine with a lot less spent than them if we just spent it right.

On today's market, spending right money means actually spending money and gambling on players.

I am not just talking about transfer fees, but also the overall spending of the club.
What puzzles me the most is how Milan is always a Top Ten Clubs in terms of revenue but manage to sell its star to balance the book. Thats to me is a poorly run club. Clubs like Chelsea and Real are in debt b/c they over spent in transfer fee, can't fault on MGT as they knew they would be in debt. While Man U and Pool are in debt b/c they need to pay interest for Bank Loan(due to owner), can't fault the MGT again as they can't control how the owner finance the club. While I really don't see how Milan can be in debt if it was not for the mismanagement of giving out huge contracts to players who can't perform during the contractual terms. Oddo old contract was 4M after tax, which means about 7.8M before tax. If Oddo actually performs or at least a regular squad player, then thats justify but he is not and in reality far from it. Kala is another one and the list goes on and on. Now I am not sure if Berlu was the one who gave the go ahead on these contracts or was Galliani at fault, but whatever the case, they were just stupid.

At the current state of the game, I think players(esp attackers) as well as positions that required constant movement(FB, Mid and Wingers) will hit their peak at 29-30 and will began their downfall a year after that. Ofcourse there will always be exception, like Drogba, Nedved, Totti and Giggs.

To sums up, I think Milan should just stop getting players over 30, even if they are free like Yepes and just start getting quality youngsters even if he costs 25mil, as long as he is talented, can actually run(unlike Pirlo and Seedorf), and fits the Milan formation(unlike how Diego and Melo with Juve). That way the risk for those players to fail is less.

How often do these swap deals that are always reported in the press actually materialize? I always take them not with a grain of salt, but with a bag full.

Landon Donovan is better than you think. He's better than Beckham. Ask either Arsenal or Manchester United if his pace and creativity didn't give them fits when he was playing for Everton. And he's just as good playing as a trequartista as he is on the wing. So I hardly think it's fair to dismiss him as "the guy with the world's biggest forehead." He actually wouldn't be a bad acquisition for Milan as he could fit very well into either a 4-3-1-2 or a 4-3-3. But I think he'd rather go back to England than to play in Italy.

Funny, but last summer most of you would have traded "Fat Ronnie" for a used pair of Adidas. Most of you were desperate to get rid of him and considered him nothing more than excess baggage. Suddenly his being a two-time World Player of the Year is relevant again.

Huntelaar could go out on loan. It's unlikely, but I wouldn't discount the possibility completely. But it would only happen if Milan got another player on loan to replace him. For instance, if Robinho came on loan from Manchester City, I could see Huntelaar being loaned in the hopes that regular playing time might increase his market value.

I didnt say it would happen and he will not score 14 goals and create 15 no way no way.He is a good player not great and no replacement for Ronaldinho he was only okay with Everton usual performance from him he isnt a game changer. And his forehead is ridiculously huge.

Abbiati, Oddo and Zambrotta's contract extensions do not surprise me. They're Italian and in Oddo's case, more importantly, he's home grown. It might be cynical to think this is the main reason, but it's definitely a factor.

I'd still make a move for Krasic, he's there to be snapped up!
