I think kastriot referred to the contract of the player and not the transfer fee ...
If some club is ok to pay them 1.5M and if the player is interested, we should allow them to leave for free, this way, we would be sure to see them leave ...

If it's true, by knowing this kind of deal isn't what likes Berlusconi, I think we can say "bye bye Ronaldinho" ?

i honestly just want a player that will quickly grow into a fan favourite. a player that plays some attractive football. a little entertainment never hurts. our player now are players who are very good fundamentally. r80 tries his flashes every now and again, and pato only seems to just run past players.
i would love alexis sanchez on this team.

alexis sanchez is good but too expensive for us, for that price we can go for Ganso or Neymar..

I agree with Geo & kastriot. Geo - when he says if no one wants to buy them now, who will want them when they are 1 year older and even more useless than they are now? Kastriot - when he says we are not losing anything in this deal, but infact we have a chance to make money out of it.

I wasn't happy with these extensions but Kastriot made it clearer and he's right, we are not losing anything. Worst case scenario is relegate them to the 2nd team and buy other players..the only problem is, knowing our management, I can sooooo see them saying we will not replace them only if they leave. Hope I'm wrong.

Jucilei now seems set to stay in Corinthians. I wish we'd have bought him and let him stay there. His price will sky rocket now that he's in the Brazil squad. I also wish that the reason Milan have taken their eyes off him are because they are set on some other Non-EU player.

I for one don`t think that Jucilei playing for brazil NT is a bad thing. Cuz if you think a bit deeper we don`t buy young players who are absolutely unproven even though extremely talented (forget Cardacio,Viudez, etc. those were fishy deals. period).

If my memory serves me well I remember that both Kaka and Pato who were worldwide known talents we didn`t decide to by them until they proved themselves,and most importantly until the competition got mixed in the deals. We had serious competition from Real and Chelsea for Kaka and Inter for Pato. I think we actually had a deal with PSG to take Kaka on loan for a year than to come back to Milan. lucky for us he showed what his made of in the first training and he stayed.

this board is very high on jucelei when i see a lot of others think he is very much overated.

i dont know what is wrong with people in milanello. there must be something in the water. because, i will not lie, we have been competitive over the last couple to season, however we have not maintained it throughout the entire season since 06. we have our months in which we do good. being competitive doesnt mean we are going to win, it means that we compete. we need to win, and having the same group of guys but older doesnt make anymore closer to the trophy than we were the year before, expecially with juve and Inter getting better.

Given that he said "The aim is to reduce the gap with Inter, who are the standard bearers in Serie A." and Inter are getting stronger, we may challenge in a few games but that still means we are getting further from being able to 'win'.

Imho the aim should be to win, not just compete. That's chump talk and given the players we have it's not a surprise.

I think you are right. Sorry i misunderstood. I was dreaming of 1.5M.

Dont win the scudetto yet fight for it until the very end. That what we cant manage to do it since 2006. We cant show that determination, im not surprised why we cant show after i read Zambrotta's declarations. its weird, we dont need new players, we dont need to get stronger cuz we have Ronaldinho. Last year, we had him too. What did we won? 7-2 to United, 6-0 to İnter, it seems Zambrotta already forgot these moments. for not giving up early, we need at least 3-4quality signings, such as Honda, Jucilei e.t.c.

Galliani always says Mercato is closed or we are good as we are. Always we give up on scudetto's and CL's since then. since 2006, we are always like this...

4 years contract is too long for Ronaldinho, at most it should be 2 years. until 2012.

Ronaldinho, at Milan, they fought for the scudetto until the very last game, unfortunately inter didnt lose their last game, in CL, they eliminated Barcelona, Manchester United and Bayern yet again lost to city rivals İnter in final. But they are hopeful, next season biggest star will perform better and Milan will have a treble with him. Zambrotta thinks that he even doesnt have to play,cuz Ronaldinho plays for himself as well...He runs for Zambrotta as well...
