anyhow the latest news says that milan won't shop around but promote youngsters which is the only good news i have heard in days !

I would also take Ilsinho if he's free, he COULD be a big hit as he is a talented player.

reports say Genoa signed Rafinha from schalke! They are getting an excellent team! we must hope to make it into CL next season, as juve, roma, genoa are building a great team. add inter and we will have a difficult season to make it into top 4, and IMO 4th is not good enough as you have to play qualifying games.

where are Genoa getting all this money from?!!??!

And how many Non-Eu players are they getting ? Zuculini, Rafinha...

So far, they have spent 9M only. They will maybe add 10M to this amount but they are dealing the sale of Acquafresca and maybe Milanetto, so they could maybe earn something like 9M at the end, and so, they will have only spent 10M at the end of the mercato, which is a normal/decent budget of mercato.

There are also rumours of a trade between Mesto and Abate.
If that had to happen, do you realize that in 2 years, Genoa firstly made deals with Inter (looking like a little Inter) and now with us ? More importantly, in both cases, they managed to "force" Milan and Inter to give them some young players. The winner at the end should be Genoa (but I think they are doing long term transfers, because when they sold Thiago Motta and Milito, it hurted them at short term).

Zuculini has an Italian passport.

The Dzeko story isn't finished yet ... The guy said that his future will be known in 10 days and that everything is possible (staying or leaving).

I have no more hopes about this player, I actually hope he will stay in Wolfsburg one more year, because if he leaves for Manchester City, Madrid, or any other club with money, we won't be able to take him anymore in a near future.

Thanks! Haha I was thinking Oddo but seriously this summer if we can make some money off of Nesta this summer before he drops off. We could probably get 10$ million for him (I'm from America) and get enough money for a right back -Otamendi?

He listens to galliani too much. He said the same last year too.

OT: Rafinha is a weak def imo.

Otamendi was poor in wc, and I wouldn't waste our eu spot on him.
Selling Nesta even for 10 million is a mistake, a big mistake as wehn he plays he gives gaurantees that none of other defs do, even Silva. He is our def leader.

I just hope he doesn't turn into a Kaladze or Janku situation where we can't get rid of him.....

Geo, I don't think Milan has paid 4,5 for Sokratis, I think we have just traded the co-ownership of three of our youngsters. Also they have made 12.5m POUNDS for Veloso PLUS Zapater (who cost Genoa quite an amount last year).

If its true, then Genoa have slightly passed teams like Napoli/Fiorentina/Palermo in terms of quality. I am really enjoying that the Serie A is strengthening like this, the future looks bright. Serie A will lose the 4th CL spot for sure next year, but if we keep going like this we will return to the days of the 90's. Palermo also have a sick team with a few new arrivals. Napoli and Fiorentina are the only ones that disappointed me this transfer market (along with, ofcourse, Milan).

Coutinho is playing so good for Inter. Take a look at his goal against Panathinaikos... controls with his right and then shoots with left... he looks so good. At least Inter lost 3-2.

#3Forever, Nesta will never be like Kaladze or Janku. He is the best defender of all time and he is full of class. He will not hold Milan hostage, and he will be wanted by everyone even if he's 40. On top of that, his contract finishes next year I believe.

Nesta actually has pride, if he ever drops to Kala and Janku level, he will ask to leave Milan or retire.

As for Dzeko, as I said in my post earlier, Dzeko heading to Real makes sense since they only have 2 strikers or max 3 if u count CR7/9.
