We need more of that not less. I will be the first to admit my posts are short and often nothing new so more long posts and analysis the better.

i believe Bayern offered 20Mio for Van der Wiel, but i am not sre if they rejected that or they did not agree terms with the player but it just mens that this is his price.
as for Poli, i saw a few games of him last season but whenever that happened, i was impressed. Of all the midfielders we are linked to, i would rate him as 1st option (italian, young, talented, and overall midfielder)...the player i would least want to come is Elano...Boateng at the WC was really good but i admit i had never watched him play in the league so i have to say that is not enough to judge although i really liked the WC performances, so i would prefer Kwadwo Asamoah who is a definite talent, knows Italian football, is even younger, and apparently a nicer person as everybody hates Boateng's character

I've been out of the loop for a few weeks but this is what i've gathered...

Veloso went to Genoa

Milan fans still have NO IDEA if Ronaldinho will stay as he clearly does not fit into ANY system but the 4-3-3...

We still don't have a dominant forward....

Now, we're linked with OTAMENDI???

This guy Cost Argentina the World cup why in the hell would we buy him???

for 2m more, we can get Van Der Wiel or Coentrao...so this makes ZERO SENSE

I'm so frustrated with this transfer policy as it really does not make sense...

the team is still poor and Genoa, Roma, Inter, Juve all getting stronger..even Palermo...

this may be a bad year..but i'm almost rooting for it..because we need a revolution..a Moggi who comes in and tells Janku and Kaladze to SCRAM or they'll get wacked....

then buy some good players...

B&G need to go.end of story.

You see, I think we lack fitness, as players can't be as fit as they used to be. Physical strength on the other hand I classify differently and isn't something I view as hugely important.

You mention Arsenal's fitness, which I agree on. Arsenal aren't a physical side, but a very fit side which is what allows them to run a lot.

Fitness, IMO, at least enough to run 90 minutes. That's why I don't really like Özil, his stamina tends to drop quickly, but I opt for Honda.

We need an athletic, not just strength only, but strength do give an edge in some situations, such as pressing (DM) or shielding the ball (FW). Flamini sure runs a lot, chases the ball a lot but he lacks some muscle to win the ball and fouls opponent instead, watching he collided with Vidic for the ball was really painful for me, when Gattuso vs C.Ronaldo brought me joy .

What I want first is overall athletism, there are many players like that (Ex: in USA, England system), but among them, ones with better skills or strength could play at higher level and we should take them. K.P.Boateng may not be the player in my imagination, but he showed some good signs. 6-7M for him is OK, and if Genoa buys him (they can buy with cheaper price, and Portsmouth is relegated) then shares his co-ownership with us, it is a very good idea as it allows large error-margin, suits Milan's cautious approach.

Overall fitness is require for most players, but we need 1, 2 physical dominant one(s).

However, all are just rumours. It is good to have him, but only so.

Pato doesn't have that desire in him. Dirk Kuyt, Etoo, Milito, Rooney, Teves, they all have that desire. I don't think it's just that they're fitter, they simply work harder.

Seedorf has days where he has the desire and days where he just doesn't give a ****.

You're right, but I think it is at a large perspective. Motivation could not be kept for too long, club's amtition, competitive state, individual pleasure,... many things can affect motivation. People with strong character & physical strength often have high motivation or desire, like Kuyt, Rooney, Tevez, Eto,... and Gattuso before 2009-2010. Technical players tend to finish his job than put more fire into it, Seedorf, Pirlo, Rui Costa,... sometimes were very aggresive but most of the time they just simply get the ball and pass it at agreeable precision, even without creativity.

I really love the way Pato developed both physically and technically. Same goes for Kaka and Sheva(especially Sheva, he developed a lot physically)

Thank for your info.

I think Pato was already very good technically when he came, then he only need to build up his strength, same to Sheva, and Kaka was trained physically in San Paulo, we just let him play and enjoy the show .

If Ajax want 20 million, I would rather have Otamendi, even though he had a bad world cup. The only thing is I would want to see is if we could get Honda, since he would take our non EU spot. If we sell Janku and Kaladze and get Poli, our mercato is a success. What do you think Van der Wiel and Poli are actually worth?

I really believe that Otamendi can shine as as our backup right back to Abate, but I have no faith at all in Abate in any defensive role whatsoever, but we need to keep him. And we could get Otamendi for probably 8-10$ million, Coentraeo plays only on the left and doesn't have much of a defensive game, and is probably only gonna be sold for 12$million+ while Ajax have rejected a 20 million offer for Van der Wiel. We need a fullback, and Otamendi has international experience, but unfortunately that cuts out all chances for Honda. Really I would rather have Poli. If its true that we have a limited budget this mercato, we haven't done a bad job really.

We brought in some youth players. I think 4 or 5, and if 1 of them turns out good its worth the 7 million. We reassured our defence with Papa whos very versatile, signing Yepes was a mistake now that we have a nearly fully fit Onyewu who is a good reserve defender. Now we need two signings, a fullback and a midfielder and we will be set. I think our dominate forward is Pato??

And on Asamoah, Udinese already lost Marco Motta and Simone Pepe. Candreva has stated he would like to play for us.... so it will take alot of money to lure both Asmamoah and Alexis Sanchez away from Udinese...unfortunatley

Goal.com says Palmeiras have agreed 7 million to loan Ronaldinho with Milan.Football-Italia.net says Palmeiras and Milan are negotiating I'd believe the second one.

I'd also be for selling Dinho for around 10 mil if I knew that 5 - 10 would be put with it and a player who would score 10 - 15 and create 10 -15.But we know that won't happen unfortunately take Dinho out and you are basically taking away a guaranteed 20 + goals through scoring and creating.

i dont see the sense in loaning ronaldinho out at all. either keep him or sell him.

i'd take Lazio's RB without thinking twice over Otamendi also considering he costs much less., he would solve our problems there. Then Loaning ibra could solve our problems in attack. Then add 2 midfielders, spending there, with Huntelaar sale, Poli+Honda would fight with scudetto. İs it really hard to do?
Abbiati/Amelia
Liech. Nesta/Papa Silva Antonini
Flamini Pirlo Poli
Honda
ibra Pato.

No space for Ronadinho. Maybe They are planning to loan ibra with that money. His wage is too much. i just see this as a problem, cuz Barcelona wants to offload him.

Then adapt Strasser and Merkel to midfield, Albertazzi to defence and Verdi to attack instead of playing useless champions.

No club will buy a guy for 60 + million and just loan him out 12 months later even if the club he is going to pay all his wages.
