lol. This is only one match. But maybe I can understand. From what I saw his games with Milan (not with Alliegri but before) and Primavera, he still doesn't satisfy my hope for him. Too rough/raw player. But his speed/pace could be useful.

I like the youngs, and I think why we all love all these young players is because we did not have any in the team for years, so any young player is good to us. Now if you look at all the mistakes that the young players are makeing it a big procentge. You give the ball away so much in the midfield and you are playing Inter, Barca,Real, Chelsea you will get punished, from the bright side it is only pre-season lets hope they will get better.

"Odu" is full of energy, sometimes too much and he overruns him self, just like Pato when he first came to Milan.

what a sh1tty game. towards the end, everybody (from both sides) was running like a headless chicken.

and I still haven't figured out why their second goal was disallowed.

Merkel is good, quite skillful and can defend, but he needs the deciding pass to start for Milan.

Panathinaikos' defense is stronger than Varese's sub, it is hard for Odu and any Milan's forward today.

Sokratis is our best CB at the moment, 100% fit while Nesta & Silva need some days.

I don't exptect much from Zam & Gattuso but they still can provide something.

Amelia is in competitive mood

it was such a hilarious and silly game that I couldn't wait for it to end. as soon as the 90-minute whistle was blown, I shut it off.

obviously there were unexpected penalty kicks after 90 minutes, and it seems that Milan won 4-3.

damn.

yeah i did not know there were going to be penalties either so i slept right after the final whistle...and i think it was 5-3

it really was a poor 2nd half but i actually liked the 1st half especially Merkel's performance.
None of the other yongsters impressed...but none was bad
Sokratis was very good in the 2nd...totally owned Cisse who was causing all sorts of trouble for Nesta with his pace.
Bonera was pretty bad, as usual lately
Seedorf is also not bad in Pirlo's role which i think should be the solution for the entire season: rotating them

when is our next friendly??

We played with a high defense, which wasn't the right solution against Panathinaikos, especially with both T.Silva and Nesta needing to physically improve, against Cissé who is already ready for the new season.

So we conceded many, many, many chances, we even conceded a goal (funny to see that everyone saw the goal except the referees !! ).

Despite this problem in defense, the midfield was good: we discovered a new Seedorf who needs to run less than in other positions by playing as vice-Pirlo (so it could be the right solution for him), Flamini runs, runs, and still runs, even if this time, he was a bit tired after 65-70 minutes and totally disappeared from the game, and Merkel showed he could be useful because it seems he has more and more confidence and managed to do some very good things. Gattuso wasn't good, nor bad. We struggled in midfield and attack when Strasser, Berretta and Novinic played.

Good game by Borriello too, he runs a lot and helps in midfield, the problem is he never really had any chance to score if I'm not wrong, he mainly tried to create for Odu and other partners. He managed to play well for 50-55 minutes.

Odu can't be in first team, not yet, like others stated before. The guy lacks something.

When Bonera came in, we conceded more chances than when it was T.Silva with Nesta (which was unlikely to happen regarding the amount of chances we let them try). And when Sokratis came in, he just stopped all our opponents by himself, Bonera seemed nowhere when Sokratis just seemed to have a twin in our defense because he did everything. Sokratis seems to be already ready for the next season.

I don't know about the penalties.

A win is always good. If Merkel continues his improvement, maybe we needn't buy another CM. ACM is still too much for him, but it is OK for CM.
