Sorry, i just thought Pirlo deserves a thread so we could talk about what a great player he is and his possible role in Allegris formation. I think this player, above all deserved many self-accomplished accolades for himself (golden ball etc) for these many years he's been providing us with passing and crossing and FK's that have won us a lot of games and trophies. I think he deserved a lot more over his career, to me it seems like pirlo was an un noticed ronaldinho - people outside of italy never realized how great he is tbh because of his style of play - VERY effective, but not so fancy.

So, we need ore more 'runner' fullback (as we have already Antonini) and one offensive and creative midfielder (who 'dares' to run) then we have many 'runners' (fortunately only for starting line-up) with assumption Flamini and Merkel playing alongside Pirlo.

omg. Pirlo scored a freekick for Italy today... a good one too.. haven't seen that happen for years
