Guys look at Brazil's new formation!!!
------Victor(Gremio)-----
D.Alves----T.Silva---D.Luiz---A.Santos
-------Lucas------Ramires------
------P.Henrigue(Ganso)------
--Neymar---Pato---Robinho--

Everyone's got so much offensive talent!!! Even the more defensive mids.
I would change Andre Santos and put Marcelo in
Hernanes and Jucilei for Ramires and Lucas even though i'd like to see Hernanes in a more offensive position
Still....a fresh and positive start for Brazil!

Barca have agreed a 15 million fee with Bremen for Ozil , listening to or rather reading the Barca fans comments about this is great and for such a small fee , damnit i'd be amazed if Milan had 15 million.
Schalke really intereted i Hunter my head says sell but my heart say's it will just be money in the bank again nothing spent. Its been such a crappy summer for us but it is what I expected , a problem we'd have now is even if we did offer 15 mil for Ozil chances are he wouldn't want to come to Milan. That will be a problem for us now actually signing players , no big player will want to come and if this season we slip outside the top 4 (it is possible) then we will find it hard to get back in there .

Our older players all 15 of them are a year or 2 away from calling it a day (by our standards any other top club they'd be gone 3 years ago) we wont have a squad so will have to spend , but my concern is they will buy players for 2 million and less or just keep signing guys 32-34.This would be a transitional year as some have said if the contracts of the grandpas's were not extended. So it isnt a transitional year as we will have the same team next year.

ATM 4 signing with maybe 40 - 50 million spent would set us up some bit but it will be left too far im afraid. And will get to the stage that to be competitive we will need 10 + players and about 150 million to do it.I really don't understand this mgt and if they cannot see the future they are stupid, and if they do and still do nothing it proves they just don't give a f**k.

Our mercato is closed for now. The management thought we were competitive in mid-july (Papa, Amelia, Yepes) but Allegri wanted a dynamic midfielder. Genoa have now bought Boateng, so very soon Allegri will have what he asked for.

It has been reported that Barca have agreed terms with Werder around 13-15 mil for Mesut Ozil(last year of contract)

Ozil would be the perfect signing for us. Honda and Hernanes would cost the same. but ozil is younger and IMO he is more talented and more suited to the trequartista role that Allegri prefers.

For that money he would be a steal.

I agree 100% he would great for us , but I do not think that he would say yes please and join Milan when Barca Man Utd and Chelsea + Bayern are interested. It will be a problem for us getting players to join , but at long as we are not spending it will be even harder to sign players. But I agree Kastriot he would be a really good buy for us.

Doesn't his contract end in January ? If that's the case, 15M is a lot ...
Anyway, Barcelona and Werder can agree as long as they want, but I read on several websites that Ozil has an agreement with Real Madrid (contract when he will be free).

Every teams are buying players for us, they signed tthem for World records and high fees, payed them good wages, and let them be a part of their teams till they are like 30+. then these teams will be let Milan sign them for free or loan them to Milan due to Milan being a great club......

I just read Boateng may well reject the year long loan and stay at Genoa lol. Also read that we may well need to pay 2.5m for a year long loan with no rights to buy. If that's the case then I must question the deal, as we'd pay 1.5m for salary and 1m to Genoa for the loan. If he performs well though, then we'd have to pay a lot to get him permanantly, which doesn't seem too appealing to me.

Pretty much no news today beyond this story. The Bocchetti rumours seem to have died and we're not linked to anyone else.

About Boateng, it seems he will come on loan once he will have signed for Genoa. We'll pay a 1M fee and his wages (1.5M). They will give us an option to buy him.

I read that next year, with some of the contracts expiring and other stuff, we could "earn"/save 80M, with a part of this money being used to build a new squad (10M ? ). So maybe some of you are right, Berlusconi just asked to Genoa to buy a player for us because we have no money right now, and we will buy the player next year with a higher fee ? It's the only way I see both teams being happy.

About the Primavera, the official list of players is:

DI FABIO Davide
PALEARI Alberto Andrea
PISCITELLI Riccardo

ALBERTAZZI Michelangelo
BALDAN Marco
DE SCIGLIO Mattia
DESOLE Mattia
DE VITO Andrea
GHIRINGHELLI Luca
PASINI Nicola
SAMPIRISI Mario
SANTONOCITO Luca

BERTONI Luca
CALVANO Simone
FOSSATI Marco Ezio
HOTTOR Edmund Etsč
LORA Filippo
MERKEL Alexander
NOVINIC Mitja
PIROVANO Valerio

BERETTA Giacomo
COGLIATI Pietro Maria
GAETA Marco
GANZ Simone Andrea
MANCUSO Leonardo
PALIBRK Uros

In bold: Albertazzi, again in Primavera despite what Galliani said last year. I think it could be time to send him on loan in a Serie B team to allow him to gain some experience. Merkel, despite all reports and rumours about the fact he would be included in first team, he is still registered in Primavera.

Of course, they can play in first team, but the fact they are registered there probably means they will play a minor role in first team.

It has to be noticed that Strasser, Odu and Verdi are not registered in Primavera. Strasser and Odu already have a profile on our official website in the first team page. Verdi should be included soon too.

Anyway, I think one of them will be sent on loan somewhere, especially Odu (it's my opinion, no rumour, no report, nothing official nor unofficial, just my opinion).

Real Madrid now turn their attention's to T.Silva after they failed in Maicon bid.Milan said he is not for sale but Madrid plan on offering 25 million and Milan would look at cashing in and using the money to rejuvinate their ageing squad.

Where have we heard this before..lol , I honestly don't think he will leave this year but if he did there would be no rejuvinating just a continuation of bad mgt and money for books.

Rumours:
- the one Jay wrote just before that post (T.Silva-Madrid, 25M)
- Schalke interested by Huntelaar, they want a striker to play alongside Raul and able to score in CL
- Milan still doesn't know what to do for Ronaldinho, there are rumours that there are offers

If we want to build a good squad again, T.Silva must stay, Ronaldinho should be replaced sooner or later, and for Huntelaar, I have a mixed feeling (letting him go would give us money, but I think he could be very useful in our new system).

But if we are more interested by money, well, let's sell these 3 players: if we say that Thiago Silva is on the market, I'm pretty sure that Chelsea, Manchester City or Barcelona will try to beat Madrid to get him and the offers could be around 30-35M. Huntelaar could allow us to receive 15M (what we paid). And Ronaldinho could be sold for 10M.

That's between 55 and 60M + the wages.

With that, we'll be able to buy a new Inzaghi (Simone Inzaghi ), a new Thiago Silva (Canavarro ) and a new Ronaldinho (Mascara, same teeth ), a team of champions ?!

I have this wild baseless thought that Robinho might be our big star signing this Summer. Didn't Man City want Ronaldinho?

How about a swap + 5-10 million?

That would be a dream deal. Robinho is very industrious and mobile. He would solve many of our problems up front.

For anyone who was interested by discussion me and Aficio had about universality and specialist footballers, I have found an article which covers in quite nice detail about the influence Sacchi had on me in this debate. It's written by Jonathan Wilson who also wrote the book I was suggesting a while back (Inverting the Pyramid to anyone interested) where I originally read about Sacchi's thoughts in this aspect of the modern game.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/blog...dfielders-gone

Personally, I think the sections about Sacchi in the article are a must read for a Milan fan, as it explains a fair amount of what made Sacchi's Milan so incredible.

I don't agree with the last reason about the liberalisation of the offside law (mainly referring to the active or inactive status of offside players) in respect to playing a high line. Whilst it's extremely difficult in modern times to apply a high defensive line that plays offside effectively, I do think it's still possible with correct preparation and discipline. The problem more than anything is the lack discipline amongst modern players, where many star players play for themselves rather than the team and therefore training methods like the ones Sacchi used in the late 80's are no longer "accepted". The other problem is while this ideology is incredible, it is extremely strenuous on players and coaches both physically and mentally. This explains why Sacchi's Milan, whilst the greatest club side ever suffered decline within a span of a few years before Capello replaced him and changed things.

Sorry to go off topic.
