Buying Ganso would mean selling Ronaldinho. I want to give him a chance this year, he earned that from us at least.

I think we need to think ahead and work towards building a competitive team for the future, which Dinho simply won't be a part of. Dinho's workrate, in a system which demands it will be a huge problem, as it could throw the balance of the whole team.

Also, whilst Dinho was hugely important last season for his quality, he did hamper the team a great deal with his choice not to track back, which was best exploited by United.

If we were to sell Huntelaar as heavily rumoured, I'd without a doubt try to use the money to finance a deal for Ganso. Neymar looks to have gone to Chelsea for around 25m euros, and I can't imagine Ganso commanding as much (as I said before, he's not hyped as much), so we should be able to get him for a fee of at most around 20m euros.

Any swap deal involving favalli and kaladze counts as a movement.

Don't be so harsh... the three new players you mentioned are improvement over three other players you mentioned (storari, favalli, kaladze).

I hope you all know buying Ronaldinho was to ease us from the fact Kaka had planned to be sold... they never had an intention of keeping both....

Can someone who extremely knowledgeable on Milan Management explain to me how is it that we're broke? After the sale of Shevchenko, Kaka, how in the world are we broke?

I was the one who started the idea that Berlusconi, being the pres of Italia, cannot look to be spending a lot in these harsh economic times, with possible worse things to come later this year, and therefore he is unwilling to spend, but how has it come to the fact that Schalke, Wolfesburg, Genoa, Inter, Juventus, even Roma.. ... that they can spend more money than us...and by a lot..?

Please someone explain the basic reason how we're broke, unwilling to spend, and are on the way down as a club, probably to out of contention of Champions League after this year due to this weak old squad...

i was actually happy some of them didn't happen - like Camaronesi and Trezeguet.

Our wage bill is ridiculously high for a squad of 28 players , the rent on the san siro milan lab travel you add that up it probably comes to be more than the 240 million or so that we make per annum on average.

Madrid look set to beat Milan to Ganso....being real honest here if they bid 1000 euro they will beat us we have no money to spare nothing to buy with , we need to sell to buy but unless we sell Silva or Pato we won't get more than 12 million , and if they were sold we'd end up fairly light and empty handed by mgt.

well very few clubs in the world are covering all of their costs, so one way or another their debts are increasing before the owner takes the money out of his pocket to balance the books.

berlusconi isn't willing to do that anymore, so we aren't spending any money either in order not to incur costs we can't cover. that's my understanding.

Yeah, that's true. I was just saying that to get Ganso we have to sell Dinho. I wouldn't mind that happening, but I also honestly wouldn't mind having him for another year at least.
