Say what you want about Sheva, but at least the man realized he is declining and returned to Dinamo to play, after rescinding his huge salary at Chelsea.

And he is actually doing pretty well, working hard and contributing a lot.

I think Sheva's case was a little different in that he got to go back to his "homeclub".

I can't really blame Janku or Kala, I'm sure many would do the same in their positions, earning a fat paycheck for doing pretty much nothing. It was a mistake by the club to offer these stupid contracts and now we must suffer because of it.

You are right about that.
Still i see these kind of players like some public sector workers in Greek offices.
Just sit around and take the money, have no motivation and putting zero effort to improve because they know, whatever happens, their place will be secure.

Some of them gave a lot to Milan, some of them not that much but as much as we respect them, this team needs to carry on.

History and tradition are two things that distinguish our club but in order to be at the top again, we just need to keep up with our football times and not just rest assured thinking of the glorious past.

They should have pride and it's a good thing if they do.
But they just can't show it on the pitch.

Me now must go after WDW. period.

He is a surplus there...and i`m sure that the 8 mil will do the job. We need an attacking midfielder (our new coach asked for one since the beginning).

He is till in his prime, very eager to prove himself. There are better player out there in his position, but he is definitely available now on the cheap. And if management doesn`t use their good connections with Perez to get him at least on loan. it would be serious sing of lack of ambition.

If we get WDW than I`d go even further and swap Dinho with Robinho and we can have very mobile first team.

suddenly we look like we have a chance to win something... I'm not a fan of KPB though but I'd start him over Ambro + Rino for sure for now. I think getting Robinho would be better than getting a Dzeko/Ibra type.

I've never really understood the hype surrounding Van Der Vaart tbh. Personally, I don't see him as a player who would elevate the quality of our team.

Almost all the talk is Kaka's days at Real being numbered not vdv, but then again those are just rumor sites

now, i am a van der vaart fan, but i am gonna try and take this from an un biased point of view.

look at all the players available at his position, then look at the price of these players. vdv is the cheapest player we can get at his position and of his quality.

at Real even Snejder didn't look like a super star.

to me VDV and Snejder are similar players - physical and hard working, VDV would give us much needed presense and stability in the midfield.
Sneider doesn't dribble much, and doesn't produce Ronnie-like passes, still he is outstanding at holding the ball and giving assists. To me VDV is the same.
