I agree, VdV is a very good player and would help us alot as he can play both attacking wings and CAM.

I also wouldn't mind VdV coming but where would he fit in a starting lineup that already has Pirlo, Dinho AND Seedorf? (with neither of the aforementioned players looking like they're going to be benched anytime soon?). He's a great player who can definitely do Dinho's job in terms of providing assists and is more mobile as well but I can't see us purchasing him unless Dinho isn't going to renew his contract.

In any case, Madrid aren't going to let him go now given that Kaka has a long term injury and he hasn't really been able to perform that well for the team regardless. At the same time, this is Madrid and they do some strange things sometimes.

come on guys...Allegri has already publicly stated that Seedorf will only be vice-Pirlo and i am pretty sure if Dinho will not deliver, he will bench him...he seems that kind of coach....the one with balls
and with Ambro & Gattuso who look far from reliable and KPB who i think will do much better than these 2 but most here don't seem convinced, i'm sure VdV could become a starter...

i know everybody is convinced that what we really need is a CAM and a full back and i cannot but agree....however, i am "almost certain" that with Boriello & Huntelaar we will never win anything...they are just not that good. so for me, if we can sell both and get Ibra and promote Beretta we would have more chances to win sg....I would prefer a younger striker (would have loved Balotelli tbh) and i would even say Dzeko because both have what it takes but there is always this possibility that they might not make it whereas Ibra is a guarantee given that in his BAD season with Barca he managed to score 21 goals in 44 matchs!!!

What you need to understand that nobody is expecting from them to be Top goalscorer of the league this season. We have Pato for that. Pato is the 25+ goals per season. If Borriello can keep up the good work from last year that would be enough. If both Hunter and Borriello can have combined 20 + goals i`d be very happy. Thats their job beside giving full support for Pato..At least this is my opinion.

On the other hand lets pray Pato is fit for 90% of the games, and you will have the top goalscorer.

Remember the Sheva - Pippo partnership....It was one or the other leading the goal charts. Never both of them had 20 + goals per season.

That is smth that nobody can guarantee. but from a medical perspective i dont think his injuries were chronically like Nesta`s back injury or ronaldo`s knee injury.

here is what i understand:
-Pato is a 20+ goal player i know
-Borri's "work" last year did not impress me and whatever anybody will say...he just slows the play down...kind of like Gattuso...
-Borri in his best season ever, which was with Genoa - the only thing where he played like every single minute of every single game, scored 19 goals
-Sheva & Inzaghi did not score 20 both in the same season but both were 20+ goalscorers....either could score that much in any season...and if u probably play Inzaghi now for every match he could still get u 20 (although i am not a fan)
-Huntelaar did score many in Holland, but he has failed in Spain & in Italy so far and i would love that he proves me wrong
-the only thing that u might be right about is that Borri& hunter can score a combined 20+ since i just checked & they did score 14+7 last yr.

so i stand by my opinion

If Pato hits 25 + and Borri get around 18 again and Hunter 10 - 15 added Dinho's 10 - 15 thats not bad infact its good very good.

Young Boys raped Spurs the first I hope they keep their heads and gon and score again , great for the smaller teams to be winninh.Hochstrasser looks great first time seing him not recommending we buy him ...lol
