14 in 27 games is just more than 1 in 2 games. That's a very good total.

I don't think that Borriello & Huinter are slow. It's our mid that kills the potential pace of the team, and the ball hogs too. Borreillo does hog a bit, but only cause of lack of movement, ditto for R80, but sometimes he is waiting to create an opportunity for himself.

This team would be very good with a quick AM like Ganso or Honda whilst a player like VDV would require more movement from other players to be more successful.

Well in terms of playing ability and only judging by pre season our current patch of youth Merkel/Odu/Verdi/Strasser look alot sharper than previous batch.

Borriello is lethargic,Hunter sometimes looks lost (that could improve this season since he now has serie a experience). But 14 goals in 27 games most of them against lesser opponents,although goals are good no matter who they're against but being our first choice striker.....lets just say he's good for now.

I agree with the midfield part.

But i wasn't really focusing on the Ballack incident,i used it as an example of how his character isn't typical of a Milan player.

He has only been in Ghana NT for the months leading up to the world cup,like i said not much to go on.

For 5 games......sure

Well if we were planning on "educating" someone i was rather hoping it'd be ben arfa instead

We only patched up the team a little bit with some fresh but average players like Sokratis, Yepes, few young ones and now Boateng who will help with rotation and dinamism. Now its time to add QUALITY that will lift the game to another level needed to win scudetto. Ibra refused City and there is still 10 days for him. Somehow we need to do it, I dont care how.

If we do this then all the brainless running from Flamini and Boateng would have some meaning. This way we'll just see Dinho and Pato playing with few players that cannot think while they run like Borri, Flams, Boateng, Rino, Abate, Antonini etc. And some that cannot run while they think: Pirlo, Seedorf, Pippo, Zambrotta...

I agree with your premise,if Pato stayed fit it's not unrealistic that he can do 20+ goals a season and if he played closer to goal as a forward not a winger.
Bagging 12 goals as a winger is pretty damn good hopefully playing him closer to goal will increase his goal tally this season.
But his ankle is starting to worry me,looks like he pulled up again in training

Galliani should tell this news to Genoa President ASAP!!!

If Genoa president is to believed than next summer should be a good one in terms of investment in the market. In this sense the Boateng and Ibra(?) loan moves really make sense.

If they prove to be good purchases the Boateng will cost at most 7 mil plus some youngster in co-own. And we will get Ibra at a discounted price even more if barca do well without him.
I think Ibra will purchase himself at the end. If he does well for us we will challenge for the scuddeto for sure, win it or not we will play CL next year. And that alone will give us the financial power to take him from Barca.

KPB's retaliation against Ballack is a huge plus in my book...

I seriously don't see any logical way this could happen.
Ibra has stated time after time that he "doesn't want to leave the best club in the world".
And Barcelona also stated that they want to give him another chance.

In any way, they will never sell him cheaply after the huge sum they paid for him.
The only possible benefit for Barca is if we loan him, pay his wages and buy him out next season when we finally get rid of our "great champions".
