sorry to disappoint you guys, but i had the chance to watch boateng in SA and really he is nothing special. the tattoos and the ghetto stuff does not make him a good player.
i wish him luck with us but we are clearly going in the wrong direction, he is a direct replacement for seedorf since pirlo and flamini has a starting spots.
get ready for flying red cards this season

i agree with the bolded part, although i think he is useful fro rotation reasons..what i wanted to say is that we must not expect him to be an 11 material,he is just not imo

Yeah, he looks like a real muppet (see the pic in my avatar for evidence), but we have to hope that someone thinks they can make a silk purse out of this particular sows ear...

welcome to KPB. I know he's got very mixed opinions here, but I still believe that with some refinement, he could be an excellent player for us. What makes me optimistic is Allegri seems to have personally requested him (he is probably well aware of KPB's strengths and weaknesses) and has a good track record in helping young players break through at the highest level.

Kevin-Prince Boateng will wear the jersey number 27, which in recent seasons has been owned by Brazilian Serginho. As in the World Cup, his name on the Rossoneri jersey will be "Prince" and not Boateng

I'm not sure i've ever had this much contempt for an incoming player. The word douchebag was created for guys like this.

BUT....if he can do a job for us this season then i suppose i'll bite my tongue.

He calls himself Prince because his father's name is Prince Boateng, a surprisingly common name amongst many Africans. He's said in the past it is out of respect for his father that he has the name Prince on his back. Hardly a "fag" like thing to do if you ask me.

Determined and with a great desire to work and learn. Kevin Prince Boateng was unvelied today at a press conference at Milanello after his first two days at Milan.

(IN THE PHOTO: KEVIN PRINCE BOATENG, TODAY AT MILANELLO, WITH HIS NEW SHIRT)

MILANELLO – This is what the new midfielder, Kevin Prince Boateng, had to say at the press conference at Milanello:

ON HIS FIRST FEELINGS AS A ROSSONERO:
"Like all footballers, I was and am aware that Milan is one of the greatest football clubs in the world.
Team-mates, the coaching staff have all welcomed me like a big family. I have also been impressed by the Milanello Sports Center because I've never seen anything like it, it is truly impressive. There is everything you need. I have been in Italy for a week, but here at Milanello for only a couple of days and I still have to get to know more about everything."

ONE HIS CHARACTERISTICS:
"You're the expert and you have to decide what kind of player I am. I Must be assessed by the coach and the fans after watching the game and decide what my strengths and my weaknesses are."

ON HIS OBJECTIVES:
"For me, it is not important how I arrived at Milan, I am now one hundred percent a Milan player and I have to prove to myself to the coach that I can play at this level because that is what everyone expects when a player arrives at an important club like Milan. "

ON THE COMPETITION IN MIDFIELD:
"I'm not afraid because in a team like Milan competition is important. I know the famous players such as Pirlo, Gattuso and Seedorf and I know I can learn a lot from them. They are very strong players. I needI show my worth and work hard."

ON HIS FITNESS:
"I'm already ready to play Sunday night against Juventus in the Berlusconi Trophy. During the holidays I worked hard and got ready because I knew I faced a new challenge away from Portsmouth. Right now I'm ninety percent fit, playing I will certainly be one hundred percent."

ON THE DEAL THAT BROUGHT HIM HERE FROM GENOA:
"Ariedo Braida explained the situation to me, it doesn’t matter how I came here (Milan have to option to buy at the end of the season) the important thing is that I am now a Milan player."

ON HIS POSITION:
"The coach knows how I play and that i can cover many positions. Every player has a preference but my personal preferences do not matter, what matters is what the coach wants. I can play on the right and on the left side of midfield. My versatility allows me to adapt easily in a new team. The only thing I can do is give 100% everyday."

ON COMPETING WITH INTER IN THE LEAGUE:
"Inter had an amazing season last year but I have no fear. I have seen the team we have here at Milan, we have some very important players in all positions so if we can give 100% in all competitions then we will do well. I am not scared in any way."

ON HIS PAST:
"Everything that has happened and that you have read about me is all in the past. Now I am here and I am a new person. Everyone makes mistakes, all I ask is that you give me a year or two before passing judgement.
Being here at Milan now is a huge step for me in my career. I thank my family and all those people who have helped me get where I am today. Now I have to give it all back to those people. I know that this is a challenge, I accept the challenge and I am ready to face it."

ON HIS FAMILY AND HIS ARRIVAL:
"My family and my daughter will arrive on Friday and they cannot wait to see all the good things that I have seen over the last few days.
Before arriving I was nervous about meeting so many star players but then I went into the changing room and someone like Ronaldinho made me feel right at home and so it was that much easier."

You guys are a bit trigger happy, give the guy a chance. He is young aggressive and energetic, a stark contrast to what we have now. I will wait and see what Mr Prince can do for the cause.

Man i want to see him and Flamini soooo bad outside of Pirlo/Seedorf.

Gattuso to me has become more of a coppa italia or 15-20 min player on this team.
