Ronaldinho ‘close’ to his Barcelona weight

RONALDINHO has made a ‘remarkable’ progress.

According to AC Milan fitness coach, Daniele Tognaccini, Ronaldinho has lost almost seven pounds in two years since he arrived from FC Barcelona in 2008.

“Dinho is improving,” said Tognaccini to il Corriere dello Sport. Since arriving in Milan today has made remarkable progress.


“Now, his weight is close to what he had with Barcelona when he won the Ballon d’Or, 82-83 pounds. When he arrived to Milanello two years ago, in the first day he weighted nearly 90 pounds.”

This is good news for AC Milan ahead of the new season, as Ronaldinho plays much better when he’s light. However, all he needs to do in order to start his magic, is just a smile.

I have to praise Juventus, they have clear Ideas of what they want. They were unlucky with Ferara last year, but if they are a bit more lucky this season they will challenge...

What about us taking Diego now that he is clearly a surplus in Juve. I think in our environment he can flourish, maybe a loan deal can tempt Juventus and him???!!! if Wolfsburg are not interested anymore.

Diego isn't surplus, he's starting every game behind Amauri.

Krasic is overrated.

Weird rumors (probably only based on what Braida said of Ibra) about Ronaldinho going back to Brazil. Any truth to that?

Palmeiras president just said Ronaldinho was give permission(by Milan board) to discuss his transfer to the Brazilian team. If I'm not wrong, today is the last day of Brasileirão transfer window...

+ Huntelaars sale = 12m + 3m wages

See all that above is not fantasizing but infact very realistic. That's 70 fukin million excluding money from sponsors and tv deals. I hate how this management are taking us for a ride. With that money we can sooo get Ibra and Ganso/Robinho/Honda.

Yeah, but your using money saved from wages and combining it all into a transfer budget. That's not really fair unless that 70 fukin million is transfers + wage, which would only mean Ibra, and not Ibra + Ganso/Roninho/Honda. It could mean Dzeko + Robinho though... maybe...

Milan MUST get on this. i know there are better options, but being realistic to our.. ehemm.. money strategies, he would be great. Creative and a good worker.

Ibra won't come he doesnt want to unless he is pushed , and if he really is available City will try.If Hunter gets sold I guarantee we end up nothing to replace him , we sold Storari got Sokratis Yepes Free Amelia on loan Boateng on loan no money spent to bring in quality we needed a right back got none a creative mid to take the burden off Pirlo got none a striker that will guarantee 20 goals a season got none and thats only scratching the surface of what we need , if we need these things how come we see it and mgt do not???.Had 20 million to spend in 2 weeks it turned into nothing Genoa bought a player for AC Milan really it happened either we are in serious financial trouble or the money is being stolen(i know its not) but maybe its being moved around somwhere because the club sure as hell has no money.And as for next year we will get the signings players are out of contract same was meant to happen in 08 , 09 , and now but next year we could of got rid of Oddo Kala Zambro Rino but now we have them until 2012 add to that the inevitable extensions of Ambro Seedorf Pippo for 1 more year Yepes because he is a good champion , and while Im not saying we are crap are will be relegated ( I think we'll scrape 4th place this year) we are heading down the road of finishing anywhere from 6th to 12th in 2 years or so and needing so many replacements it just won't be possible.

I like this player, he is injury-prone so a loan deal is the best.

But our Mids (CM/DM) are set with the "prince" of Ghana, so we don't need another "prince"

We need an ACM. Aquilani is DM/CM for me, so now is not the right time.

Aquilani would be nice and rejuvenating, but too injury prone. I wonder if we'll ever see an Aquilani free of injuries for a few seasons and then he can truly prove what he can do. He has always been a great talent but hindered by injuries ever since he got to the big stage. It's a shame really. Nonetheless it would be great if we can loan him for a year with an option to buy. But that would mean that someone has to leave first because we have numbers in the midfield already.

The other stupid problem that we are facing is the defensive numbers. We have Nesta, Silva, Sokratis, Yepes, Bonera, Onyewu, Kaladze as CBs. We need to trim that down. And I know it's hard to get rid of Kakhaber "the leech" Kaladze, but can't we loan him out if there is a chance and make the other team pay anything. Whatever it is....20%,30%,40% of his salary. Whatever it is and at least we'll save some money on that since he won't play a single minute this year anyway. He obviously doesn't want to move and be sold because nobody will offer him this salary now, so this way he still gets the same amount of money only that he gets X % of it by another club. It makes sense to me, although i know it's harder to get rid of these leeches then it looks like. And same with Jankulovski.

Also, what the hell are we doing with Onyewu. He needs to go too. We are needlessly keeping 7 CBs and paying them money. We talk about Manchester City having 30+ players on their sheet yet look at our own. We are paying players that will probably not play a single minute this year. (Perhaps ONE game in the TIM Cup)

Just buy Ganso and Van Der Wiel, Berlu!!! Then we can all sleep good. The problem though??? We are not linked with either one of those two, yet surprisingly enough they are playing exactly at the positions that Milan needs to upgrade in order to challenge seriously again. Ganso can play as an ACM behind Ronaldinho as a support striker to Pato. And Van Der Wiel will solve the RB situation for years to come.

Damn, I'm in fantasy land again. Forgot that we don't even have money to buy Boateng for 6mil.

Definitely yes. But Van der Wiel has played in CL qualifier round, so I don't think Milan or any big clubs will buy him.

Robinho in talks with Besiktas 16 million now and 10 in add ons , why don't we try oh wait i know he isnt fee and Genoa wont buy him for us. Aqualani looks set to join Juve on loan.But not to worry we have Amelia Yepes Papa and Boateng great mercato our squad is complete and with champions like Kala Oddo Janku Rino Zambro Pippo Seedorf on the bench we are watch out world here we come.Yes Im p1ssed off I didnt expect 4 world class signings for 20 million each but I expected better than what we got.

Juve have an idea what they want , do I think it will work probably not.Inter need no signings this year Roma were good and added Adriano and Simplicio for free , Genoa had a good mercato even bought a player for us I still don't think they'll make top 4.But another lacklustre mercato from Milan where we stay the same we will not be any better than last year or worst but knockout of CL and scrapping for 3rd place isnt a good season its mediocure we didnt have 6 million for Boateng so Genoa bought him loaned to us and will ask for double if he has a good season anyone think that is pathetic.
