I think what he meant is having someone who can change the game with one play. The sad thing is, Milan have a squad full of champions that could do exactly that FOR THE OPPOSING TEAMS with their defensive mistakes.

He obviously doesn't want to move and be sold because nobody will offer him this salary now, so this way he still gets the same amount of money only that he gets X % of it by another club. It makes sense to me, although i know it's harder to get rid of these leeches then it looks like. And same with Jankulovski.

Also, what the hell are we doing with Onyewu. He needs to go too. We are needlessly keeping 7 CBs and paying them money. We talk about Manchester City having 30+ players on their sheet yet look at our own. We are paying players that will probably not play a single minute this year. (Perhaps ONE game in the TIM Cup)

Just buy Ganso and Van Der Wiel, Berlu!!! Then we can all sleep good. The problem though??? We are not linked with either one of those two, yet surprisingly enough they are playing exactly at the positions that Milan needs to upgrade in order to challenge seriously again. Ganso can play as an ACM behind Ronaldinho as a support striker to Pato. And Van Der Wiel will solve the RB situation for years to come.

Damn, I'm in fantasy land again. Forgot that we don't even have money to buy Boateng for 6mil.

Aquilani's injuries have all but killed his career so far imo, and personally he's not one I'd want us to take a risk on.

We may yet be able to hope for Kaladze leaving, apparently Vitesse are looking at him

You're right on the mark about Ganso and Van Der Wiel. The latter is of more immediate needs, but the former I'm sure will be a world class player in the future if he makes the right career choices. However, there's a couple of things I think we ought to note, which I feel may explain why we're not seriously linked to Ganso.

Looking at the Neymar saga of late, the price on the heads of these guys is ridiculous. Santos, however, seem desperate to keep hold of them for another year (I'm sure partly because Robinho is highly unlikely to return there), so I think they could loosen their grip after another season or two. The other reason I can imagine us wanting to wait is because we have so many overheads in our squad. Kaladze and Janku are the most publicized, but let's not forget Dinho is another whose contract will run out next summer, with little real evidence (besides a few publicity quotes) about him renewing. Many suggest next summer could be huge for our club and it wouldn't surprise me if we make the odd major transfer, replacing Dinho with a younger, but hugely talented player like Ganso.

For now it's little more than a dream, but I think we can be hopeful.

Damn, the Robinho rumors are starting to surface.
It's obvious that want to get rid of him and we absolutely must sign this guy IMHO.

Robinho is very creative, hardworking and fast. He is like an older more mature brother of Pato.
Imagine an attacking line of Ronni - Pato - Robinho.?

i dont see why we cannot afford him, i remember us having a 20 mil budget, and we still havent paid for anyone. the money we paid for papa came from storari sale. everyone else was either free or promoted or on loan. if we sign robinho this will definately be our best mercato in some years.

This is already our best mercato in years, we managed not to sell any of our targeted stars, and me replaced some old players with some younger ones. We promoted some youngster who seem talented.

Btw guys, as I always say here, we are out of the race for players like Ganso and Neymar... Santos, Internacional, São Paulo don't sell cheap their stars, as you could see yesterday when Santos refuses a great amount of money(nowadays) from Chelsea and hold their jewel. Ganso buyout is even bigger(50M) than of Neymar(35M) so, forget Ganso. Sad, but the reality is that we are now looking for KPB(hope the best for him) type of players...

Not so long ago, we beat Chelsea and R. Madrid for a young jewel in Brazil, not because of money, but with our prestige. Pato saw in Milan the best place for a Brazilian to go. Now, things are changing...

Well, Aquilani to Juve isn't confirmed yet, so there might be some hope for us?

It seems our big problem this year is not the lack of budget, but old players who don't want to leave and hence taking up space for potential arrivals.

Also, apparently Besiktas can get Robinho for 18 mil

I don't believe that Galliani can't convince him to come to Milan instead even with lower salary.

Honestly we won't either , our mgt constantly says we have to sell to buy not we need to free up space but we have to sell to buy , and Preziosi even said that we couldnt afford Boateng 6 million so they bought him loaned him out with the hope of making a profit.There is no way in hell we will sign Robinho unless we get him for free and he takes a 110,000 a week pay cut , you may not agree or want to but it is a fact atm.

i feel like if we buy more, then that will only make other players want to leave like gattuso. because i know he will leave if he doesnt see playing time, so would abate and adijah.

and honestly i feel like we should have sold pirlo last year when chelsea wanted him.

as far as janku and kala i hate these players. i know they did there things in previous years, but there time here is up and they should go. look at simic, rui costa and sheva they left when there time here was up. if i remember correctly simic begged to leave. even brocchi left.

as far as robinho goes, give them (man C) first option to sign pato whenever we decide to sell him.
