The best mercato for Milan until now is Rafa Benitez as Inter coach, Adriano to Roma(Ranieri is already there) plus, I'm really praying for Juve to sell Diego.

Haha, thats funny. The last thing Seria A needed was for its best manager to leave and have his boring football replaced by even more boring football.

Benitez will make so many changes from game to game, I hope it affects their continuity. On the other hand, it reminds me of when Houllier (horrible manager) went to Lyon. He was handed a machine, and did well, he couldn't help it.

So..inter are that strong, I don't think Benitez will hurt them too much and he may even make them better in Europe - The first team to win the double since Milan??

On Diego, he is a great player, who suddenly finds himself surrounded by better players and a better manager. He will run that midfield this year and probably help Juve give Inter a run for their money.

I can see Roma struggling this year, and would like to see Genoa get their CL spot - Italy needs clubs with the money to match their ambition.

I really don't know, my friend... Imo Diego was shinning at Juve last season until the entire team enter in that meltdown. He scored some amazing goals and was playing very good for a first season.

The entire team played bad after some time, but for a strange reason only Diego and Melo receive the biggest bashes. Melo doens perform last season, but Diego was very good when the team was working. And this come from a guy(me) that never was a big fan of Diego.

I agree he was handed a machine, but Benitez will find a way to show himself. I was hopping they give him the front row of the purchases. This year he came too late, but next year will be a great entertainment

Imo he's a great coach for a middle or small team, but horrible for a big. Inter fans will learn it and we will laugh a lot. Shame one of the best Brazilian prospects is handed to him... Benitez will throw Coutinho in the wrong position and kill the kid confidence. Somehow, I think already watch this movie

As he show today against us, Diego, if proper used, can be a real maestro for any team. Juve was another team after he come in...

your right he's a horrible coach for a big team i mean he won la primera division with valencia in 02 , 04 and the uefa cup , it's a miracle any other team wins la liga , then after played aganst catenaccio inter who even italians today now hate playing catenaccio and are aganst it , he brought liverpool almost 4 - 6 points to win the epl and its almost 20 yrs that liverpool actually challenges to win england , he brought liverpool to 2 UEFA CL finals won one of them and a fa cup , uefa super cup , was in the querter finals almost every year of the cl , i mean your right he will use people out of place i mean like turn kuyt into a striker who was a winger , make gerrard a support striker when there was no number 2 , and torres was the head monster , and depend on lucas in midfield which was like always playing with 9 ( goal keeper not included ) there's no way benitez will do better than inter mou last season be realistic , also i hate to do this but .... Moratti : benitez is a professional , unlike mourinho

Look, or we saw different Liverpool games, or one of us see tactics in a real different way, because kuyt still is a winger at Pool. It was Kuyt and Riera, Kuyt and Babel or even Benayon(sp?) and Torres upfront. Kuyt is a WINGER at Liverpool, period. Rafa's Pool base scheme was(mostly) 4-2-3-1, Can't believe we are disagreeing here...

The jab at Lucas was cheap, but your coach Rafa was the one who bought and chose to play him... and OUT OF POSITION as always
If you think Lucas is trash, fair enough, but you just prove one of my points: Everyone miss in some players, it's natural, but Rafa Benitez is the master of the horrible purchases. He miss more than any coach in a big team. But at least Lucas was cheap and is doing great when play for Brazil NT. Shame he will not play Coutinho, or if, like in pre-season, will put him out of position as left-winger. One more talent wasted by this competent middle/small team coach

Now,since when bring Liverpool 4 or 6 points of to win EPL in one year of his long tenure is a great achievment?!? Maybe if Liverpool board didn't give him money for mercato, it could be ok, but they give him a lot of money. And he failed, period. Liverpool is a big club and has a history of win it all in England... and one more time: even with the BIG AMOUNT of money he spent in the transfers market(I wish we had that budget), he could not WIN a single EPL title... To be fair, he achieve a big thing in EPL... To spent a lot of money and miss one of the 4 CL spots...

Another funny thing, just two months ago ESPN showed the Final we lost to Liverpool... That team was crap, pure catenaccio, they had only 6 minutes of great football and a Gerrard dive to tie the game and only it!! They did nothing before and after that 6 minutes... nothing. Props only to Gerrard for to play like a monster in the second-half. They've got the most luck draw ever. Btw, even the goal against Chelsea in the semis can't be proved to be a goal.

And in the CL final we won, every little league coach, pundit our rivals fan knew we were HORRIBLE at set peaces and aerial game. But him(Rafa) let Crouch on the bench for almost all the game. Crouch in 5 minutes create more danger to our defense than Liverpool all game long. Like I said, I'm glad he's Inter coach... It will bring more parity(sp?) to Serie A

Thanks. It is kind of strange that those two Brazilians got the most blame. I guess it has to do with their hefty transfer fee and they are foreigners?

Maybe, but to be fair, Melo played really bad... Diego had a very bright start in Serie A but fell with the team. To sell Diego after it would be pure knee-jerk reaction...

Berlusconi and Galliani confirm that we are after Ibra. Raiola says it is impossible for Milan to sign him on loan.

Is Ibra the impossible dream that Berlu and Galli are leading us to believe and at the end, they will blame Barcelona for asking for too much.
1. Barcelona payed 70mil for Ibra last summer and to be honest, I did not think he had as bad a season as a lot of people are bashing him for.
2. Unlike Milan, Barcelona does not need to worry about wage bills.
3. Why would they loan Ibra to Milan?

Don't get me wrong, I will be happy if that happens, but it just does not make sense and B & G had been very disappointing as of late.
