Actually when the Bocchetti rumor appeared for the first time it was said that Genoa wanted Abate in exchange... just after that then Janku's name appeared. So there may be some truth in that theory. Actually and honestly, Abate who is a right winger does not have place in our formation unless he plays one of 3-man midfield where he's too weak physically and can't defend much.

I'm watching Man City - Liverpool. City has many stars but their home grown players like Johnson, Richard & Hart are very good, too.

About home grow players, we already have: Oddo (oh man), Ambro (bought him young), Antonini, Abate, Pato (yeah, him), Strasser, Oduamadi & Borri

8 players already when we only need 4. I didn't even include Merkel & Verdi because they were not in official team on Milan's website.

We have about twice the required home grow number and twice grow in Italy so no need to worry about that.

For sure, Verdi and Merkel aren't, and I'm not sure that Pato is already one (won't he become a club homegrown player in January ?). I have some doubts about Strasser too (depends on how many years he's spent in the club) and Odu (same).

Anyway, we have enough players actually (Oddo, Anto, Abate, Borriello as club homegrown players, Ambro, Pirlo, Abb and Amelia as nation homegrown players for example, we have other players who can be registered as nation homegrown players).

yes homegrown are players who arived in the club like younghsters and thay most spend 4 years in the same club....

If we bring in Ibrahimovic I will very happy. Berlusconi and Galliani are finally taking this team seriously, and stepping up. They're making it clear what needs to be done, and will do everything they can to make it happen. We aren't rich, thats for sure but we have got to do the best we can.

If we get Ibrahimovic that stills leaves us a Non-EU place. I would love to see either Ganso, Honda, Robinho, or Dzeko. I doubt that will happen but we should look into it. But our first priority at the moment should be fullback. If Antonini can play on the right (I have heard that he can but am not sure) and Bocchetti plays on the left, we will have Nesta and Thiago Silva in the middle. Very solid. And with Sokratis, Yepes, Onyewu, Zambrotta, and Bonera we are very solid in that part of the field.

In midfield we will play with Flamini, Pirlo and either Ambrosini or Boetang. Seedorf has the talent to step in, while we also have good backups in Merkel, and even Gattuso.

Trequartista is going to be our biggest issue, since Ronaldinho has a hard time playing that position. Pirlo and Seedorf could play there, but it will be hard to work out. Thats why I would love to see Honda in our team to fill in that void. Allegri has said that if Ronaldinho plays we will play 4-3-3 but I would prefer a 4-3-1-2 with our current team.

Up front, Pato is an obvious starter and paired next to him I love to see Ibrahimovic. If we dont get him I would be fine with Borrielo or Huntelaar, but perhaps we will muster up the cash to get Ibra. We have a solid team. This team could probably win Serie A, quarter finals in Champions League and who cares about Coppa Italia though.....

About the non-EU spot, who knows, they maybe keep the place for a new player during the winter mercato ?
I mean, prices could decrease a little in South America after the end of the season (now, some clubs may be reluctant to sell, what's the point of selling your players during the middle of the season unless you can really earn a lot of money ?!), and it's difficult to find good reinforcements in Europe in January as the clubs are like the South American clubs during the summer (the best players are unavailable), and that lets us with only bad/average/decent players who, for most of them, already played in CL/Europa League.

IMO, that's the best thing to do if we think we could need a new player this winter ...

PS: Of course, if there was a possibility to get a rising star in Brazil right now, it's better taking him now and not letting the train go because we wanted to wait until January.

I think the management would wait to observe how the team play before spending on buying (not loaning).

About this season: I think we'll start slow & solid, then get better and better. Not a parabol like last year, began weak and finished weak.
