From a non EU perspective, yes. From any other perspective, no.

We are getting him on loan and are paying half of his salary. When we outbid the best teams in Europe to buy a superstar or even up and coming talent, then and only then can your fourth claim begin to becoem credible.

Point 4 was something of a hypothetical. If Berlusconi were indeed invested in the club like he used to be, we would be bidding competitively regardless of our revenue. However, fiscal probity seems to be the law for hardened crooks now, so what can you do?

'If' doesn't exist.

On another note - Sampdoria. They just did not have the fitness to compete with the Germans towards the end of the match and the extra time. It hurts Seria A that the league starts after other leagues and amazingly after CL qualifiers. Am I right in also saying that Seria A finishes either after or right before the CL final. Lack of organisation.

Yes, it was framed as an 'if' from the outset.

Quite apart from the lack of organization, which is frustrating, is the inability of Italian teams to see out a result. I just knew Samp would blow it. 3-0 up at home, and you give up a late goal and the psychological advantage. When Pazzini made it 2-0, I thought that the team had peaked too early. Couple that with, as you say, the lack of fitness, and it is no wonder that they are out.

It was a good game and the better team won. Samp just ran out of gas, kind of like Milan or any other IT teams in Europe beside Inter. Just hope Samp can do well in Europa.

We could have had C. Pizzaro from Chelsea in exchange for Kaladze 2 years ago, instead everyone here was complaining that we allready have Borrielo. Pizzaro is superior to Borrielo in every way, he can actually finish and is capable of powerful long range shots. He may not be ideal but he certainly would have done more for Milan than Borrielo, who at best is a B\C league forward.

i honestly feel like milan will swap Pirlo with Barca, cause i do remember earlier in the transfer campaign that Barca wanted him, and he is one of our best bargaining chips. and with Allegri who openly admitted that seedorf can play that role well.

idk anything can happen, we will see in the upcoming hours.

Galliani has already confirmed talks could last all week and he is prepared to squeeze the Catalans into a deal.

"If there was a need then I could stay there and negotiate until August 31," he said

Kaladze has spoken out against the club, saying that the coach is under orders that him and Janku shouldn't play.
