Daily Mirror reveals that Tottenham have started negotiations with AC Milan to bring the Dutchman to London on loan with an option to purchase after this season. The fixed price would be 12 million pounds (over 14.5 million )

I'd prefer Borriello to go as hunter never got a proper chance, but still if he;s sold to cover Ibra and Robinho I won't complain.

I thought it was pretty funny. Moratti has said some really disrespectful things lately, so a retort from Galliani (something that he doesn't do very often) is just what is needed right now

Barcelona (bunch of mercenaries - i hate how they go about transfers now and think they're better than everyone else!) have agreed a fee for Mascherano so i see no need for them to get Flamini.

Flamini will surely realise that he's going to get more games here than at Barcelona.

Has our new signing Bruno Montelongo taken our only non-eu spot? Could have been used to better effect if it has.

From what I understand he has an Italian passport, so the non-eu spot is still open.

If you think our mid will be great, fine. But last year we lost several 3 points in Serie A because our mid run out of gas. Games we scored and were winning... Even in San Siro! The management of a small team is a different animal than what he will face now... So, lets wait for the finish of the season before saying he's better at Milan than Leonardo.
Even more, because Allegri will need to do better than what you wrote in the quote above, since he will have a much better and(apparently) health team.

I think there's a few things that should be mentioned about our midfield, when you say that it kept running out of gas, is that it often consisted of Pirlo, Ambrosini and Seedorf. Pirlo has never been good defensively and he never ran much. He is the same player that he always was. Ambrosini is a hard worker. The problem, as I see it, with our midfield was that we kept playing either Seedorf or Gattuso, two players who are clearly too old now, while Flamini never really got a decent chance to show what he can do.

If we have a midfield consisting of Pirlo, Ambrosini and Flamini/Boateng, we will be fine. The only defensive liability is Pirlo, but he adds so much to our attacking play that we have to play him. The thing is that he needs two hard-working midfielders alongside him. Ambro is one of them, and it looks like Allegri will give the other midfield spot to either Flamini or Boateng. In that case I really don't see why we should worry, because both of them play aggressively and are hard workers. To me that actually sounds like a recipe for success, considering that we have some very skillfull and creative players in attack, and a defense that is far more solid than it was last season.

As for Allegri, I agree that coaching a team like Milan is very different from Cagliari, but then again Leo came in with no coaching experience at all, while Allegri was coach of the year in the Serie A for two seasons in a row. The team looks much more organized now than it did last season, as if there's an actual plan behind how they play. Allegri has everything to prove, but overall I would say that things look much, much better for us now than they did last summer.
