In regards to the question of whether the three of our strikers can play together, I think it is very important to remember one thing: when superstars play together, all of them have to sacrifice a little to make it work. That means, Ibra, Pato and Ronaldinho won't be the world beaters by themselves but rather do a little less each to forge a great unit. Its like with Team USA in the Beijing Olympics. Kobe, LeBron James and Wade didn't try to beat the other team single handedly like they usually did with their own NBA team. Instead, they all took on a smaller role and focused on other aspects of the game other than simply scoring to make the team work better. That is how superstars work together.

But I think the sacrifice could not be painful.

Dinho did all the creating job last year thanks to the lack of good players upfront.

Now with Ibra and more movement from mids, he has less burden and could take on the defense with his lighter body

Kaka is an ACM, but Ibra is a second forward with big body, there will be not much collision.

I never said sacrifice has to be painful. Not having to carry the whole damn team on your own shoulder is actually a pretty nice feeling. Kobe would be the first one to tell you that.

BTW, in your last sentence, where did Kaka come from?

I didn't mean to give an opposite idea, but an addition one. Sacrifice could be good

2 years ago there was collision between Kaka & Dinho, but I don't think the same will happen between Ibra & Dinho.

BTW, am I the only one who think that Kaka could come back to Milan next summer or the summer after next? It just seems like he is not going to work out for RM and would be on the look out to restore his former glory. I think the Ronaldinho replacement could actually be Kaka, the guy Ronaldinho replaced. How funny would that be!

If Kaka is good enough, Real will not sell him, and if not, he'll really be another Sheva, IMO.

If Ibra comes and form a deadly striking force with Dinho & Pato, the n80 will get his contract extended with pay cut.

However, only future could tell.

I don't think so.

Players like Kaka who use speed as their best weapon declines quicker than the rest, especially if they are crusified with injuries.
A 30 year old Kaka will be a normal player.

I feel sorry for Barca actually because they are getting absolutely screwed in this deal,Sandro Rosell is a corporate lightweight and not suited for the top job.

I am not saying that Kaka would be the good old Kaka but rather we will still bring him back for sentimental values. Let's face it, if Kaka drops his wages, then Berlusconi would welcome him back with open arms. I just think that he is going to come back in the near future. Not because he is good enough to come back and lead this team again but rather thats just how this team operates.

30 million for Barca and 72million gross wages on 4 years.

Although Rui Costa cost 40 million, he had less wage so Ibrahimovic is the most expensive.

As much as I like Ibrahimovic, I think this is a poor decision by our management, especially since they are always complaining about a lack of funds. This money could be better spent getting 3 good players, like VDV, marcelo and robinho.

What would happen if we got him and a week later he gets a serious injury that puts him out for a year? stupid decision making.
