I can't see Boateng occupying a midfield spot. H may have more energy nad pace than Seedorf, but no where near the tactical intelligence.

I wouldn't get excited just yet. As long as that odious oxygen thief Raiola is in the mix, we can expect protracted negotiations. He is a publicity whore. People like him and Zahavi make my skin crawl.

I dont understand why the comparison with Seedorf!!! I personally expect him to take over one of the DM positions( Ambro , Gattuso)

I don`t know since I have not seen a lot of him..but Boateng has been incredible in trainings these couple of days. I follow our trainings on Milan channel...and he has been very lively, without doubt the best passer of all our DM. I`m starting to believe that he can become very useful for our team this season. he may be the missing energy that we have lacked lately.

The idea is for him to learn in the Milan system.. for them to mold him.. I think he will be starting along side Pirlo and Flamini... I don't see Seedorf, or Ambro/Rino as every day starters.. if anything Ambro would be first in the bunch. Seedorf is too offensive minded..

Even if he was to fail to impress as a starter, he's the typical kind of player to insert for the last 15-20 minutes in games, when our midfield starts walking ... but of course, the best would be that he turns to be a success and step up !!

Actually, this guy is ... a caricature of an agent, you know, like the ones you can see in the TV serie Entourage for example. The guy lies more than he breathes, he always talks in medias, even when nothing is asked to him, and he can create problems even when there is no problem with the player. So far, the real issue for the clubs with some of his players is that he has always been the winner at the end ...

Barca looks pretty scary. Indeed. Just take a close look at this team.

As for us, i think that's not a bad formation at all. Prince and Flamini kicking around, running and surrounding a deep lying playmaking Pirlo, Dinho in a kinda free role and a bit to the left, while double force short/tall attack wrecking some old school havoc. Sounds good?I start to believe so.

I think Boateng has a chance of being a starter, especially after Xmas. When his pace and energy will be needed more than Seedorf's skills and experience.
But i think we should be happy that we're able to have such a discussion. Competition is good. Maybe Boateng's arrival will drive Seedorf to try to harder. Who knows?

that Pirlo is guaranteed a spot, Flamini and Ambro will battle it out for another spot (maybe even play together). This leaves one more spots, Seedorf is a competitor and will work hard for it.

As far as Boateng being a defensive mid, that isn't the kind of player he is. He will concentrate on attacking. Seedorf offers much more from minute 1.

yes like that, but other than the last 30 minutes when we are attacking and lookign for a goal, I can't see Boateng playing there. I may be wrong, but I don't think he is tactically aware enough.
