We are trying to save some money so he's taken the next chartered flight in the cargo hold along with 500 packets of Viagra being dropped in Northern Cagliari at a large villa.

I agree. And we have a more than decent sub with Boateng.
But. i dont know. I follow Milan for 20 years now and something deep inside me says Ambro will be a starter again

Boriello and Antonini not called back for Italy's next games, Luca Antonelli (ex youth product now at Parma) has been called. Pirlo and Pazzini are also back in, no Balotelli (because of an injury I suppose).

The meeting between Rosell, Galliani and Raiola has ended, we are waiting for the verdict.

edit: correction, it hasn't ended, it's still continuing but there should be news soon...

I don't think that Boateng has to be that tactically aware, in our 4-3-3 system, I think he has to be a very competent passer of the ball and provide us with the sort of power, speed, and cover to have the system work.

This is why Allegri's system is different to Leo's when you look at it closer. It is not a 4-2-1-3 but more of a 4-1-2-3 where the "1" is a Pirlo playing more of a deep lying play maker than before. It may seem to be a slight adjustment, but it affects the tactics we play considerably.

----Defense
------Pirlo
--Fla-------KPB

The way that this looks is that Flamini is more offensive than Pirlo, same with KPB, but, what is actually happening is that Pirlo is providing the passing that will open up space and will be the "quarterback" of Milan's play. Flamini and KPB's jobs are to hold the midfield space, win the ball back, and support the burden of playing a pure front 3.

This is actually a more balanced formation than last year's, and if Ibra does come, it means that it would be a far more dynamic, and considerably younger team. It would be faster and quicker, and looking at games like Man Utd (especially) you can see that we will always maintain possession better than the others, the question is about whether we can finish our chances (Ibra) and if we don't, can we make sure to battle the running power that English teams (and Inter) like to use when they are being outplayed.

If you think that Boateng is supposed to be a Seedorf replacement, this is not impossible, though Seedorf is an extremely rare player. The work he used to do, combined with his rare ability to be another source of play making, means that he's like a Sneijder with a Muntari engine. KPB has not had to play in a team like Milan before, that's why it's difficult to see what he will or will not do. I think he has the physical attributes and the passing ability to do so, but, if he has the mindset, I don't think that's something we can determine yet. I wouldn't be surprised if he does do it, because I think he has the tools. It really comes down to how Allegri manages him and prepares him, the same can be said about Flamini as well.

That means that if KPB replaces Seedorf, Flamini has replaced Gattuso/Ambro, the next midfielder we will buy will be a Pirlo replacement. I guess we'll see next summer? My vote is for Montolivo, but, that's another day.

I agree Sputnick, Ambro will get lots of playing time. Hopefully not at the expense of Flams.

There is two reasons why Boateng will HAVE to be tactically aware:
1. We don't play with a DM in front of defence, instead we have Pirlo there. Boateng will need to cover this area with the other two midfielders, but also make sure he can hang onto the ball. These are things that come naturally to seedorf.
2. He will be playing behind Ronnie, who won't come back to defend. If Boateng starts day dreaming or going for 'glory runs' our left side will be completely exposed. Just imagine Messi or Ronaldo playing against Boateng - It won't happen.

I always knew how good Ibrahimovic is, but last year people thought he sucked, so I tried to find a clip of his last season at Barca, and this is what I found:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=90BDD...layer_embedded

Forget Robinho, Dzeko.... Ibrahimovic is the one. He has the best back heel ever, take a look at the video..and this is only at Barca in one year! My god this video has gotten me excited like when I first saw Pato's debut against Napoli.... The Ibrahimovic move is starting to kick in!

Trezeguet signed at Hercules (Spain). At least, we're sure we won't try to get him in the last minutes of the mercato ...
