Officially a Milan player. Unofficially, of course.

Report: Ibra to Milan tonight
Saturday 28 August, 2010
It's reported that Zlatan Ibrahimovic will formally be a Milan player within half an hour, while Klaas-Jan Huntelaar moves to Schalke 04.

According to Milannews.it, the Rossoneri have agreed a deal with Barcelona to take the Swede on loan with the purchase set at the end of the season for €25m.

Huntelaar would go to the Bundesliga with Schalke 04 for around €12m. A clue to his sale is in the fact the Dutchman is not in the squad for tomorrow's Serie A opener against Lecce.

Also missing are Marek Jankulovski and Kakha Kaladze, who are on the transfer list and ought to be sold before deadline day.

Oguchi Onyewu, Gianluca Zambrotta and Mario Yepes are left out, while Massimo Oddo and Mathieu Flamini are injured.

Milan squad: Abbiati, Amelia, Roma; Antonini, Bonera, Nesta, Papastathopoulos, Thiago Silva, Abate, Ambrosini, Boateng, Gattuso, Pirlo, Seedorf, Strasser, Borriello, Inzaghi, Oduamadi, Pato, Ronaldinho

We have lost a gem in Huntelaar. The striker who should have been used as the new Inzaghi for AC Milan
Ibrahimovic for Barcelona last season:
Matches: 41
Goals: 21
Assists: 10

I don't think that's bad at all. He would probably score more goals if all the players you mentioned had only one task: To make Ibrahimovic score all of Barcelona's goals. But it just doesn't work like that you know.

Congratulations on being the only person in the world who doesn't think Ibrahimovic is an upgrade compared to Borriello (well, maybe except his closest family)!

Huntelaar? I was also one of those hoping and thinking he could do well at Milan, but when he leaves now it's like he was never here. Contributed with almost nothing and would probably be 2nd choice even if Ibrahimovic didn't come. No big loss really.

To say the least I am one of those who stated my preference for Robinho over Ibra in this mercato. I hold no ill-will with him for chosing Merda over us, but I have never liked the attitude he showed at Ajax, Juve or Merda (I have always thought him to be an arrogant prick). But if he does the job for us, I don't mind having him around.

In fact, I was listening to a song the other day and this popped into my mind:

(Sung to the tune of, yes that song from Madagascar....)

Ibra-him-movic-movic
Ibra-him-movic-movic
Ibra-him-movic-movic
Ibra-him-------movic! (repeat to infinity)

Lets hope Binho doesn't get taken by Barca now.

Barca buy Ibra for $40m+Etoo.

We buy Ibra for $25m (delayed).

Wow.

I bet Man City feel horrible. They could pay Ibra his entire Milan contract in a year! For all you Ibra haters out there, that alone should shut you up. He could have played with Man City for much more money, but his pride made him lower even his existing contract by 20% to play for a great team and restore his reputation. Who cares if he doesn't love Milan specifically. Pato didn't and neither has Nesta or anyone of our heroes. Love takes time, but for now, we have him.

Ibrahimovic cost us as much as Felipe Melo did Juve.

Oh, and we get to pay next year.

Galliani is a genius.

I don't it is more Barcelona being idiot or us being genius? To think they got Chygrynsky for 25m after he was unable to play in CL, and sent him back for 15m before he was finally able to play in CL; then this Ibra 60 million in and 25 million out.

Wow, just WOW. 25 Million, I am happy.
