WOW!!! we sign one player and it seems as if the whole forum thinks all our problems are solved... i still think Ibra is a "Big game no show", poor champions League record for a big striker IMO... so i take it our objective is to ensure we can score against Lecce, Chievo, Cagliari, etc..LOL... pathetic!!! we need wing backs and Midfielders who can RUN!!! we are going to continue our season with our "HOPEFUL" midfielders, Seedorf, Pirlo, Gattuso, LMAO!!!!

He was more of a supporter of one of their players than the team itself, not sure who, one of the wingers.

Anyway he grew up and smart and became the joint numero uno for Milan fans with Franco & Marco, imo.

Ibra can't play 2moro as wasn't called up and hasn't been registered yet, prob on Monday.

Would be great to get another mid option like VDV, and also get Coates too.

I never said such a thing; I was angry at our management for being failed to get Ibra after Calciopoli.

2 possible answers:
- on loan this year, but we must buy him then, so he signs a 4 year contract starting next year ? (don't know if it's possible to do so)
- it's not a loan but a purchase but we will start paying next season

Didn't they do the same thing with Eto'o in Inter ?
There were rumours that the first year was only a loan ...

Let us everybody all just sit back and enjoy. I am sure that everybody here (except for zeekay maybe) is happy that Milan is strengthened and has a serious shot at trophies, and at such an amazing deal of only 24 million! I am also aware that Ibra was hated by many here myself included, but as long as he is one of us now, what's wrong with a change of heart? We all support this red-and-black jersey, don't we?

I am very happy not because we signed Ibra, (although I am) but that Berlusconi showed by this signing that he wants to built another team to dominate again.
I always liked and admired Berlusconi as for me he is a genius but lately I was not sure, I thought he was tired, and was looking to sell the club.

I still remember his first visit to Milanello after he bought Milan, he said that he wants to make Milan the best team in the world. Most of the people and players didn't believed him.

This year among other things he also said that he is the most successful President etc etc etc and Milan will win much more silverware under his presidency. Today I strongly believe in his statement.

I think that basically confirms that we do NOT have an option next year on refusing to buy him. That's the only way it can make sense to why he's signed a 4 year deal with Milan despite Milan getting a one year FREE loan from Barca.

Btw - Milan has emphasized on the prices a lot on the site for some reason (very embarrasing for Barca) and they say we start paying 8m from NEXT year, meaning that we've not touched our transfer money this year yet? (Well, we are paying 18m for Ibras wages total....) This also shows that Milan is going to be ready to spend big next year. We already will have to pay 2m (amelia) + 7m (kpb) + 8m (ibra, first installment) just to confirm our squad....



Any news on Coates, Montelongo, and that 15 year old Argentinean kid?

Montelongo: officially a Milan player. He already trained with the team.
Coates: I don't know.

Wow, it's like we've won a major trophy in here lol. Anyway, welcome to Ibra (and the others who've been announced over the last week or so) and let's hope for great successes.

Galliani must be given credit for his part. To not only get a loan deal when it seemed impossible, but also get the fee of 24m euros in 3 instalments is simply quite amazing, especially when Barca got him for 70m just a year ago and the expected price was around 40m.

However, then there's Raiola. This guy's my biggest fear about this transfer as with Ibra we get him too. Not only is he ruthless, he will do anything to get more money. He's congratulated Galliani today on the price, but if he gets a scent of some euros he will have no doubts in trying to screw us over.

Ibra is as arrogant as they come, and most people have (including myself) acknowledged this. However, times have changed and it's been a while since we heard of him causing problems with his attitude. Ultimately, he's also a player who can win you matches and is extremely useful for a team like Milan right now, so I'm sure many posters, myself included, will look past his drawbacks.

Let's face it, everyone, from football pundits, fans, journalists, players, ex-coaches and important figures like Moggi have all been saying a player like Ibra can make Milan extremely competitive, and really that's what we all want right?

Siregar we paid 7 for fossati as for the Romanian and hungrian were free, like buy fossati for 7 and get these 2 players for free,

I think we loaned one of them and we are looking to loan the other.

As for the 15 yes old wonder boy, I think we signed him as his agent mentioned something like that.


Regarding ibra, the only comfort is that we got one of the best attackers in this business and for ridiculous amount of money, again first year 18 mil, next year 13.5 that means ibra transfer will cost us 96 mil over 5 years.

I'm not sure if it's a steal or balance the books in a couple of years when you have to sell the best player in the world.

Again Ibra was never one one of my dream transfers, i would prefer torres or dzeko but we should be grateful. Ibra has to win us over, until then he is no more than a professional helping us win.
