Yea, loans with options to buy aren't always the best thing but they are a big part of today's football and it seems like there is more of them happening then permanent transfers nowdays.

Anyhow it seems like Roma have payed us 2mil right now and have the option to retain him for 13mil at the end of the season. So it's really not bad at all seeing that we freed up his wages and got some cash for a player that didn't want to stay here and wasn't going to play much.

Also....does anyone have any details on Kaladze's transfer?? At first it was said that it is a loan, yet they said he signed a 2 year contract! Very confusing because if he did sign a 2 year contract with Genoa, that means that he was sold, no?? Because he only had 1year remaining with us.
Not that it really matters as he is not coming back here anymore, but it would be interesting to know if we managed to get some cash for him also.

Yeah well, all of you are excited about Ibahimovic & Robinho, but to be honest, the signing of the summer for AC Milan is Kevin Prince Boateng . They guy could become the type of midfielder that Edgar Davids was for Juventus.

Regarding Bori's situation, I think it's similar to how we got Ibra. Of course, officially it's a loan deal, but with one condition: to exercise the buy option. That makes sense since Bori had already rejected the loan offer from Juve. So basically it's a buy.

If Pippo retires then we need another CF next season, maybe even if he doesn't retire. And even if Borri has a bad season at Roma, he is still a decent player, good as a sub for our 4 "starters".

Also, I doubt we will have those 4 players really rotate every game. In 3/4 I expect to see R80-Pato-Iibra. Depending on fitness and form one of the trio will be replaced with Robi. In any case, he is a sub. A sub worth 5M/yr.

I like how Milan basically invented a new transfer option: Loan with obligated transfer. Which is an oxymoron, really, since the idea of a loan is that you 'loan' something and give it back. In reality it's just a loophole to say 'get it now, pay later'.

Robinho now will learn that not only in Brazil he will receive support. The way our fans treated Ronaldinho, even when he wasn't giving it back as professional was top notch and rarely it is see... He will feel in home like in Santos.

I'm very excited about what could happen this season now ... and even more about none of our new players, but about Pato, after reading an article comparing Pato to Messi. They stated that Messi was very often injured before 21, and it's only at 21 he started to become physically "stronger" (the right word should be resistant I think) and injury free. And they then recalled that Pato is/is going to be 21 only, and it's this year he's probably become physically stronger too (and I think it can easily be noticed by watching him nowadays, compared to when he arrived, the difference is huge !!).

If that happens, we'll definitely have the best attack in the world !!

Not necessarely a WC fullback (they're not a lot), a solid behind and good forward FB would be enough ... It's maybe what you call a WC FB ?

Guys have noticed the alliance between raiola and Milan, this guy seems to only working for us, and I really want this to happen, unlike bronzetti this guy knows how to get you what you want.

Bronzetti: Oliviera, Ronaldo, Emerson and ronaldinho
Raiola: ibra, robinho, mattioni, (balotelli as soon as mancini get sacked)

Does anyone know if these transfers have had a positive effect on Season Ticket subscriptions?

I wonder if after signing Robinho Galliani said the market is closed?
