I think it has to do with Ibra's effect.

If Robinho came to Milan before Ibra (and Ibra didn't join Milan), he would be rated by fans as the brasilian Messi!

I want to point out that Roma have a an obligation to buy, not the option. And it's 10M, with no payment now. I have to say though, we lack some quality in midfield and in defense. I'm sure we can score a bunch of goals, but we are vulnerable in the back. Hopefully we dont get too many injuries and we will reach at least the semi-finals of the CL and keep up with Inter till the end. I still think they are better than us, but with Ibra we are almost assured to beat the small teams and I think our cousins will loose some important points at the start of the season. Things aren't going so well for them psychologically speaking, while we are super psyched.

our team is weak in fullbaks position and this position its important for every club.....
the 2 bakcs helps the team very very much.When a team is attacking the bakcs goes forward to help the team in attack and make Plus +1 attacker.........and when the deam is defending to to his defence fine.......the fullbacks role is to run in every minute of the game, and do ti all, attack and defence..........

That guy Coentrao is amazing for LB.....he is perfect...

I totally agree. In addition we should also consider our CB who can play as fullback. This is not for supporting the attack but more to balance the team. We need it since our attack is so offensive (mostly not tracking back).

We have depth both for defense and midfield but we lack of creativity and offensive players for both department.

I really can't believe some of you are writing starting line-ups with Pirlo starting in a 2 man midfield or a midfield 3 of Ambrosini, Pirlo, Seedorf. Against the better teams, we'd be destroyed with that as our midfield, remember Old Trafford?

Flamini has to start and one between Ambrosini/KPB has to be with him. It's the only way you can make our now 'stellar' forward line work for the team.

To sum up, as fantastic as the last couple of weeks have been, this is only about half of what needs doing to make us more competitive in ALL competitions. Lets hope it's the start of things to come!

I think, if we want to look at the problem of our team clearly, we should look at our journey last season. Why we lost many games in last third or fourth part of the league? Why we lost 0-4 to MU?

IMO it was mostly because of lack of depth in or we have problem like:
1. CB--> Nesta. It was like No Nesta No Party. Now we have good covered for CB. We have Yepes and Sokratis.
2. Pato--> He left the games so often but we could see as he played with the team we could win many games. The problem was we didn't have skilled second striker or similar type right wing forward like Pato. Solution: We have now Robinho.
3. We were also so dependent on Ronaldinho. Now we have Robinho who can play in Ronaldinho position AND Ibra so we can change the line up to put Ibra as striker and other as second striker.
4. We faced difficulties against small team (just to score 1 goal). We have now Ibra who hopefully can be used to minimize the problem.

As I said before, we are good covered for defense and midfield. The problem is that we lack creative and/or offensive player in respective departments.
