Don't know why you guys are still talking about the ManU and Inter games last season.
Not going to even mention the 2nd Leg of the ManU game, as there were just too many injuries. But during the 1st Leg, it really was not the midfield who lost the game, it was pretty much a one in a million fluke goal, or just a random Dida's moment that helped ManU started their come back. The injuries to Antonini opened up the whole right flank for ManU to attack. Then even our Rock of Nesta and Silva felt asleep for one second allowing Rooney to score.
It is true that with better finishing, Milan could have won that game but I think it was the defense that caused the lost more than the midfield.
As for the second game against Inter, I just think Inter played better than Milan, it was as simple as that, as they did everything right against Milan.

Where we trying to offload Abate?

There is absolutely no way this is our 100% fitness level! NO WAY. First, Allegri and some players said we are still not ready fitness wise ( Allegri specially said so ). Second, that would be a suicide and Milan as a serious club, with MilanLab at helm, would never do such thing. #rd - Allegri is not an amateur, even I know that is a suicide move. If Pirlo, Ambro, Dinho, Seedorf have NOw reached top fitness, we dont even have to play this year, we are lost.

We just had a good game and moved well. I'd say we looked move ORGANIZED then before. The positioning of the players was better, with midfield trio playing in line etc.

I think one of this guy & Paloschi could replace Pippo next season. Both possess killer instinct and have the same age (1989 born, like Pato).

He played full all 4 matches for Monaco until now and scored 2 goals in 2 last games. If he continues playing, he will reach a higher level, enough to be a sub in Milan.

Poor Paloschi now is not a starter for Parma and will cost us some money because of co-own contract. Pierre has an option to buy, but I think we can persuade him if he is really good.

Our fantastic 4 are second strikers or wide trequasita so we need a penalty-box specialist when Pippo leaves, IMO

About Ronaldinho, Galliani said after the game against Barcelona or Lecce, don't remember, that with such performances, his contract must be extended. That makes me curious (again) about what will happen to our Fantastic Four (the real one, not Janku-Oddo-Dida-Kala) at the end of the season ...

The general consensus on this forum is that we won't keep and won't be able to keep the 4 guys together for more than one season, so if the contract of Ronaldinho is extended and if this idea is true, that will mean we will have the right to be afraid for Pato ...

It's my opinion. No Italian coach would afford that, and knowing how we played last season, with Seedorf who's pretty good in defending when he wants to, it's clear that with Pirlo / (Anyone else) midfield we're too exposed and without Pirlo we have problems creating from the back.

Don't worry, Pato is going nowhere. Don't forget that Ronaldinho is 30, even if he extends he can be great one season and then totally disappear next season. Remember Rui Costa. He was amazing in 2002/2003 and then he slowly became inconsistent, tired and everything what comes with age.

Anyway, one thing I'm sure of is: Robinho's buying is not a show-off move as many journalist are trying to indicate. I'm Milan fan for too long to know that every player who's bought here is bought with purpose.

Allegri said that he thinks Paloschi is the best young italian striker, so I think/hope Paloschi will return next summer!

Sampdoria have revealed that the highly rated Andrea Poli is wanted by some of Italian football’s biggest clubs.

“Poli is of interest to both Milan clubs,” Samp director general Sergio Gasparin noted. “He has the potential to become the best Italian midfielder in the game.

“We’re just happy that he is with us for now even though we know that he is destined to play on some of the most important stages in the European game.”

Poli is a combative central midfielder and Italian Under-21 international who made his mark in Serie A last season.

Handed a regular shirt by then boss Gigi Del Neri, Poli proved himself to be a bright prospect for the future.

Poli, still just 20, is also understood to be of interest to Juventus given that Del Neri is now working in Turin.

Nice catch... But I worked in this area for years(physical preparation) and I just can't believe it's the case. If it's true, we are screwed!!

In any physical preparation, you work to your team(or individual athlete) to reach 100% at the "climax" of the competition. What could be the climax for a athlete or a team is up to them. But a athlete can't sustain his high level of fitness several months. The body can't hold it and fatigues, injures star to pop...

I believe it was just the atmosphere, confidence, first game at home, Ibra presentation and a poor team that gave a impression of extra gear for the players... Well, I hope so.

Do we really need to replace Pirlo? I mean, do we have to find a player with his qualities to replace him in the team? I think we should just find a new formation that doesn't need a deep lying playmaker and avoid the situation altogether.

4231, with Flamini and KPB behind our Fantastic Four, or eventually once Ronaldinho leaves, we can get an attacking midfielder that can defend as well, maybe Schweinsteiger or a similar sort of player.

We shouldn't look to just "replace" players. We always talk about replacing Pirlo, Seedorf, Rino and also Kaka and Sheva. Truth is though, these are very unique players and that's what made them so special, they're essentially irreplaceable. What we need to do is consider the coaches thoughts about the team's progression and get players who fit his ideas.

Last season was Poli's Serie A debut.

He started 26, subed in 5, scored 0 goal and assisted once, received 6 YCs.

If for stats only, he looks like another Gattuso.

Berlu saw the support and joy that Ibra brought , I fully believe that Binho was a backup but when Berlu saw the fans singing Inno Milan and almost creaming themselves (in the case of Hitman pre cumming ...lol) he said get him aswell , Berlu loves Milan and loves his bank balance , but I do believe that Milan is as much in his heart as mine.....My fiance has suffored Milan games live that what she calls it sufforing ...lol but this season Im going back I'll try for a deby but my wallet may not handle that ...as long as i get to see 4-2-fantasia i'll be happy.

It wasn't so much the injuries that cost us that match but the workrate which was practically non-existant from some players. You can't go into a match of that magnitude and have almost half your team strut around like they own Old Trafford and decide not to do their defensive duty. Even the commentators said they couldn't believe how little effort some of our players put in after they lost the ball.

This is one of the elements that has to change if we're to win anything this season.
