Yes the players should have come out firing....but for some reason they had not been doing that for quite sometime, remember Cap's last game in San Siro against Roma, it was probably the worst game I seen Milan played that season.

The other thing about Leg 2 was that I think the players just gave up after the first goal. But I don't blame them mainly due to their form and injuries at that time.

It seems our mercato isn't closed yet ... There are rumours of our interest for François Clerc who has no more contract if I'm not wrong. I already said I wouldn't want this player, but if he is free, reduces his wages compared to the ones he had in Lyon and comes as a backup for our RB position, that's ok (but isn't it too many "if" ? ).

I miss this player. If our budget was not too tight, we should let him (or Hunter) stay.

Against Lecce, he took part in 1st and 2nd goal, in his own way.

I hope Borrielo knows that he is only going to be a bench warmer at Roma, he has Vucinic, Menez and Adriano ahead of him. Good luck to him nonetheless, I hope he has better success in Rome.

Not really actually ...
Playing in his role, there is only Totti (who is often injured) and Adriano (who is fat and already injured).
Vucinic is sometimes used as a striker but he's not a striker, so I think he'll play again on a side, a bit like Pato had to do last year, but coming from the left (I think Vucinic prefers coming from the left).

Menez is always used as a winger, and he is a winger.

So their attack should be something like
Menez - Vucinic
--- Borriello ---

IMO, Borriello is the kind of player Roma needed to step up, and now they have him (and like they really lack real strikers in their squad, it was an even bigger need). So this championship could be interesting and offer some surprises like Inter ending at the 3rd place ...

Perhaps, Inter are going to have a tough season this year, I hope Benitez really messes up things there and a few players end up leaving because of it...it will be perfect

Yeah

Benitez is not good at controlling his players, so winning a top league outside Spain is hard for him. That's why he tried to buy a lot of Spanish for Liverpool, and now he wants the direct disciplines like Kuyt, Lucas, Marsh...

Spot on, that may be the truth. He really treats his players like second class citizens, I am sure he is a decent tactician but he is not much of a leader, he has no charisma. He is one of those coaches that has a plan and everything worked out but is not able to relate to his players or inspire them.

If we had offloaded janku I'd say definete yes, as such I'd like to see De Vito promoted a few times as he looked good last year.

It's the kind of thing you can even more easily notice when a coach leaves his club ...

The guy left Liverpool (Europa League this year) to go coaching Inter (the best team in Europe last year) and I read nothing about some of his former players saying they want to come to Inter to follow Benitez. I saw no praise from these players. It's like if the coach left and it's normal despite all the years he had spent in England.

When you compare to Ancelotti, all our players praised him, saying they will miss him. You can also compare to Mourinho, some players even said they would be glad to follow him in Real Madrid. We can do a list of coaches who are like that.

Benitez isn't one of this kind.

And I stated it once already but Benitez is a "black cat" (that has probably no sense in English, when superstitious people see a black cat on the same pavement as them, they are afraid something bad could happen to them), and to be convinced, you just have to look at the situation of both Valencia and Liverpool after Benitez left ...

So if Benitez stays in Inter for more than 1 year, I think he'll easily destroy the club on the long term !!

Why if Janku left you would have accepted Clerc ? I don't understand the link between both players actually ...

But Clerc is a RB, he can't play at all on the left (but if you want my opnion, he can't play at all in our Milan !! ).

After reading how happy seems Rosella Sensi about the reinforcement of Roma with Borriello, I wonder if there isn't a reason not linked with football in this move !!
