the en vogue sneijder/ozil type role. 4-2-3-1 or 4-2-1-3 where he has two defensive mids and 3 forwards... Truthfully it's more of the second than first formation but it's pretty interchangeable. He CAN easily play in a 3man midfield Problem with milan has always been fact none of our DMs are able to consistently move ball up to CAM to maximize that. Ozil had schweinstagger/khedira. Zanetti./Cambiasso are better on ball than any milan DM. At Santos he had Wesley who is a very good CM. The time brazil used him v. usa lucas/ramires played CDMs and both are strong on the ball

Good to see them training with the team.
The faster they all get to know each other, the better our linkup play will become Never thought I'd be happy just watching people run around on a pitch

Zlatan Ibrahimovic & Robinho Press Conference: Milan Will Win The Scudetto, I Don't Care About Inter, Milan Are Greater Than Barcelona - Ibra Galliani: "Ibrahimovic and Robinho's arrivals have seen our season ticket sales go up and we are now up to 45,000 fans. I think we can beat the 52,000 record from a couple of years ago." DUH,, should have done this before.. |

Just for laughs, guys. Taken from football-italia.net
Mario Balotelli teased journalists by singing the Milan anthem out of the hospital window ahead of his knee surgery! The Manchester City striker responded favourably to Rossoneri Vice-President Adriano Galliani confessing he'd like to sign the player in future. SuperMario, who could be out for six weeks after surgery on the lateral meniscus ligament in his right knee, teased the journalists camped outside the hospital in Pavia. First the former Inter hitman sang the Milan anthem out of the window, then leaned out and shouted ‘Forza Milan!’“As a child he was a Milan supporter," explained Galliani. “This morning I sent him a text message wishing him good luck, seeing as he's one of our fans. “Now that's enough, otherwise we'll create a diplomatic incident! At the very least I'd like to avoid causing trouble for Manchester City.” ps: LOL!! Funny how I begin to like this kid. First, Ibra's remark and then this. Poor old Moratti..

News for today:
- Balotelli sings the Milan anthem before the operation to tease the press. Also said he likes Gallianis comments about him joining Milan. - Milan linked with Pazzini - Seedorf, Nesta and Flamini will be out of the squad travelling to Cesena. Ibra, Prince & Sokratis should step into the starting line up. - Pellegatti: "Watch out for Montelongo. He is far behind the team in preparations but he is moving well and is very fast in training". I like this news the most. Can't wait for Saturday, 45 hours left till kick off. Here's something to pump you all up: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yj2yx14HD9k |
