Just my opinion Montreal Twins.

Yes Bonera is worse then Onyewu. And I dont hate or want to get rid of Pato. All I was saying is that as a Club (business) you wouldnt be worried having a player that is your future (not my opinion) being injured so much?

Would you guys sell Pato for 40mil euro? Would you take Dzeko for Pato plus 30 mil? Would there be a price you would agree to?

If Pato is going to be like a Ronaldo with all the injuries in his career then I would like to get $$$ out of him. If he magically get healthy and doesnt get injured so often then I hope he never leaves.

If we're selling off Pato for 40 Mil, then shouldn't the trade be Dzeko plus 10 Mil for us?

Math-wise that is. I personally don't want ot see the kid leave. I'd rather he be our next Costacurta and leave when he retires.

Dude.... Maldini at the age of 90 should easily be third on that list

Anyway...

It's unfortunate Ambro and Pato are out.. they are so important for our team. But this season, we have Robinho to cover for him. We won't need to play Huntelaar as RW. I am actually more worried about Ambro's injury, at the moment. Sure, KPB proved to be a quality player vs Auxerre. But with Flamini injured too, things aren't too bright. Our only sub for Seedorf and KPB would be Gattuso (maybe some youngsters, i guess). Nonetheless, Pato's tendency towards injury is quite alarming.

Good news on the Ambro/Pato front.
They're expected to be out for about 2 to 3 weeks, which is already a better estimate than what was expected. Does anyone know when Flams will be back? I've been hoping for some news on that guy for a while now.

OC Milano, there's no way Bonera is worse than Onyewu. Onyewu's only advantage is his physique, beyond which he's a poor defender.

Bonera is clumsy and average, whilst Onyewu is never called up, ergo Serie C level player. There to make the numbers in training games.

Called players for this game:

Abbiati, Amelia, Roma
Antonini, Bonera, Nesta, Papastathopoulos, Thiago Silva, Zambrotta, Yepes
Abate, Boateng, Gattuso, Pirlo, Seedorf
Ibrahimovic, Inzaghi, Oduamadi, Robinho, Ronaldinho

IMO, the most probable team that will be sent on the pitch is going to be:
Abb
? - Nesta - T.Silva - Antonini
Boateng - Pirlo - Seedorf
Robinho - Ibra - Ronaldinho

? = Bonera or Zambrotta

God bless you. You forgot materrazi, favalli, kaladze, roque junior, laursen, and many others to be ahead of bonera. Anyways just to let u know that Danielle was so close to be called for the azurri last season but he did not due to injury.

And what's with the Montreal twins? Stop the conspiracy theory will you...

You like gooch and I understand that, but saying he is on par with yepes is a crime I have nothing against him but Mario was one of the best defenders last season. Anyways good luck to our #5 making the bench this season

Keep it up

Geo you are probably right and that's probably the 11 we'll see out tomorrow.

But I'd be open to seeing some rotation happening. There is a lot of games close together without much rest or preparation in the next few weeks. After all, we all agreed that having players like Papa, Yepes, Boateng, Robinho..etc, available to step in will be highly beneficial to keep the squad fresh and hopefully minimize the risk of injury.

So I'd be happy if we could at least give Nesta the day off and then go from there. Maybe give Abate a start as well. I feel like Abate can be useful with Robinho right in front of him (Robinho won't stay wide for long. He'll move centrally often which will open up space for our FB to take. And even though Abate is not the brightest of players, nor one that's really gifted....he can still push up in that space far better then Bonera or Zambrotta currently.

It's the typical game I wouldn't mind having Yepes with T.Silva for example. The problem is T.Silva comes back from a small injury, so Nesta should play alongside Sokratis, and around the 55-60th, send Yepes in for Nesta for example.

We don't need to let Nesta or T.Silva on the bench for 90 minutes, having some rotation can also mean replacing them during the game, of course, not at the 80th minute, it's useless, but before ...

Zambro needs a rest, and I would say to rest him for the Lazio clash on Wednesday (as well as the Genoa clash so he can play against Ajax) instead of wearing him out. Bonera I wouldn't trust with a wall behind his back. Lets put Papa there. He seems alright so long as he's not in the middle. We put him there during friendlies and he seemed to do well enough defensively.
