I agree with you ACMILAN1983, however, my only concern with playing the three senatori is as our inherent lack of pace versus their youth and versatility (this was clearly evident in the last game versus Ajax).

Nevertheless, I agree with you in term of the invaluable experience of Seedorf in such a game. It could work, but Allegri would have to be much quicker with his substitutions and ensure that the likes of Boateng and Flamini are introduced promptly once the inevitable onset of fatigue sets in (probably around 60th - 65th min of the game).

FIrst of all, Seedorf was invisible in Sat, thus he is back to his old self. Secondly, playing Seedorf, Pirlo, Gattuso and Dinho against a midfield of CR7, Di Maria, Xabi and Khedira.
Thirdly, Real is in great form at the moment and they are actually playing like a team instead of 11 individuals.

Honestly, say what you want about Seedorf exp in CL......but they are over-rated just like the so call championships swagger.

Not sure what is the deal with Flamini but Prince is very solid and he is tough to beat one-on-one, on top of that, he provides great energy for the midfield. Can you imagine Zambro and Antonini playing against CR7 and Di Maria?

I guess the only good thing for MIlan is Pato and Ibra are in forms and both of them want to laugh at JM's face.

If we can play a tight game I'm sure we can control the physical disadvantages we have and stop the Real players finding spaces. Saying that you're probably right that we'll need to introduce one of Flamini or Boateng after a while as I'm not sure our midfielders will be able to handle the physical demands of playing a really tight game throughout.

I wouldn't call Seedorf invisible on Saturday. I think he had a solid if unspectacular game. Also it's good not to underestimate his experience at this level. Having that mental advantage can make a huge difference in how you play. Saying that, I get the impression Boateng thrives on these big games, so I think he can handle the pressure well.

I'm surprised you didn't mention Ozil in Real's midfield, as he's arguably their most important player. Either way, I'm not too worried about Real's midfields pace and power per se, as I don't think it's unbeatable even if we play our older players. Stopping certain key individuals such as Ozil and Xabi will prevent supply to other key players like Ronaldo and Di Maria, making our life a lot easier.

Actually, our best bet is imo is not to try and stop Real's strengths, but rather to try and press Real high and attack their weaknesses. Many people including posters here have acknowledged Real's defensive weaknesses and so like last year, if we can press them high then I don't see why we can't beat them.

If Seedorf is so important he can be brought on from the 55th-65th minutes, he doesn't need to start. He has been as lazy as always this season and has been a liability as most people agree. Prince has been amazing in every sense and in every position and in every minute. He assists, he gets scoring opportunities, he defends, he's fast, he's strong on the ball...Seedorf only has experience over him.. honestly I strongly disagree with Allegri here.

Even if Seedorf is so important, Gattuso is not as good as Prince even with Rino's current form. Gattuso in his prime could not offer what Prince offers offensively at the moment.

Totally unacceptable decision. I hope Prince is included in the lineup otherwise I will be pissed until the Napoli game on Monday.

100% !!!!!!!!!

You can always bring Seedorf ON for Ronaldinho or Gattuso if we need more attack or a different look. Or Pirlo even.... That Midfield is too slow.. big mistake.. WHAT HAPPENED TO A ROTATION.. ESP WITH THE OLDER PLAYERS?? I hate to get mad before a game starts, but I hope Allegri gets this right. This should be the lineup...

-----------------Ibra-------Pato--------------------
--------------------Ronaldinho--------------------
-------------Gattuso-----------Boateng-----------
----------------------Pirlo-------------------------
Nini------------T. Silva---Nesta------------Zambro
--------------------Amelia---------------------------

* If needed, Seedorf for R80, Pirlo, Gattuso, or Boateng
* Flamini for Gattuso or Ronaldinho
* Robinho for Pato/ibra/R80
* That gives options.......

Lets just beat Madrid again at Madrid

These days AC Milan don't have the true 'read&black' players, so I care less about who plays where. Ibrahimovic & Robinho are not Kaka & $hevchenko

So no fun in that aspect. But lets just hope Pato can start shinning on big stage with more consistency to fulfill the space of a true red&black match winning forward.

I am not scared of Madrid's defense,
I am not scared of Madrid's midfield,
I am not scared of Madrid's attack,
I am not scared of individual abilities of Cristiano, Higuaine or Ozil
But
I am scared of Jose Mourinho

He just knows, how to stop & beat AC Milan

Still I would say:

Lets just beat Real Madrid at Madrid once again

Whatever happened to all the posters on MM? This is our biggest game of the season so far and I don't see much activity on here. It was the same for the Chievo game. Are all the posters in winter hibernation or something?

Anyway, I'm not a religious or superstitious guy, but Forza Milan, let's win this one!

What's in the water over there in Pakistan? Maybe CIA is putting same stuff in your water they do in the Water in America...

Everything you say needs to be controversial or you're not happy. Ibra, & Robinho joined the team last month,,, obviously they're not legends like Kaka and Sheva... I hope Pato, Robinho, & Ibra stay many years and win many trophies.
