we might not win or score goals
but if we dont show a considerable amount of improvement/strategic changes in the second half then allegri has to go imagine if mourinho was 2-0 down how would he react ? as much as i hate him he would still try till death allegri isnt a leader i didnt want to form an opinion so soon but he has survived coz of the fancy players this is disgusting Last edited by SomeDevil; 19-10-2010 at 14:37. |

WOW are people harsh on Allegri.What exactly should he do Silva can't play and Boateng has never played in a game as big in the CL for a team expected to win.The two goals were unlucky escpecially the second one , but the ball should never of gotten through for the FK.We had the better of most the first half but our midfield is too slow getting back and our defence is bit slower also with Zambro and Nesta...but Allegri is with the players day in day out and you think he's not playing Boateng or Flamini because he wants us to lose or something ??? We were all happy with Ibra and Binho but it was never going turn us into Barca.We need a couple of defenders and midfielders...great half by Amelia , If we get one back before they score again then its game on.

Bad first half, like if we wanted to wait 45 minutes before starting to play seriously, the problem is that Real didn't want to wait ...
We really defended like amateurs, well, I wonder if the word "defend" can be used with the way our team played. I expect a lot more in second half, I think we will come with another spirit, anyway I hope !!

allegri is simply sticking to what has worked years ago
he thinks experience etc will win this well no.madrid youth isnt scared easy. honestly the worst part is that they are not playing that great considering tis a home game and all allsgri is our hodgson |

Poor first half. We're committing suicide by stepping off of Madrid. We're not pressing at all and none of the front three are doing much beyond standing around. It's the same flaw we had with Leo last season.
As for the goals, they were both terrible. The freekick seemed odd to me from the start. I'm sure Amelia picked the wrong side to cover and had the wall covering the opposite side. However, even then the wall breaking apart was a joke (Seedorf the culprit). The second goal was a lack of focus. Clearly the first goal affected us badly and we let Real take full advantage. Seedorf's also having an awful match. Boateng seems a fair bet at this point in that position. Not sure how we'll get back into this unless the team pulls together and starts playing as they can. |

I had to smoke two cigarettes just to calm me down a bit.
Amelia wasn't at fault for anyof the goals in fact he's plaing quite well. Too bad he isn't helped by the muppet Bonera and our geriatric midfield (with the exception of Pirlo who's quite good so far tbh). Allegri, pleeeeeeaaaasssse put on KPB for Seedorf from the start of the second half.
