Exactly. If this is the case against a useless Juve side i shudder to think how its gooin to be on d big stage. Good one Ibra.

Missing Thiago Silva is clearly a big issue, but, I think as far as attacking goes, against the big teams, Ronaldinho fits the 4-3-1-2 better than Robinho. I think Robinho would be better as a second striker in the 4-3-1-2 than as a trequartista or winger.

This is why Ronaldinho is still important, he can actually make chances for our strikers.
If he was in this game and we were playing this formation he couldnt have done a thing. Rino and Prince were in the tranquesta area more then R70

It really looks like a 4213 formation

Game over

We lost it on their second goal, in my opinion. Antonini was horrendous in defense to let in Sissoko of all people to tee up Del Piero. Nesta didn't even challenge for the ball, and neither did Papa. We were attacking without anything to show for it.

With the way he was playing, Pato should have been taken off sooner, at the same time Seedorf should not have been subbed in.... he just slowed down play....

My main gripe though...... is with Gattuso. He saw so much of the ball, yet when it was time to pass it out to Abate or Bonera on the right for a cross........ he kept playing the ball BACK TO PIRLO OR NESTA!!!!!! What the heck is with that????? We were on the offensive and suddenly everything just slows down!

LMAO actually I thought the same thing ealrier too. Heartless effort.

And yes everyone its the coaches fault. Just like Jose gets the praise in all the teams he coaches, they are the one that have to change the mental mindset of the players and tactics as well.

And pleaseeeee anyone please tell me what you think the formation was?

For me Boateng's lack of tactical discipline has cost us a lot after conceding as he's essentially playing as a left winger/forward, but leaving huge holes in behind. Robinho too isn't helping as he's completely disappearing and isn't helping defensively.

We need to attack the Juve fullbacks which are currently very weak to try and get a breakthrough. With Ibra in the middle there's a good chance we'll get decent scoring chances.

Pirlo's also had a terrible first half, despite the fact he's often had a lot of space. He needs to improve, or else we'll need consider taking him off.

That's just crass, can't believe you're pleased about his injury.
Im happy he gets to rest, when did I use the word he is injured?
